Saturday 28th August Nationwide League Division 3 Hull City 2-3 Maccelsfield Boothferry Park K.O. 3PM
TIGERS BEATEN BY BAD OFICIATING!
Hull City's bad run of luck continued on Saturday when some terrible decisions were made by a poor referee. It had all started so well for City when in the 13th minute Colin Alcide received the ball on the edge of the area, turned, and fired a magnificent shot into the top corner of the Macclesfield net. Things started to go wrong when in the 39th minute Lee Bracey was sent off controversially for a profesional foul. Ex-Tiger Gregor "Fat Boy" Rioch converted the resulting spot-kick. Things got even worse when shortly into the second half some sloppy City defending resulted in Rioch converting a simple chance to make it 1-2. City put pressure on and it eventually payed off when a cross from the left was tucked away at full stretch by David Brown. Disaster struck when with only 2 minutes to go Weir scored a stunning over-head kick which sent the Macclesfield fans wild. Things reached boiling point just seconds after the final whistle when Gary Brabin was involved in a punch-up with a 'Town player.

TIGERS SORRY SEASIDE SHOW.
Hull City's bad start to the season continued when there penalty curse struck again. It started to go wrong in the 11th minute when the ball was bundled in by a Brighton attacker. It got worse in the second half when, for the 3rd match running Tigers keeper Lee Bracey was penalised for bringing down a Brighton attacker. It didn't look like a penalty but the referee gave it and it was converted with little difficulty. With just under 15 minutes to go it got even worse when a sweetly struck right foot shot ended up in the back of the Tigers net.
