On these pages you can find pictures of the Suzuki 4x4's in my family.We presently own four, three Samarai's and a Sidekick. These little Pocket Monsters have caught a bad rap over the years, but after driving them for a while now, I've found them as safe as any other 4WD as long as you act as if you have a brain and use common sense! You CANNOT beat them for performance in the sand!!! My father (affectionately known as "Pop" to (at least) hundreds of my our friends) started this mess a few years ago by adding "Sammi1", an '87 hardtop, to our stable of autos. The family developed a fondness for the little Japanese Critters, and now we all own them. Here are a couple of pics of Pop's "Sammi1"
Most of these pictures were taken Thanksgiving weekend, 1999. We were at Carolina Beach, N.C., in the Fort Fisher, area. Feel free to come ride our beach, but act like you have some sense, clean up after yourself, and stay off the dunes(!) and we'll all be able to ride again next year! |
