The Communist Manifesto: Karl Marx

The book portrays the state of the world at the time. In my words slightly more than lost. The suggestion that the workers have nothing to lose but their chains was an empty promise. The only time that any of what Marx actually suggested come true was for a short time in Paris. But unfortunately for Marx the worker uprising was put down, and the actual dream of true communism has never been realized.

While Marx offers some neat ideas he fails to realize that man is fallen, and is unable to reach a state of Utopia that is required for his communist state to exist. Fanciful and interesting to read, the communist manifesto is a broken dream that can never be realized.
