Fire Spread to Our Home Ground

Following the influx of news about football violence in Europe, the fire has now spread to the Reservoir Stadium. In yesterday's match, blood shedding incident was near to happen, but was well prevented by separation of the two quarrelling players.

The matches yesterday should all run in a freindly manner, so as to lift up our players' match fitness only. Though from yesterday's show the players' fitness can be obviously seen to be back, our victories were tarnished by violent act and other non-sportsmanship behaviours, showed by one player from the oppositionand Douggie of our side.

It was the opposition's player first showed anger towards our tight and combative defence in midfield by deliberately kicking Simon's legs after losing the ball to the latter. After his action, Simon, Eric & Doug's toughness in the challenge towards that player had intensified, and so did that player towards ours.

As Douggie was holding the ball but was forced backward by that player with rough body-checks, eventually a snudge onto that player's face was shown by Douggie, and therefore causing the outburst of words between the two players.

The quarrel was likely to turn into a fight, but was fortunately stopped by pulling the two players apart. Douggie was replaced immediately by Calvin and left on the stand. However the other side still keep its player on the pitch.

Because this is a serious event, punishment cannot be made at the moment. Douglas can still train and play until a punishment can be decided. The opposition had already been punished with a goal of class from Jeffy and lost the match.
