Minutes of the March meeting held at the Duke of Wellington, Lichfield 13.03.08.

Present:               MP, JH, RJ, NW, MH, DF, KG, PG.
Apologies:           IH.

Finance
Current account has £945.79 to date. £52.04 spent on kit last month. MP asked if there would be any major spending in the near future, DF said no. JH paid for 5 nets.

Membership
The following members have made payments – DF, MH, PG, AH, 1/2SC, NE, NW, 3/4TE, PF, MP, PB, GB, DB, IH 1/4KG, JH . There will probably be 2No new members, Keith Stanley and Craig. DF has produced a brief historical note for new members which was met with approval. Contact numbers to be added. This will add to the maximum of 20No members this year. IH has accepted the Captaincy and needs to appoint his vice captain. IH needs to contact PB. Players meeting to be confirmed, possibly 03.04.08 dependent on the availability of the Captain.

No minutes.

Fixtures
MP said of only one fixture change. Coombes Wood fixture is on 14.09.08. MP has spoken to Barton CC and they have our fixture list. RJ thanked MP for his efforts this season.

Nets
2 nets remaining. Unable to organise outdoor nets at this time, this will be referred to the players meeting. DF mentioned the indoor nets at John Taylor High School cost £18.00 per hour for two aisles.

Kit
Club kit applications number 20 caps and 19 shirts so far. GB sustained a slight injury on his elbow, MH recommended purchase of Arm guards. Bats used in the indoor nets are no longer with us; 2 good bats are left no need to purchase another. Match balls to be purchased. MP to speak to Ivan Bennett regarding missing stumps before purchase of new ones. RJ thanked MH for new kit.

Social
Only 1 ticket left for test match.

Tour
MP said the opportunity may arise, will discuss as the season progresses.
