MMP Suicidal September
MMP Suicidal September is on the air! Commentators Jerry Wood and "All
American" Ray Brewer are seated at ringside at the sold out Gund Arena in Cleveland,
OH.
Wood: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to MMP Suicidal September!! I'm
Jerry Wood along with Ray Brewer where tonight we will see twelve action-packed matches
featuring the best of the best in the MMP, including three title matches and four hardcore
matches. One man who will be involved in one of each is The Regulator.
Brewer: I give a lot of credit to Regulator. He knew he was going to have to face Ouija
Lullabye here tonight in the first round of the Extreme Championship tournament, but when the
shot at Ryno's Universal Championship came up, he wouldn't let it pass him by. This could be a
huge night for Onyx Cooper here in Cleveland.
Wood: Your respect for Regulator wouldn't be based on the fact that he took your side in your
little feud with Pitbull, would it?
Brewer: Hey, the man simply spoke his mind. I haven't had any contact with Regulator on that
subject. I guess he just has respect for the men who helped make this sport what it is
today.
Wood: As I said, we have an action packed lineup tonight. Aries defends the MMP World
Championship against Diamond King, but DK must first go through a Chicagoland Massacre
match against both "Massacre" Mark Allyn and DK's longtime rival Mr. Marvellous. We will
also see the long awaited return match between Blitzkrieg and West Law for the Midwestern
Championship. And let's not forget the long awaited return to the ring of Ace Manley, taking the
first step on the comeback trail as he steps into the ring a couple of hours from now against
Machine Head. Our first match will be a first round contest in the Extreme Championship
tournament. We learned earlier this week that Christian Antamarius had been awarded a bye in
the first round by virtue of Wasted Youth's resignation from the MMP, so we have only the one
match between The Regulator and Ouija Lullabye. The wheel was spun earlier this afternoon,
and it determined this contest to be a Dungeon Match, held at an abandonned factory accross
the river. Let's send you to our camera crew at the Dungeon Match!
MMP Extreme Championship Tournament - 1st Round
Dungeon
Match
THE REGULATOR vs. OUIJA LULLABYE
As the camera focused in on the empty building where the match would take place, Mystery
Man and Unstable Friend were spotted sitting on the roof of the factory. The rules for the match
are simple. There is a large table in the middle of the room, with shackles located in opposite
corners of the structure. Anything goes, with the only way to win being to chain your opponent
in the shackles. Ouija walked tentatively into the building, not knowing exactly what to expect in
this type of match. He found out quickly what the Dungeon Match was all about, as Regulator,
who was already waiting inside, dove off the table and hit him in the forehead with Loui Slugger!
The Regulator had vowed to dominate everybody in the tournament, and he did just that in the
early part of this match. With Ouija lying on the hard, cold pavement of the factory floor,
Regulator went back up on the table and hit his opponent with a series of forearm drops, with
Loui serving as his forearm!! Ouija was busted open almost immediately, but Regulator would
not let up. With Ouija sprawled on the floor, Regulator then focused his attack on Ouija's hand,
making it almost impossible for Lullabye to use his finisher, the Iron Claw. Regulator obviously
had Ouija well scouted, whereas Lullabye seemed like a chicken running around with his head
cut off. As the bloodied Congregation member stumbled back to his feet, Regulator got up on
the table once again. Lullabye made it back to a vertical base, only to be met with Regulator
diving off the table and nailing an Edge that rocked Lullabye's head off the concrete floor!!
Cheers from the arena could be heard over the PPV telecast as Regulator stood over his badly
beaten opponent. Dragging Ouija's decimated body by one limp arm, Regulator pulled his
opponent to one of the corners and was able to easily shackle him to the wall for the victory.
The Regulator wins the Dungeon Match. After pausing for
only a brief moment to appreciate his victory, Regulator stormed out of the building and hopped
into a waiting MMP car to take him back to the arena, leaving Lullabye's beaten body hanging
from the wall of the abandonned factory.
Wood: I guess when Regulator said he was going to run through the
competition in this tournament, that is what he meant!
Brewer: Now can you give this guy some credit? That's exactly what I was talking about during
the opening. And since Lullabye hardly gave him any competition, Regulator figures to be in
good shape for his match later on against Ryno.
Wood: It's now time for the Chicagoland Massacre match between "Massacre" Mark Allyn,
Diamond King, and Mr. Marvellous. This match has been building for quite some time. Allyn
blames DK for costing him a match with Super Cupid at the beginning of the summer, and any
longtime fan of this business knows the history between Diamond King and Marvellous. Just to
even things out, you will remember that Allyn defeated Mr. Marvellous only a few short weeks
ago on SNS. There's no love lost here, so let's send it to the ring.
Chicagoland Massacre Match
"MASSACRE" MARK ALLYN
vs. DIAMOND KING vs. MR. MARVELLOUS
Marvellous, introduced first, was joined as usual by his bodyguard, the
MMP World Champion, Aries. Surprisingly, Aries walked out on his own accord before the
match could even start. As Allyn was being introduced, DK appeared on the giant television
screen and announced that he would not be participating tonight so that he could have extra time
to prepare for the title match. Allyn was livid, shouting something at the screen before charging
the ring and going right at Marvellous. The leader of High Society was ready for him, however,
as Marvellous caught Allyn with a DDT as he came into the ring. Not waiting for Allyn to get
up, Marvellous tossed the "Massacre Man" out of the ring and took the action to the
stands.
Allyn fought back, catching Marvellous with a series of hard punches as Marvellous tried to drag
him through the aisle. With the shorter man staggered, Allyn stole a cup of hot coffee from a fan
and tossed it in Marvellous' eyes. As Marvellous struggled to regain his vision, Allyn stole a
chair from another fan and proceeded to beat Marvellous over the head with it! The action
continued up the aisle, into the lobby of the arena. The two men battled towards the concession
stand, and the fans scattered as they saw the action coming. Allyn tossed Marvellous over the
counter and followed him into the kitchen area. Allyn picked up a popcorn machine and
shattered it over Marvellous' back, sending the Canadian to the floor. Allyn went for the cover,
but Marvellous kicked out at two. The referee was forced to defend his count against an
angered Allyn, who got right in his face as Marvellous used some nearby appliances to help
himself to his feet. Allyn turned around to find Marvellous back up, and Marvellous grabbed
Allyn by the hair and slammed his face into the burner on the stove!! Allyn was stunned, and
Marvellous went for an inside cradle, but Allyn was able to kick out at two. With Allyn still
stinging from the burner shot, Marvellous pulled him out of the concession stand and tossed him
through a plate glass window out to the parking lot!!
As the action continued, a luxury car drove up and clipped Allyn from behind. The driver
stepped out, and it was Aries! Allyn flew up in the air before crashing down to the concrete!
Aries waited for Allyn to get up before spraying him in the face with mace!! Allyn stumbled
backwards, only to find himself caught in the Marvellous lock!! Allyn, vision impaired and all,
fought the hold, but could not break up. He refused to give up in spite of the pain that was
flowing through his body. Aries further helped Marvellous by walking into the building and
grabbing a pot of hot grease from the frier at the concession stands. The referee saw what was
happening, pulled the pot away from Aries and tossed it to the ground. Allyn was still in the
Marvellous Lock, but had still not surrendered. The referee asked repeatedly, but Allyn would
not give him the answer he was looking for. After a few moments, the official checked Allyn's
arms. When it fell for the third time, the referee signalled into the arena that the match was over.
Mr. Marvellous wins by knockout. Upon hearing the
announcement, Marvellous broke the hold and jumped up in celebration. He kicked Allyn on
the way out before getting into the car with Aries and driving away.
Wood: What a match! Allyn and Marvellous gave it their all in that match,
and I think you have to classify that as something of an upset that Marvellous was able to beat
Allyn in his own match!
Brewer: I think you have to classify it as an upset that Marvellous won any match at all! I
remember when Marvellous was in GX. Diamond King and I used to joke about him all the
time. I'm surprised Marvellous turned out to be any more than a horseshit shoveler like his old
man!
Wood: That's absurd! Marvellous is a talented athlete who has held the MMP Tag Team
Championship. You should stop buying into DK's press. Speaking of Diamond King, our next
match will feature GX member Jamaal stepping into the ring to go one on one with the massive
Orion. Don't expect anything fancy here, folks. Let's go to the ring!
JAMAAL vs. ORION
With Bionic Pipe barred from ringside for the match, Orion came to the ring
alone. As Jamaal and Sudan Stan made their way out, the cameras spotted two small children
joining the GX duo. Jamaal got in the ring and told the children, obviously from Sudan, that
Orion was responsible for bombing their village and killing their parents. The children started to
cry and attacked Orion. The blows from the youngsters had absolutely no effect on the big man,
but they did distract both Orion and the referee, allowing Stan to hand Jamaal a steel chair which
he used to hit Orion twice in the head!! The referee rang the bell to start the match as Orion
slumped to the mat.
Jamaal ordered the children away from ringside as Orion used the turnbuckles to help him get
back to his feet. The two men then met up in the middle of the ring, exchanging rights and lefts
back and forth with neither man getting a decisive advantage. The fans started a chant of "bor-
ing" as the men brawled with each other at an extremely slow pace. With the match seemingly
going nowhere, Timber Wolf made his way down to the ring. One of Orion's opponents on the
next edition of SNS, the man's intentions remained a mystery as he came down to ringside.
Wolf got up on the apron to get the referee's attention as Orion jabbed Jamaal in the eye before
walking over to his corner and picking up the chair that Jamaal had used earlier in the
match.
Orion wound up to hit Jamaal, but Sudan Stan was in the ring and grabbed the chair before
Orion could swing it. Orion simply swung the chair sideways, sending Stan flying accross the
ring and over the top rope! The fans cheered as the GX manager landed hard on the concrete
floor. The distraction, however, allowed Jamaal to shake off the effects of Orion's previous
cheap shot and plant a knee in his opponent's back. Jamaal then applied a reverse headlock on
Orion and hoisted him up for the Sudan Slam, driving the 400+ pounder's head down hard into
the mat. Jamaal then stood up, pushed the referee aside and gave Wolf a forearm shot that sent
him to the floor before covering Orion. The referee got up, turned back to the match, and
counted the three. Jamaal wins by pinfall. Timber Wolf
got back to his feet and walked to the dressing room as Jamaal left the ring to attend to his
manager. Wolf and Jamaal stared each other down as the two men simultaneously walked back
to the locker room.
Wood: Well, I don't think the fans really cared for that match, but I think it
was a match that had to happen eventually.
Brewer: Just keep in mind, Wood, that what the fans think means about as much as a cigarette
butt on the sidewalk. I think that match decided who really was the supreme big man in the
MMP, and it's clearly Jamaal.
Wood: I wonder how much class it takes to exploit the troubles in your homeland just to get a
little attention for your wrestling career. Anyhow, let's just go to our next match. It will be
MMP First Class member Back Lash stepping into the ring against a close ally of the Odd
Couple, Bionic Pipe. Pipe hasn't been in the ring for months, so it should be interesting to see
how well the 6'8", 300 pound athlete does after such a long layoff. Let's get to the
action!
BACK LASH vs. BIONIC PIPE
With Back Lash waiting in the ring, Orion, Pot Head, and a man in a mask
made their way down towards the ring leading Bionic Pipe down the aisle. Pipe went on the
attack immediately, using a series of quick shots to the legs and back of his opponent. Back
Lash struggled to get some offense going, but for some reason just couldn't get the momentum of
the match to go his way. Pipe just kept hammering his opponent into the canvas, and showed
no signs of letting up. After a few moments, the referee stepped in and ordered Pipe to let up
long enough to allow Back Lash to get back to his feet. As Lash did so, Pipe ran the ropes and
nailed him with a running forearm shot!! Pipe made the cover and, much to the surprise of the
sellout crowd, got the three count! Bionic Pipe wins by pinfall. Pipe lept to his feet and errupted with elation at the announcement that he had
won the match. The three men on the outside all tapped Pipe's forearm and raised it high in the
air as they walked out, leaving the referee to help Back Lash back to consciousness.
Wood: My God that was fast! Not only did Bionic Pipe, a bodyguard,
defeat Back Lash, a wrestler, he did it in almost record time!
Brewer: There must be something in that forearm that we can't see. The only other guy in
wrestling who ever had that kind of force behind a running forearm shot had his arm full of metal.
They need to check that guy out!
Wood: Be that as it may, it will go down as a victory for Bionic Pipe. Our next match will be a
first in the MMP, as we will see a ladies match between Peaches from 7th House and Bambi
from MMP First Class. This should prove very interesting.
Brewer: I'm going to take a piss. Womens wrestling is boring! I wish people would finally learn.
Women belong wrestling in jello and mud, not a ring. I'll see ya later.
Wood: I think that was uncalled for, but Ray is entitled to his opinion. Let's go to the
ring!
PEACHES vs. BAMBI
Bambi waited in the ring with The Pimp as Peaches came out joined by West
Law and "The Demented" xXx. Peaches was dressed in a martial arts outfit, as she was well
known for her background in many forms of combat. Right from the start, it was obvious that
Bambi was out of her league. Peaches started out by using a variety of martial arts kicks and
chops, moves for which Bambi had no counter. The manager from 7th House whipped her
opponent from pillar to post, showing nothing but disdain for her opponent. The referee
intervened for a moment, ordering Peaches to let up, but she would have nothing of it. Peaches
pulled Bambi up off the mat and sat her on the top turnbuckle. The fans watched on as Peaches
climbed up after her opponent and executed a textbook hurnacanrana!! The fans cheered in
amazement that Peaches was able to hit such a move. Bambi hit the mat hard as Peaches got
up, ran the ropes, and hit a big legdrop for the cover and the three count. Peaches wins by pinfall. The 7th House members on the outside
held the ropes open for their manager as a frustrated Pimp pounded the apron on the other side
of the ring. The victorious trio walked out to a loud chorus of cheers as Pimp argued with the
official in the ring.
Street Fight
GABRIEL KNIGHT vs. THE
PIMP
With Pimp still in the ring with Bambi, Knight and Archen Masters came
down the aisle and demanded that the street fight get underway immediately. Pimp, still furious
at the result of the previous match accepted and immediately attacked Knight as he got in the
ring. Pimp's lack of focus on the match was evident right from the start, with Knight slowing the
pace down to frustrate Pimp even further. Knight kept his attack deliberate, focusing on his
opponent's neck with a variety of moves ranging from a DDT to a piledriver to a swinging
neckbreaker. Pimp tried to get the match moving more quickly, but Knight refused to play that
game, keeping things at a deliberate tempo and forcing Pimp to make unwise decisions that
allowed Knight to set up more offensive moves. After taking Pimp down with a brainbuster
suplex, Masters tossed Knight a steel chair from the outside, which Knight opened and set in the
middle of the ring. Pimp charged at Knight, but Gabriel caught him and nailed a hotshot against
the top turnbuckle that rocked Pimp's head back in a whiplash-like motion. Knight then picked
up his stunned opponent and set him on the top rope. Climbing up behind his opponent, Knight
scooped Pimp up in position and nailed a tombstone piledriver off the top rope onto the chair!!!
Knight made the cover and hooked the leg as the ref counted to three. Gabriel
Knight wins by pinfall. Bambi was just struggling to her feet on the outside to
find that her man had already been beaten. Knight and Masters were not done yet, as they each
grabbed one of Pimp's legs and dragged him to the back. Cameras followed the two men as
they dragged Pimp down to the basement of the arena. Knight bodyslammed Pimp on the floor
in a room in the basement as Masters grabbed a roll of extension cord. The two men tied Pimp
to a pipe and walked out, locking the door behind him.
Wood: Tonight just has not been a good night for MMP First Class, topped
off by their leader not only losing a street fight to Gabriel Knight, but finding himself tied up in the
basement of Gund Arena! As Ray makes his way back to the announce position, let's give you
some background information on our next match for those of you with a short attention span. It
was...
Brewer: Shut up, Wood. Let me do the talking. Why don't you go get me a beer or something,
and not just some cheap swill like Pitbull drinks. I want name brand brew. Anyhow, this next
match stretches back to the Apocalypse in Arizona PPV, when Soul Crusher and his late
brother Diablo took on Psychotic Sam and Mike the Giant Retard. It was in the Junkyard
Match where Hell's Fury tore the head off of Sam's dead cat Marbels. After a few weeks away
from the MMP, Sam is back and has vowed to get revenge on Hell's Fury for what happened,
so now we have a Hot Coals match to hopefully settle this once and for all. The ring ropes will
be replaced with barbed wire, and the ring surrounded with beds of hot coals. We're ready, so
send 'em on out!
Hot Coals Match
PSYCHOTIC SAM vs. SOUL
CRUSHER
Soul Crusher came out first, his first match since the loss of his brother
Diablo only days ago. Sam came running to the ring, carrying Marbels and wearing insulated
gloves. Sam tossed Marbels in the ring and grabbed a handful of coals which he threw into the
ring at Soul Crusher! Crusher suffered some mild burns on his shoulder before Sam got in the
ring and hit the German leader of Hell's Fury with Marbels' wooden base! Crusher was sent
down to one knee, but it gave Sam the opening he was looking for. Grabbing a piece of
equipment that the ring crew had left at ringside during the setup for the match, Sam snapped off
a section of barbed wire from the ropes and used it to choke Soul Crusher down! Crusher was
gasping for air as Sam laughed madly and shouted nonsense about Soul Crusher killing Marbels.
As Crusher neared the point of unconsciousness, Sam grabbed his wire cutters for a second
time, this time cutting all the wire off from one side of the ring. He then pulled Crusher over and
stood him on the edge of the ring apron before nailing a Psychotic Smash off the apron and onto
the coals!!! Sam laughed loudly as he quickly jumped over and covered Crusher, back first on
the coals, for the three count. Psychotic Sam wins by pinfall. Sam jumped back in the ring and celebrated with Marbels, showing signs of
some violent burns on his back. A group of EMTs came running down to the ring with a
stretcher to help Crusher out. He was immediately rushed to the local hospital for
observation.
Wood: Psychotic Sam has been on a mission ever since he returned to the
MMP, and it looks like he was successful in avenging what he felt Soul Crusher did to Marbels
at our last PPV.
Brewer: That guy is dangerous, Wood. He belongs in a home, not in a wrestling ring. They
need to send him back to that rubber room where he was living a few weeks ago!
Wood: We will try and get an update on Soul Crusher's condition before we go off the air but,
as they say, the show must go on! It's time for the big comeback match as Ace Manley steps
into a wrestling ring for the first time in nearly two months, his first match since a tragic
motorcycle accident nearly took his life back in early August. Will Machine Head be the first
victim of the new Ace Manley, or will it be Machine Head to put Ace back in a wheelchair. I've
been told that Ace is only at about 90% going into the ring tonight. I guess we will now in only a
few short moments. Let's go to the ring!
ACE MANLEY vs. MACHINE HEAD
Controversy was the focal point of the early part of the match. Machine
Head and Blitzkrieg came to the ring first, but Mac immediately got on the mic and told Blitz to
leave. The two men were embroiled in a heated argument before Blitz walked out. Much to the
delight of the fans, Mac threw the mic at Blitz as he headed back down the aisle and hit him in
the back. Blitz made an obscene gesture towards his partner and headed directly to the dressing
room. After a few moments, "Rhythmeen" by ZZ Top played as Ace Manley walked to the ring
for the first time since the Apocalypse in Arizona PPV card, and he was not alone. Ace was
joined by the man who had been helping him through his recovery, the massive Gargantuan!!!
Machine Head was shocked as the two men stepped into the ring to a loud ovation. The referee
immediately instructed Gargantuan to the floor, and the big man did not object. After all the
fanfare leading up to Manley's return to the ring, the time was finally at hand.
Ace Manley played it safe during the early part of the match, staying near the ring ropes and
keeping the match at a deliberate pace. As the two men engaged for the first time, The Ryno
made his way to ringside and took a seat with Wood and Brewer at ringside for some
commentary. Machine Head took the early advantage over Ace, turning the initial lock-up into a
solid belly-to-belly suplex. The shock of his first hard takedown of his comeback shook Ace up
for a moment but, with the aid of the ropes, he was able to get back to his feet. A look of
concern was evident on the collective faces of the fans in attendance, and on the faces of Ryno
and Gargantuan at ringside. Ace employed a hit and run strategy for most of the match,
protecting his injured neck and leg against Machine's attack. Manley went on the offense almost
reluctantly, using a series of elementary takedowns to keep Machine off his feet. After each
move, Ace went for a basic lateral press. Machine easily kicked out, but these tactics allowed
Ace to catch his breath while frustrating his opponent.
After a pin attempt out of a fireman's carry takeover, Machine reversed the move into a single
leg grapevine. Ace struggled frantically to the ropes to break the hold, but it appeared as though
the move may have done more damage than usual as Manley had a great deal of difficulty getting
back to his feet. Machine kept the attack up, frequently kicking Ace's legs out from under him
and making him expend a great deal of energy to simply get to his feet. Ace had put forward a
valiant effort, but it seemed as though his comeback was over. Machine slowly pulled Ace off
the mat and lifted him in the air for his new move, The Finisher. Ace was playing possum! He
slid down Machine's back, kicked him in the stomach and hit a DDT. Both men were laying on
their back as the crowd got to it's feet. The time had come for Ace Manley to really show how
far he had come. Machine got back to his feet and whipped Ace into the turnbuckle. Mac
charged the corner, but Ace sidestepped him and sent Machine crashing into the corner pad!
Mac's head snapped back in a whiplash like motion and Ace got his second wind. Acting
quickly, he set Mac on the top turnbuckle and delivered the Manley Neck Drop!!! The move
came out of nowhere. The crowd jumped to it's feet, as did Ryno at ringside. Gargantuan
flashed an eye toward the entrance way, but no one was coming. Ace made the cover, hooked
the leg, and got the three count! Ace Manley wins by pinfall. As the announcement was made, Ryno tossed his headset aside and joined Ace
and Gargantuan in the ring in celebration. Manley slumped to his knees, but got back up and
grabbed Machine around his neck and pulled him right face to face. Ace filled his mouth with
spit and motioned as if he was going to spit in Machine's face, but he swallowed it and let
Machine fall back to the mat, saying that Machine Head was not even worth his spit. Ryno and
Gargantuan helped Ace back to the dressing room to a loud ovation from the fans.
Wood: The comeback was successfull! Ace Manley has returned, better
than ever!
Brewer: Hell, Wood, I think I could beat Machine Head. I think his big mistake came when he
tossed Blitz out of here!
Wood: I don't think you could beat anybody competing in the MMP. These are the finest
athletes in the business. You're really starting to get big headed about this thing with Pitbull. Let
it go, Ray. It's now time for your good friend The Regulator to make his second appearance of
the night as he goes after his tenth victory in the MMP against no losses as well as the Universal
Championship held by The Ryno. Let's go to the ring!
MMP Universal Championship Match
THE RYNO (C) vs. THE
REGULATOR
The sound of The Imperial March filled the arena as Regulator came to the
ring, lead by a group of men dressed in cloaks and hoods. His battle mask was in place, and
Loui Slugger in his hand. The challenger stepped into the ring, nodded in Ray Brewer's
direction, and awaited his second opponent of the night. KoRn's "It's On" played over the
sound system as Ryno and Stoned Austin Page came out from the dressing room, Ryno carrying
his belt, wearing a long, black trenchcoat over his wrestling gear, and SAP carrying some signs.
He flashed the first one at the camera. It read "The Ryno - The Only People's Champ in the
MMP". Ryno stepped into the ring and the bell sounded to open the match as SAP flashed
another sign reading "Lodi is a SAP". Regulator went right after the champ, hitting a quick leg
lariat that took the bigger man to the mat. Ryno rolled back, got back to his feet and
recomposed himself before going back after his opponent. This time, Ryno used his size and
power advantage raining a flurry of punches and kicks on his smaller opponent, sending
Regulator back into a corner. SAP was still running around at ringside, but this seemed to be a
distraction for Ryno, who ordered him back to the locker room. SAP grabbed his signs and
walked out as Ryno continued his attack.
When Regulator got back to his feet, Ryno used the same type of offense and again and was
again successful in sending Regulator to the mat. With his opponent staggered, Ryno surprised a
lot of people and went to the top rope, leaping off with a corkscrew plancha as his opponent got
to his feet! The crowd cheered at the new move, the fans obviously impressed that Ryno was
so agile for a man of his size. Regulator was more stunned than hurt, as he got up quickly and
took down Ryno with a pair of standing dropkicks. The match went back and forth throughout,
with both men hitting some high impact moves, but his opponent responding with a move of his
own. The men battled furiously as SAP made his way back to ringside with more
signs.
Ryno was momentarily distracted by SAP's return, and this gave Regulator the opening he was
looking for. Regulator came up behind his opponent and applied a full nelson! Struggling to pull
Ryno back to the middle of the ring, Regulator tightened his grip on the champion, but Ryno
refused to quit. After a few moments with his opponent in the hold, Regulator wore tired of the
move and turned it into a full nelson slam!! He made the cover, but Ryno kicked out after two.
Seeing that his friend was in trouble, SAP jumped up on the apron with a sign saying "The Ref is
Gay"! The two wrestlers got back to their feet at the same time. Regulator went for it all, trying
to hit an Edge bulldog off the ropes, but Ryno ducked and sent Regulator to the floor!! The
distracted referee, arguing with SAP to get down and leave the arena, was oblivious to what
was going on in the match. As the challenger got back to his feet and into the ring, Ryno went
over to the corner, grabbed Loui Slugger, and set it in the middle of the ring. Reg stepped back
through the ropes as Ryno took off his large trenchcoat and tossed it in the challenger's face.
Temporarily blinded, Regulator was left prone to Ryno as the champion picked him up and
nailed a Ryno Charge on Loui Slugger!!! Ryno kicked the bat to the outside and rolled
Regulator up as SAP got off the apron. The official turned around to see Ryno making the
cover and counted to three. The Ryno wins by pinfall.
The champ rolled quickly out of the ring, grabbing his trenchcoat as SAP claimed the Universal
Championship on the way back to the dressing room.
Wood: Well, Ray, it looks like your friend The Regulator didn't quite get it
done after all.
Brewer: I don't know what your problem is, Wood. I've told you, I have not had any contact
with Regulator. I respect him as a competitor, and he obviously respects me for what I
accomplished in the wrestling ring and on the gridiron. Leave it at that!
Wood: Is that the story you're sticking with? I must say I've known you to be less than truthful
in the past. Anyhow, it's time for the big Falls Count Anywhere match between Virus Richards
and Pot Head. Remember, if Virus wins, Pot Head must check into rehab for thirty days. If Pot
Head wins, however, Virus must give him $300 cash. Let's go to the ring!
Falls Count Anywhere Match
VIRUS RICHARDS vs. POT
HEAD
Pot Head came out for the match alone, after Bionic Pipe was barred
from ringside. Virus Richards came out with Jamaal as usual, but was also joined by Sudan Stan
who was carrying a briefcase. Virus got on the mic, saying that he had Pot's $300. He
motioned to Stan to open the case and revealed $300 American dollars - in Sudanese currency!
Fans about ringside started to laugh as Stan closed the case and handed it to Virus, allowing him
to hit Pot Head with it to open the match. Virus took the advantage he had created for himself
and didn't let up. Jamaal grabbed a chair from the timekeeper's table and tossed it in to Virus,
who set the chair on Pot's face and nailed a running legdrop onto the steel!! Pot's nose
shattered from the blow and the smaller man shuddered in pain, but was able to get back up and
go on the offense.
Pot used his luchadore style to keep ahead of his larger opponent, coming at Virus with an array
of high flying moves, followed by a hurnacanrana that sent Virus over the top rope to the floor.
The match continued on the outside, with Pot slamming Virus' head back and forth between the
safety rail and the ringpost. After a post shot, Pot Head tried a small package, but Virus was
able to kick out after only a count of one. Trying to get back to his feet, Virus reached up with a
forearm and hit Pot below the belt. With Pot doubled over, Virus grabbed the ring steps and
slammed them into Pot's back. Virus the picked Pot up and hit a powerbomb on the floor and
made the cover, but this time Pot Head was able to kick out.
Virus pulled Pot down the aisle as the match continued towards the dressing room. He tried to
straddle Pot on the guardrail, but Pot kicked off and hit Virus with a bulldog onto the concrete
floor. With Pot Head seemingly in control, Blitzkrieg made his way down the aisle. He stopped
a few feet before getting to the action to observe, as Pot worked on Virus' back with a series of
shots using the safety rail for leveredge. The referee soon came over to order Blitz to the back,
but the Midwestern Champion argued that he hadn't done anything. The referee concurred, and
allowed Blitz to stand by as the two men fought in the aisle. Virus then gave Pot another low
blow. This time, the referee stepped in and told Virus to stop with the illegal shots, but Virus
referred to the no-DQ clause in the contract. While Richards and the official argued, Blitz pulled
a lead pipe out of his trunks and hit Pot Head in the face with it. Virus shoved the official down
and nodded in approval at Blitz as he grabbed Pot's legs and applied The Plague!!! Blitz
continued to kick Pot in the head as the referee asked him if he wanted to surrender. When Pot
didn't answer, the referee ran back to the ring and ordered that the bell be rung. Virus Richards wins by knockout. Virus simply glared at Blitz
and nodded on his way back to the dressing room. Jamaal and Stan walked back, also nodding
at Blitz and kicking Pot on their way back. Stan opened the briefcase and handed Blitz one of
the bills of Sudanese currency. Blitz shouted in Pot's face, sarcastically wishing him best of luck
in rehab before tearing up the bill and tossing the shreds on Pot as he tried to walk away.
Suddenly, West Law came running out from the crowd. He called Blitz to the ring, and the
Midwestern Champion was more than willing to oblige.
MMP Midwestern Championship Match
BLITZKRIEG (C) vs. WEST
LAW
Both men were out alone for the match as the action got underway. Blitz
tried to get the match going at a fast pace, but Law kept him down, working on his right knee
with a variety of submission holds such as a figure-four leglock and an Indian Deathlock. The
champion managed to counter each of these moves, but the damage was done right from the
start. West Law then took his attack to the air, hitting Blitz with a legdrop from the top rope.
Going for the quick win, Law made the cover, but Blitz was able to kick out at two. Law then
slowed the pace once again, putting Blitz in a punishing Camel Clutch.
Blitz screamed in pain from the hold, but managed to slide backwards enough that his feet
reached under the bottom rope. The referee tapped Law on the shoulder to break the hold, but
Law interpreted this as being told that he had won the match. The momentary lapse in
concentration allowed Blitz to get back to his feet, wrap Law around the waist and nail a
German release suplex. With the challenger stunned, Blitz managed to get the pace going, hitting
Law with a series of quick, high impact moves including some attacks from the top rope. As
Law appeared injured, Blitz slowed the pace, using his technical expertise to wear down Law.
After Law refused to submit to any of Blitz's elementary submission holds, the champion applied
a Boston Crab in the middle of the ring.
As happened earlier with Blitz, West Law was able to crawl his way to the ropes to break the
hold. Blitz put the boots to his opponent as Diamond King made his way down to ringside! DK
paced around the ring, keeping an eye on both men while taunting Law after every move that
Blitz hit. After a few moments, Law looked up to see his longtime rival at ringside. The
challenger screamed in rage as he turned and attacked Blitz with a frenzy of punches that rocked
the head of the Midwestern Champion. Seeing what was happening, DK jumped up on the
apron and called the referee over. Law did not want anything to do with this, as he pushed the
referee aside and nailed DK with a right hand to the jaw!! The crowd cheered as DK fell off the
apron and into the guardrail. As Law turned around, he found Blitz back on his feet. Blitz
kicked Law in the gut, raised him in the air, and nailed the Creeping Death!!! From there it was
only a formality, as Blitz made the cover for the win. Blitzkrieg wins by
pinfall. Blitz left the ring slowly and made his way over to the timekeeper's
table to collect his belt, where he came face to face with DK. The two men stared each other
down before the two men walked out in separate directions.
Wood: What is going on between GX and Blitzkrieg?? You know
Diamond King, Ray, why don't you fill us in.
Brewer: Hey, Wood, I only know what DK tells me. I can't imagine that he would have
anything to do with Blitzkrieg. I think this is just a series of coincidences. Blitzkrieg had
business to settle with Pot Head, and we all know about the past between Diamond King and
West Law. It's a coincidence, Wood. That's all.
Brewer: Well, perhaps this next match will tell the story. It's main event time, as Diamond King
prepares to challenge Aries for the MMP World Championship. So without further delay, let's
send it to the ring announcer!
MMP World Championship Match
ARIES (C) vs. DIAMOND
KING
The stables were out in full force for this all important match. Aries was
joined, as always, by Mr. Marvellous whereas Diamond King was out with all of GX, consisting
of Virus Richards and Jamaal, both of whom had been victorious earlier in the evening, as well
as DK's "business associate" Sudan Stan. Before the match could even begin, a brawl began on
the outside between Marvellous, Aries, Virus, and Jamaal. DK and Stan waited in the ring as
MMP officials straightened everything out. It was decided that since Sudan Stan and Mr.
Marvellous had official seconds licenses, they would be allowed to stay but the other wrestlers
would be forced to leave. DK argued that the decision was unfair, but this gave Aries an
opening, which he took advantage of in pounding DK with some forearm shots to the
back.
DK didn't take it for long, as he tore back into Aries with some closed-fisted right hands that
backed the "Beast from Greece" into the corner. DK climbed the ropes and pounded Aries in
the head ten times before getting down. DK motioned to the crowd, drawing a loud chorus of
boos and giving Aries the opportunity to shake off the effect of the blows and grab DK from
behind and hit a chokeslam! Aries covered, but DK kicked out at two. Aries picked the
challenger up off the canvas and went for a suplex, but DK raked the champion's eyes and
managed to land down on his feet. With Aries temporarily blinded, DK backed up and hit a
spear tackle that sent the champ down. He then took the offense to the air, nailing a flying
elbow drop against Aries' right knee. Could the Lethal Injection be far behind?
As DK set up for his patented finishing move, he saw Mr. Marvellous shouting encouragement
towards Aries on the outside. DK stalled in the ring and motioned to the dressing room. Mr.
Marvellous Sr. then made his way out, carrying a large rag. Diamond King ordered that Sr. get
in the ring and shine his shoes. Reluctantly, the old man did so. This enraged Marvellous, who
jumped up on the apron, distracting the referee. With Aries getting back to his feet, Jamaal
came running in from the crowd. Just before Aries could grab DK, Jamaal grabbed Aries by the
back of the head and nailed the Sudan Slam!! Jamaal got out of the ring and grabbed
Marvellous Sr. around the ankle, dragging him to the dressing room by the leg. With Aries
down, DK went for the ultimate insult. He pulled a black marker out from his boot and, in
mockery of an old High Society tactic, wrote a large "J" on Aries' chest! As DK tossed the
marker aside, Aries grabbed him around the throat! DK pushed free and ran the ropes, but was
met with a boot to the midsection followed by the Godly Drop!! Marvellous grabbed Aries' belt
and got up on the apron as the referee counted the three. Aries wins by
pinfall. Marvellous stood over DK and laughed while Aries raised his belt
high in the air as the screen faded to black.
