Anand wins against Adams in a beautiful Nimzo-Indian game. Talk about
total domination! Anand got the extra half-point he needed to get joint
second with Kramnik. Way to go!! See you all at Amber! Watch this space
for coverage.

Round 13
-
Anand draws with Svidler in a sicilian game after only 22 moves.
Didn't look like like they ventured out of book for long. Tomorrow is the
last round and Anand faces Adams.
Mar07
Round 12
-
Anand draws with Kramnik. Meanwhile, Kasparov snatched a draw when he
looked really down against Adams. With 9.5, he has already sealed
his first place. Can Anand tie with Kramnik for second?
Anand faces Svidler next. Hope for a repeat of their earlier meeting.
Mar06
Round 11
-
Anand bounces back with an amazing win over Topalov. Poor Topalov, he
remains winless in this tournament thus far. Those of you who have a
chance should go over the game. Check out the piece sacrifices!
Anand faces the Kramnik next.

not enough to win.

Round 5
-
Another round, YET another draw. It is difficult to win against Kramnik,
of that there should be no doubt. But does he want to win?
Quite the opposite, when it comes to the World Champ. Kasparov hunted and
vanquished the erstwhile leader, Adams, to become the clear leader with
3.5/5. You have to admire the guy. Garry, we salute you.

Round 4

Round 3
-
In what Mig calls 'the highest rated game in the world' the top 2 players
Anand and Kasparov called it a draw. As Black, Anand accepted the Queen's
Gambit, and apparently switched the move order by playing a Qd6. This
sent the world champ into a long think. When the smoke finally cleared,
it was a draw.

Round 2
Feb21
Round 1
-
Anand drew with Ivanchuk. There were 3 draws today, and the only winner
was Mickey Adams, who is leading by a margin of 0.5.
