Who the hell are Noarlunga United? Well that's a mighty good question, but here you'll find all you need to know about the Under 17's which is the team I currently play for. This year we've been in top form and the league championship looks a strong possibilty.
  Noarlunga United play in the South Australian Junior Soccer Association C League, which is South Australias third best league for Under 17's. Our home ground is at Wilfrod Taylor Reserve, which isn't exactly Wembly. In fact, the surface on our pitch is so bad it's more reminicent of a golf course bunker than a football
pitch. Anyway, it's all we've got so we have to live with it. Although it doesn't make for good football. Our home shirt is light blue, with the sleeves having white and navy blue stripes on them.

About The Line Up
  Wise and Rump swap about a fair bit between sweeper and centre half, and Wilkinson and
Steals sometimes play for the Under 19's and not us. I play as a true old-fashioned
winger. Jeff Taylor on the left is one of the best crossers I've seen, but
speed unfortunately isn't his strong point. Dave Hammett up front is the tallest
on the side but probably one of the worst headers of a football, while Ian
Steals has scored 17 goals from 7 starts, which speaks for itself really. Dave has
scored his fair share as well, although not quite as much as Ian.

                          cards in the space of twenty minutes, and were a goal behind until my 85th minute headed
                          equalizer. But we later found out that we'd won the game on forfeit after the opposition
                          had fielded an unregistered player. But I still count my goal.
