MMP WrestleStorm '99
The next PPV offering from the MMP - Live from McNicholls Arena in Denver, CO on January 27
MMP WrestleStorm '99 is on the air!! More than 20, 000 fans have
jammed the McNicholls Arena in Denver for tonight's mega-event! Commentators Jerry Wood
and Ray Brewer are at ringside.
Wood: Welcome, everyone, to MMP WrestleStorm '99!!! I'm Jerry
Wood alongside Ray Brewer here in Denver, Colorado for the first MMP pay per view
spectacular of 1999! Tonight we will see three title defenses, the crowning of a new MMP
Extreme Champion, as well as highlights from the three tag team tournament matches that have
already gone down here in Denver!
Brewer: Seven outstanding matches on the card tonight, including the rematch between
Masochrist and Gemini Killer for the world title. Masochrist pulled the wool over the eyes of
Gemini and The Ghettoman a couple of weeks ago to win the first meeting between these two,
but Gemini has promised not to allow the same thing to happen this time around. Psychotic Sam
returns to the MMP tonight to challenge Captain Patrick O'Conner for the Universal
Championship, and the war between The Ghettoman and Dr. No Limit climaxes here tonight as
the two will battle for the Midwestern Championship.
Wood: And don't forget the Break-In Match for the Extreme title, pitting many of the top MMP
stars against each other in a match never before seen on pay per view. We have two other
hardcore matches, as well as a huge battle royal between many of the newcomers here in the
MMP. Contestants in the first match are making their way out, so let's go right to
ringside!
NEWCOMERS BATTLE ROYAL
The ring quickly filled up, as eleven of the top newcomers in the MMP made
their way down the aisle individually, all looking for that big break that could propel them to
stardom in the MMP. Once the opening bell sounded, a massive brawl errupted in all parts of
the ring. J. D. Jermaine was quickly eliminated by a thundering clothesline from Cherokee while
Harbinger tossed "The Survivor" Floyd Ryan over the top. XuMed and Goliath teamed up in
the early going, and battled it out with Harbinger and The Destroyer. The two big men went
back and forth while Harbinger and XuMed battled along the ropes. Seeing what was
happening, Bone came over quickly, grabbed one leg of Harbinger and one of XuMed and
dumped both men over the top.
Goliath and Destroyer soon separated, and went after other targets. The Bodyguard and Bone,
two men who would meet later on in a no-disqualification match, battled in the corner while
Perry Sanders locked up with Fury. Cherokee and Destroyer fought back and forth while
Goliath rested in the corner. Bodyguard lunged at Bone, who ducked the charge and sent his
opponent over the top to the floor. Bodyguard tried to get back in the ring, but the referees on
the outside managed to restrain him. Sanders dropkicked Fury over the top while Destroyer, no
longer preoccupied with Cherokee, tracked down Goliath and threw him out of the match. It
was down to the final four.
Cherokee, Destroyer, Bone, and Sanders each stood in one corner of the ring, surveying the
situation before making a move. Sanders made the first move, rushing Cherokee while
Destroyer and Bone exchanged rights and lefts in the middle of the ring. Bone and Destroyer
fought ferociously while Sanders and Cherokee struggled with each other on the side of the ring.
Suddenly, a masked man came out from under the ring with a screwdriver! He raked the tool
accross Sanders' forehead, causing him to fall over the top to the floor!! A powerful clothesline
from Destroyer put Bone over the top rope, leaving only two men in the match. As the big man
turned around, Cherokee attacked with a flying cross body attack, but Destroyer caught him in
mid air. Destroyer turned around to dump Cherokee to the floor, but the masked man, who
Destroyer did not see before, got up on the apron and pulled the UCW Extreme Champion over
the top rope to the floor to give Cherokee the win!!
Wood: Cherokee reigns supreme in the newcomers battle royal! An
impressive outing for the South Dakota native, but let's not overlook some of the other top
performances in our opening contest here tonight.
Brewer: Well Perry Sanders put out a good effort, as did The Destroyer. Bone looked good,
but that masked man with the screwdriver certainly swayed the match in Cherokee's favor. It
looks like some of the established stars could soon have some new challengers nipping at their
heels.
Wood: I would be inclined to agree. I think there might even have been some future champions
right here before our eyes in the newcomers battle royal. We now take you to the highlights of
the first of three tag team tournament matches that the fans in the arena saw just before we came
on the air. Let's go to the tape.
MMP Tag Team Championship Tournament - Round Robin
Match
BEHOLDER & GOLIATH vs. UNFORGIVEN
Beholder and Goliath hit the ring quickly, going right after Knight and
Masters before the referee intervened and gained control of the match. Unforgiven kept
Beholder in their corner for a moment, but Beholder quickly tagged in the big man who went to
work on both of his opponents. Neither Knight or Masters put up much of a fight, and Knight
was quickly finished off by the Tormentation by Goliath for the three count.
Wood: So as you could see by that tape, Beholder and Goliath were
dominant earlier on this evening, finishing off Unforgiven in only a few short moments. Didn't
look like Gabriel or Archen had their A-game here tonight.
Brewer: Well neither of them could match up with Goliath. I was the one who always
questioned whether those two could hack it on a higher level. So far, things aren't looking too
good for them in this tournament.
Wood: It's now time for one of several hardcore matches on the lineup here tonight, a triple
threat match between Terminator, Bone, and The Bodyguard, whom we saw earlier on in the
arena tonight in tag team action. It's triple threat, and it's no disqualification, so let's go to the
ring!
No Disqualification Match
TERMINATOR vs. BONE vs. THE
BODYGUARD
With Bone already waiting in the ring, Terminator was introduced to a loud
ovation from the Denver crowd. Before the Michigan native could make it to the ring, The
Bodyguard came running out from the back with a steel chair and nailed Terminator in the back
of the head! Bone simply sat back in the ring and watched as Bodyguard capitalized on his
other opponent, nailing a suplex and a DDT on the concrete floor! Bodyguard then pulled out a
pair of brass knuckles and pounded Terminator all the way down to ringside before Bone rolled
out, grabbed a chair of his own, and nailed Bodyguard flush accross the back! Terminator
rolled into the ring and recovered in the corner while Bone continued to pound on
Bodyguard.
With Bodyguard on the floor, Bone stuck with the use of the steel chair as his main offense,
setting Bodyguard's leg against the ringpost and repeatedly pounding it with the chair!
Terminator soon rolled out of the ring and caught Bone in the back with a superkick that sent the
newcomer face first into the post. Terminator picked Bodyguard up off the floor and slammed
him headfirst into Bone before scooping him up in a bodyslam and ramming him headfirst into the
post. Terminator dumped Bodyguard to the side and went after Bone. With Bone slumped
against the safety rail, Terminator pressed his right foot accross Bone's throat, choking the life
out of his opponent who earlier in the night almost won the newcomers battle royal. Bodyguard
got back to his feet and came at Terminator, but he was caught with a belly to belly suplex into
the timekeeper's table.
With Terminator distracted by Bodyguard, Bone came back and caught him with a low blow.
All three men were slow to get up on the outside before gradually making it into the ring. The
three men all battled back and forth before Bone and Bodyguard sent Terminator down into a
corner fought with each other. With his two opponents distracted, Terminator went into his
trunks and pulled out a handful of napalm! Bone stepped to the outside to grab a chair, and
when Bodyguard turned around, Terminator nailed him in the face with the napalm!! Terminator
then set Bodyguard up for the Judgment Day Slam, but just before he could nail it, Bone got
back in and took Terminator down with a vicious chair shot to the back of the head!! Bone then
grabbed Bodyguard and nailed the Neighborhood Slam for the pinfall victory!!
Wood: What a wild match! Bone comes away with the victory, but it
looked for a while there like Terminator might be the man to get his hand raised. I guess the
earlier match up with No Remorse and the newcomers battle royal took a little too much out of
Bodyguard.
Brewer: I gotta say I think those men just grabbed some headlines for themselves with that
match. Both Bone and Terminator looked impressive, and could be in line for some higher
profile matches down the road. Bodyguard, I think, just went in too overmatched. It was his
third time in the ring in a little over an hour.
MMP Tag Team Championship Tournament - Round Robin
Match
NO REMORSE vs. DR. NO LIMIT & THE BODYGUARD
After Blitzkrieg and DNL battled it out in the early going, No Remorse
managed to get Bodyguard in the ring and isolate him from his partner, making quick tags and
double teaming whenever the opportunity presented itself. Blitzkrieg worked over Bodyguard's
legs while Whiplash focused on the head and neck of his opponent with DNL standing almost
helpless on the apron accross the ring. No Remorse started becoming more obvious with their
double team efforts, drawing DNL into the ring to help his partner. With the referee distracted
trying to get No Limit out of the ring, No Remorse nailed the Painful Demise! Whiplash
attacked DNL and the two men battled to the floor as Blitz covered Bodyguard for the win to
go to 3-0 in the tournament.
Wood: And with that win, No Remorse remained undefeated in the
tournament, one of only two remaining teams with a perfect record. The other unbeaten team,
Harbinger and The Destroyer, also saw action earlier on tonight. Let's show you how their
match with No Fear went down.
MMP Tag Team Championship Tournament - Round Robin
Match
HARBINGER & THE DESTROYER vs. NO FEAR
Harbinger and Destroyer controlled the match right from the start, with No
Fear never getting any kind of offense going during the contest. Harbinger used a fast paced
attack consisting of a variety of kicks and ariel moves to wear his opponents down, softening
them up for Destroyer's all-out power attack, nailing J. D. Jermaine with a suplex and a
powerbomb. Harbinger and Destroyer toyed with their opponents with relative ease before
Destroyer slapped on the Will Breaker to get a submission out of Jermaine to win the
match.
Wood: So, as we stand, No Remorse is tied with the team of Harbinger
and The Destroyer at the top of the tournament with 3-0 records and have to be considered the
two favorites to win the round robin portion of the tournament, although the duos of Beholder
and Goliath and DNL and The Bodyguard are each only one win behind at 2-1. What do the
other two teams have to do to get back on track?
Brewer: They should both give up right now. Neither team really seems into this tournament.
They should give their spots to teams that actually want to compete and that I actually want to
see.
Wood: Well, that's why we are having the round robin. Perhaps Unforgiven and No Fear will
get everything together by the time the elimination round comes along. It's time for our next
hardcore match, this one pitting two men who returned to the MMP over the past few weeks
after extended layoffs. These two men were scheduled to meet back on November 14, 1998,
but the match never took place due to an illness to Bobby Stone's mother. But tonight, we have
it for you so let's get to the ring for our next bout!
Falls Count Anywhere Match
"CORRUPT" JOHN KORSO vs.
TWISTED SOUL
John Korso came to the ring first, saying that he had brought Twisted Soul's
girlfriend with him. He then brought out a dirty hoe, waving the gardening tool in the air to a loud
chorus of boos. The Keeper then made his way down the aisle with a microphone. He
announced that Twist would be unable to make it to the match tonight, and that it was Korso's
lucky day since he would get to walk out with a forfeit victory. Just as Keeper was finishing his
speech, Twist lowered himself from the ceiling and came crashing down towards Korso. After
what happened on SNS last week, Korso was ready for him and caught Twist coming down
with a shot to the face with the metal end of the garden hoe!! This busted open a gash on
Twist's forehead as he hit the mat hard.
As Twist got up, Korso shattered the wooden end of the hoe over Twist's back before dumping
Twist out to the floor. Twist, wearing a spiked outfit, steel toed boots, and a pair of brass
knuckles, surprisingly got up quickly, grabbed a bat from Keeper, and attacked Korso's entire
body! With Korso injured, Twist tossed the bat aside and started using some kicks with his
steel toed boots to pound Korso to the floor. Twist went for a cover right in front of the
announcers' table, but Korso kicked out at two. The two men then fought into the crowd while
Keeper set up a table at ringside.
Twist got his bat back and took a swing at Korso, but John ducked the shot and kicked Twist
right between the legs! Korso moved in, but Twist returned the favor. The second shot,
however, came from a steel toed boot. A look of anguish could be seen on Korso's face from
all over the arena. Both men hit the ground as rowdy fans looked on from all sides of the fallen
wrestlers. Added security had to be called down to keep the fans from getting involved in the
match. The two men then battled back towards the ring, each man getting some shots in with
Twist's bat as they fought over the guardrail. Twist got in yet another low blow, this time with
the baseball bat, and set Korso on the table. He went for the Walking the Edge finisher, but
Korso blocked it and, out of nowhere, nailed the Hollow Point!! The two men crashed through
the table and Korso rolled his opponent over, covering Twist for the three count on the floor.
After the match, Korso went for the Corrupt Crossface, but before he could get it fully applied,
The Keeper came around and broke it up. Two additional referees came running out to
intervene before Korso and Keeper could go at it.
Wood: What a brutal contest! We have really seen some outstanding
hardcore action tonight, and we still have two hardcore matches to go! John Korso comes
away with a big victory tonight over Twisted Soul.
Brewer: Twist really carried that match for a while there, but I guess Korso was just waiting for
the right moment. Give credit to Twist, good effort tonight, but it just wasn't enough to get the
duke.
Wood: Now if you thought that was hardcore, we have what should be an outstanding match
coming your way next. After a couple of weeks out of the MMP, Psychotic Sam makes his
return to the ring tonight, going after his third championship as he meets Captain Patrick
O'Conner in a roofed steel cage match. We're into the home stretch here at WrestleStorm '99,
so let's get things underway!
MMP Universal Championship
Roofed Steel Cage
Match
CAPTAIN PATRICK O'CONNER (C) vs. PSYCHOTIC
SAM
Sam was waiting in the cage, having come to ringside by himself, as
O'Conner made his way down the aisle. Before O'Conner could get to the ring, Mr. Beumont
and The Saint came running out, Beumont hitting the champion over the head with a beer bottle
and Saint opening up his thermos labeled "Holy Water" and dumping it's scalding contents all
over the superstar from Amberghis Caye. Beumont was carrying a hockey bag, which he
tossed into the cage to Sam before Saint shoved O'Conner in under the bottom rope. The cage
door locked and the match was on. Sam immediately opened up the hockey bag, pulling out a
roll of barbed wire and tying O'Conner's arms to the ropes. The Saint and Beumont went back
into the aisle where they found O'Conner's coat which had a nightstick hidden inside. Sam
started choking O'Conner out along the ropes, but the Captain shot his right knee up, catching
Sam below the belt. O'Conner then wrestled his way free from the barbed wire and went after
Sam.
The Saint passed the nightstick into the cage to Sam, but O'Conner intercepted it. He nailed
Sam with a bodyslam followed by an elbowdrop before using the nightstick to jar Sam's front
teeth loose!! Blood poured out of Sam's mouth and his teeth could be seen barely hanging on
from his upper gums. Before doing anything else, O'Conner went over to the door of the cage
and added a second padlock for extra security. O'Conner picked up the offense, nailing Sam
with a series of kicks before taking him down with a double arm DDT which O'Conner called
the new and improved Psychotic Smash. The Captain then sent Sam into the corner and
followed him in with an avalanche before nailing a Death Valley Driver! Sam appeared on the
verge of his first ever hardcore singles defeat.
O'Conner seemed unstoppable, hitting Sam with a piledriver in the middle of the ring. O'Conner
then stood at Sam's head and shouted into his face "I TOLD DNL TO TAKE MARBELS!"
The Captain got a good laugh out of this and went to set Sam on the second rope for a
powerbomb, but Sam grabbed his opponent's head and rammed it four times into the steel cage.
O'Conner stumbled backwards and Sam hit the canvas. The challenger then rolled over to his
hockey bag and pulled out something else. O'Conner moved in, but Sam turned around quickly
and caught the champion in the forehead with Marbels!! The wooden base of the cat put the
Captain down. Sam, still lying on the mat, went back into the hockey bag and pulled something
else out, which he set down on the canvas. He then crawled over and tried to bite O'Conner's
ear, but the shots to the teeth that O'Conner delivered earlier made it impossible for Sam to
apply any pressure and simply dripped blood over the side of O'Conner's face. O'Conner
fought his way up and the two men traded blows back and forth as the crowd got to it's feet.
O'Conner tried an Irish whip on Sam, but the challenger reversed it and sent O'Conner off the
ropes. The champion stepped over the hockey bag, but upon landing he fell face first to the mat
in unbelievable pain. Sam pushed the bag aside to show that he had set up a bear trap that had
caught O'Conner's foot on the way past. With O'Conner trying desperately to free himself from
the trap, Sam pulled him up and nailed the Psychotic Smash onto Marbels before covering him
for the pin. Mr. Beumont flew into a drunken celebration on the outside as The Saint went over
to the timekeeper to grab the belt. The referee unlocked the original lock and cut off the second
one added by O'Conner and The Family made their way out with the Universal
Championship.
Wood: Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new Universal Champion!
Psychotic Sam has defeated Captain O'Conner, but I think the more pressing issue has to be the
condition of O'Conner's ankle after he caught it in Sam's bear trap.
Brewer: I don't know what has to happen before these freaks get run out of here for good.
Someone told me that Sam had been committed to some kind of revolutionary mental institution
where they hung patients upside down and patted them with fly swatters. I thought Sam had
finally found somewhere to belong. I don't know how the hell they ended up back here! The
career of a legitimate wrestling talent could be in jeopardy thanks to that band of
idiots.
Wood: That may well be the case, and we hope to have an update for you later on tonight on
the condition of Captain Patrick O'Conner, but the fact remains that we have seen a title change
here tonight. This could bode well for Dr. No Limit, who only moments from now goes back
after The Ghettoman, this time with the Midwestern Championship on the line. Let's go back to
the ring!
MMP Midwestern Championship Match
THE GHETTOMAN
(C) vs. DR. NO LIMIT
Before the participants could be introduced, Gemini Killer, who later tonight
would face Masochrist for the World Title, made his way down and joined Wood and Brewer
at the ringside announce position. Charlie Hustler was at Ghettoman's side as he went into his
first ever defense of the Midwestern Title against his biggest rival to date in the MMP. The two
men stood face to face in the middle of the ring, jawing back and forth before Ghettoman
quickly nailed the challenger with a facebuster at the opening bell!! From there, Ghetto went
right on the offense, kicking DNL into the corner where he stood firmly with both feet on the
side of the challenger's head. Ghetto hip tossed DNL to the middle of the ring and went to the
second rope where he nailed the New Orleans native with a flying splash. Ghetto went for the
cover, but DNL kicked out. DNL used the ropes to get back to his feet, but was clotheslined
over the top rope to the floor.
Ghettoman soon followed his opponent out, but DNL regrouped enough to catch Ghettoman
with a solid punch to the groin that doubled the champion over. Ghetto was staggered as DNL
got back to his feet and avalanched Ghettoman against the steel ring post. Ghetto went down,
his back feeling the effect of being crushed between the solid metal post and DNL's large frame.
The challenger tossed his opponent back in the ring and followed right behind without giving
Ghettoman a chance to regroup. DNL nailed a running legdrop before Ghettoman could get up
and appeared to be in control as the match moved along.
DNL kept the match at a slow pace, not tiring himself out but staying on Ghettoman and not
allowing the champion a chance to get up. DNL nailed a powerbomb followed by a Samoan
Drop before going to the second rope. He dove off with a short elbow drop, but Ghettoman
rolled out of the way and DNL crashed into the canvas! The referee started his ten count, but
both men were up by eight. The two rivals then stood toe to toe, exchanging rights and lefts in
the middle of the ring as the crowd got to it's feet. Ghetto sent DNL off the ropes, but DNL
ducked Ghetto's attack and came off the other side with a hurnacanrana. Ghetto, however,
caught DNL in mid air and turned the move into a powerbomb before applying the Ghetto
Fabulous!!!! DNL struggled towards the ropes, but just before it appeared DNL was going to
tap out, Clay Moore came running in from the crowd with a steel chair! He cracked Ghettoman
right accross the face, causing Ghetto to break the hold and the referee to ring the bell. He
awarded the match to Ghettoman by disqualification. Moore went for the House of Pain on
Ghetto, but Gemini Killer quickly jumped up and got in the ring, causing Moore to hit the floor.
The former GWF Commissioner grabbed a microphone and had a statement to make:
Moore: I've been watching your scraggin' ass for the past two months.
Over in the GWF and here. Talking crazy shank about only losing one time. Well guess what,
dawg? THAT ONE TIME IS BACK! Everyone thought I was paralyzed by Masochrist at that
shanking GWF pay-per-view. Well, here's a news flash. I haven't been just tossing toe cheese
since then. I've been in the gym, getting my spine back in shape and I'm a hundred percent and I
want your belt, dawg!
Gemini helped shake Ghetto back to consciousness as a furious DNL made
his way back to the dressing room. Clay Moore escaped through the crowd, drawing a loud
chorus of boos for interrupting the match.
Wood: What a surprise! Clay Moore has made his first MMP appearance
here at WrestleStorm '99! Many of the fans know about his past with many of the MMP
superstars, including The Ghettoman and Masochrist.
Brewer: Rumors had been kicking around about Clay Moore coming to the MMP for a couple
of weeks now, but I didn't know things had been finalized. This man was a top contender in the
GWF before that company shut down, and even held a front office position for a few weeks
over there.
Wood: Moore's interference overshadows what was an outstanding match between The
Ghettoman and Dr. No Limit, with Ghetto retaining his Midwestern Title, although I'm sure he
would have preferred it if Moore had not interfered and let him finish the match off himself.
Well, folks, the time is here to crown a new Extreme Champion. Twelve of the top stars in the
MMP are waiting outside the arena for the OK to begin the first ever Break-In Match. Let's
send it to the parking lot as we crown a new champion!
MMP Extreme Championship
BREAK-IN
MATCH
The Extreme Championship belt was sitting on a table in the middle of the
ring as the cameras cut to the parking lot outside the McNicholls Arena, where eleven top MMP
wrestlers were ready to do battle for the vacant title. XuMed was sitting on the roof of the
arena and threw a rock off the top at Christian Antamarius to get things underway. Everyone
started pairing off as a ratty old Beetle pulled up. The wrestlers stopped to see who it was, but
an old man in a janitor's outfit got out of the car, walked into the arena, and started cleaning the
floor by the concession stand. The wrestlers started up again. Wolverine nailed Ratzilla with a
Michigan Death Driver on the cement parking lot, splitting open a large gash on the top of the
rookie's head. XuMed soon made his way down from the roof and went after Terminator, who
met him with a shot to the head with a lead pipe. The Destroyer, the UCW Extreme Champion,
immediately took a sledgehammer and shattered the doors to the arena, sending glass flying
everywhere before exchanging the hammer for a metal trash can and going after Goliath.
Beholder, cricket bat in hand, went after Wolverine, who took a couple of shots with the bat
before slamming Beholder into the side of a dumpster. The Ryno battled briefly with DNL, but
soon gave up and walked out of the match, letting Twisted Soul, still wearing his spiked outfit
from earlier in the night, attack DNL, who was wearing a large trenchcoat.
Terminator and Wolverine soon ganged up on XuMed, knocking him nearly unconscious and
then depositing him in a dumpster. The Michigan Outlaws then battled Beholder and Goliath
while DNL pulled a tire iron out from under his trenchcoat and nailed Twist in the head before
making his way up the fire exit. Goliath, with a barbed wire baseball bat in hand, took out
Terminator while his partner Beholder fought with Wolverine near a production truck. With
Destroyer having smashed out the doors, getting into the arena was easier than anticipated.
Twisted Soul and Destroyer started into the arena. Still using the metal trash can, Destroyer
battled Twist, who grabbed a chair from a nearby rack, and battled back against his much larger
opponent. Suddenly, the janitor who was cleaning up the concession stands nailed Destroyer
over the head with a metal mop! The janitor pulled off his John Deere hat and white beard to
reveal it was Gemini Killer!! Gemini grabbed his mop bucket and dumped the cleaning solution
right in Destroyer's face, blinding him long enough for Gemini to make his way out of the lobby
and into the arena while Twist, wearing a climbing harness, started climbing up to the
balcony.
Twist was up at the top of the arena climbing towards the rafters when suddenly Dr. No Limit,
who earlier entered the arena by way of the fire escape, grabbed him from behind and the two
men fought amongst the fans! They started making their way down through the crowd towards
the ring, but Gemini Killer was left along in the runway towards the ring. Suddenly, a hearse
came driving in through the zamboni entrance of the arena. The hearse was being driven by
Mack, with Ryno sitting on the roof wrapped in barbed wire!! Ryno got off the car and charged
towards the ring, but he was cut off by Gemini. Gemini was still carrying his mop bucket and
Ryno was wearing brass knuckles on both hands. The two men battled back and forth, getting
in numerous shots with their respective foreign objects as Twisted Soul and DNL came ever
closer to the ring. Ryno stole Gemini's bucket away from him and gave him a hard shot to the
face with it before dragging his opponent into the ring. Before grabbing the belt, Ryno took a
moment to give Gemini a Ryno Charge over the top rope!! Just before Ryno could turn around
and pick up the championship, The Ghettoman came out from under the ring wearing a set of
brass knuckles of his own. He spun Ryno around and gave him two shots to the forehead
before throwing him over the top rope! Ghetto quickly rolled Gemini back into the ring. DNL
and Twist hurried down to ringside, but Gemini was unopposed in the ring. He reached up and
grabbed the belt just as DNL hopped the guardrail to win the match.
Wood: We have a new MMP Extreme Champion, and he is Gemini Killer!
What an outstanding match here at WrestleStorm '99!! That could have been an early candidate
for the match of the year for 1999 in the MMP!
Brewer: Sure, big win for Gemini Killer, but take a look to your left, Wood.
Wood: Well, it seems that Masochrist isn't going to wait. The World Champion is on his way to
the ring, and it's time for the main event. As Ghettoman joins us here at ringside, let's go to the
final match of the evening!
MMP World Championship Match
MASOCHRIST (C) vs.
GEMINI KILLER
Masochrist came to the ring pushing a dumpster down the aisle, even though
this was not a no disqualification match. Not letting Gemini have any chance to get regrouped,
Maso slammed him twice into the dumpster in spite of warnings that he would be disqualified if
he didn't let up. The cameras panned the arena, seeing more than 20, 000 fans on their feet for
the main event, including Cherokee and The Shaman who were watching from the balcony.
Before long, Super Cupid came running down the aisle and pulled a table out from under the ring
which he set on top of the dumpster. Masochrist rolled Gemini Killer into the ring, but
Ghettoman intercepted Cupid before he could get any shots in on Gemini. Rather than going
after his opponent, Masochrist grabbed the referee and powerbombed him through the table and
down into the dumpster!!!! With Gemini struggling to get to his feet, Maso went to the floor and
helped Super Cupid attack Ghettoman with a steel chair. A second referee came running in
from the back and stopped the match, awarding it to Gemini Killer by disqualification for
attacking the first official. The crowd's boos were deafening as a livid Gemini Killer got his hand
raised in a reluctant victory. Gemini, the new Extreme Champion, was livid and went down to
the floor to help out Ghettoman as the screen fades to black from WrestleStorm '99 in
Denver.
