1. Take on half a man. Use an aggressive rip arm through the offensive lineman you are lined up on.
2. Only get to heel or butt depth of the offensive lineman you are ripping through. Depth creates running lanes.
3. Find the ball and tackle it.
I feel you can't make this rocket science. It doesn't matter how much you know. It only matters what your players can execute.
In means front four lineman go to the gap inside.
Out means front four lineman go to the gap inside.

As a coach you have to figure out which calls don't work. The above call doesn't work because you can't send two players into one gap.
Notice on this call another rule. In a 40 front an end will never have B gap responsibilities. 41 Walk is an exception because it is actually a 50 front.
