Software Development Project Manager - Manage a team of 6-12 software and systems engineers providing development support including analysis, design, development, and technical management of custom application software systems on a task-order contract.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and development of custom scientific and engineering software systems for a Windows NT/95 based client/server platform using Microsoft Developer Studio and Visual C++.
- System requirements analysis, development of system specifications, project schedules, time/labor estimates, customer liaison, and task leadership.
- Presentation of system design prototypes and milestones to customers, supervisors, and team members.
- Participating member of the Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG), tasked with bringing the Scientific Systems Department to a Software Engineering Institute Level 3 certification.

- Led the design and development of the highly successful and greatly utilized Ocean Data Server library that provides oceanographic data to multiple key ocean acoustic programs used by the Navy fleet.
- Led the design and development of the Tropical Cyclone Warnings and Sound Speed Profile systems, two key applications used for risk detection, analysis, and planning by the Navy fleet.
- Designed and developed the highly regarded Briefing Support Library, an automated process to capture and build a graphical data presentation from any Windows NT based application.

Senior Systems Analyst - Served as Project Lead for a team of 5 programmers on a task-order contract, providing on-sight analytical support, customer liaison, and project management for a variety of software development and maintenance activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- System design and development in the migration of the Naval Aviation Logistics Data Analysis system from a COBOL based IBM mainframe platform to an Oracle, C, and PowerBuilder based Windows NT/95 PC client and UNIX server distributed system platform.
- Development of software requirements, design specifications, documentation, and full life-cycle support.
- Preparation and presentation of status/system progress at customer design reviews and status meetings.
