[Midwestern champion Doc Dean comes down to the ring on a pair of crutches.  With him is Brian Adias.  Dean gets the mic and speaks.]

DD: Everybody, I know you were all so excited about getting to see me defend my title tonight against Mark Schrader, but I'm afraid that just isn't going to happen tonight.  You see, I hurt my leg extremely bad this morning squating.  Yeah, I'd say I had about 600, 700 pounds up and my leg just gave way; that'll happen after you do about 10 reps.  So, once again, I apologize, but I can't wrestle tonight.  But don't fret, I do have a replacement, Brian Adias.  I'm sure he will more than give you some competition, Sharky!
