Substitute |
The act of removing players from key games when they do anything consistantly good |
Recruit |
The guy who commits to your program but never actually shows up |
A.D. |
The idiot who told you you had great incoming "recruits"...(before you knew what recruits really were) |
Setting a "Pick" |
Getting your nose at just the right angle...well, you know the rest |
Offense |
A swarm of missed shots, blocked shots, & bad shots taken while travelling, fouling the opponent, and looking bewildered. This familiar aspect of 49er basketball has been known to go on for an entire season! |
Zone Defense |
Only applied when the opponent has no inside game and starts four white guys under 6' 2" that only rain the J from 30'+ |
Pockets |
The element of the coaches pants where his hands should never be |
Emotion |
Regardless if the team is up or down by 20, never show any. This is dangerous and might actually change/enhance the style/level of play |
Running a Play |
Using up all but 1.3 seconds of the clock before the player holding the ball decides to launch a brick |
