I think we might have to start calling this the comical own goals award, because yet
again this award has been won by an own goal scoring player. But my word,
wasn't it a cracker! Man United were 1-1 with Tottenham in the Premiership match
at White Hart Lane, when Tottenham win a corner. David Ginola takes it short,
and, after mucking around with it a little, whips in a fierce, low, in- swinging
corner, which young Paul thought he'd come back and help defend. A Tottenham
player went in for it and missed, and, there was Paul, who buried his header past
unlucky goalkeeper Mark Bosnich.
