  Aaron is another player to come up through the ranks of Newcastle United's youth team, and although Ruud Gullit has signed three new defenders over the Summer, Aaron is still in and around first team football.
  His first team debut for Newcastle couldn't have been more nerve- racking. His first game was played in Barcelona's awe inspiring Nou Camp Stadium when United played Barcelona in the Champions League, and Aaron helped a depleted United side to a very respectable 1-0 defeat. His home debut was in a huge game as well, when Newcastle hosted Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League. 
  He then had to wait another few months to make his Premier League debut, but he did so in January '98 at Hillsborough against Sheffield Wednesday.
  Aaron has already established himself in the Northern Ireland national side despite still only being in his early twenties.
