Closest major airport:
Salt Lake City Airport (approx 40 minutes from Park City)
Advantages of this location
The Silverlake Village area of Deer Valley offers the highest altitude for condo housing (8,000ft) of any of the sites listed here. Many very nice condos available for rent. Park City is a neat ski resort town with all the comforts of home (grocery stores, shopping, movie theaters, post office, dining, etc). Easy travel to low altitude on Interstate 80. Very close to major city with airport (Salt Lake City). Excellent training sites in Salt Lake City and the surrounding area.
Disadvantages of this location
Condo housing is probably the most expensive of all the sites listed here (although there are some good deals). Because Park City is located on the side of a mountain, it is difficult to find a flat run (particularly in the recommended living area of Silverlake Village). Northern-most of all the sites listed here, so snow (and the pricey ski season) may be a factor into late spring / early summer.
Training sites at low altitude:
Sugarhouse Park is convienently located a mile off of I-80 in Salt Lake City. The park has extesive grass areas and a six lane rekortan track. The park also features a cold water creek running thorugh it, which is great for post-workout cold water leg soaks. The track at East H.S. is only a few miles away, and features a softer surface than the track at Sugarhouse.

IMPORTANT: Make sure that your condo is in the Silverlake village area of Deer Valley, and not in Park City proper. Silverlake village can be a little more expensive than the condos in Park City, but they are located 1,000ft higher in elevation.
