The Head of the Estuary is put on by Oakland's Lake Merritt Rowing Club and is organized by Robert Kidd.

This was the 19th annual Head of the Estuary held at Jack London Square on the Oakland / Alameda Estuary with many outstanding organizations participating including the Cal Heavyweights, Cal Women's rowing teams & Cal Lightweights.
