¡@¡@¡@¡@Our high flying tournament run eventually crash ended. The devastating 4-0 scoreline sent us all in frustration.
¡@¡@¡@¡@After series of battle, our players are short of stamina, concentration and complacent to face the strongest opponent of the competition who played one game less than us. Moreover Grimace was out because of personal problem, and defender Rocky was also out because of Illness. We were short of fit players available.
¡@¡@¡@¡@Right after the start, we could see it was a uphill battle. We were hard to gain ground in the opposition half. But as it seemed, we could still hang on their attack and hold them to the final second. However, things just went the other way. Because of a mistake in the defence that led to a goal conceded to the opposition, it all collapsed.
¡@¡@¡@¡@Wai anticipated a pass into the area by the opponent. The ball could be left for the keeper to collect, but he managed to dribble it out of the defence and failed to. The ball was let loose to an opposite player, and was put into the empty net.
¡@¡@¡@¡@Everyone had lost their mind, especially being challenged quite roughly, like pushing and illegal use of the body. Shortly after restart, a low cross from the left which our keeper hadn't come out to catch it. Devil could only block the first shot but not the second.
¡@¡@¡@¡@Chasing for two goals, our players moved much forward letting the tall opposition centreforward more room in the box. When the centreforward was picked up by a high chip pass from midfield, he put the ball over the onrushing goalie into the net.
¡@¡@¡@¡@The final goal was also a mistake in defence, losing possession to the opposition easily. A few passes then it went into the empty net.
¡@¡@¡@¡@All fell. Final score 4-0.
