MR. BEUMONT vs. LEONARD “CUP” COOPER
”Monster Mash” played over the loudspeaker as Cup came to the ring, wearing a full Daark costume complete with face paint. He was accompanied by Hobo Richard, who was dressed as Inferno. Cup walked around the ring imitating a zombie as the music changed to "In the Navy” by the Village People. Mr. Beumont then made his way out in a full seaman’s outfit with the aid of a walker. He was flanked by Welfare William and China Town Lee, dressed as Dr. No Limit and George Achica respectively. Beumont slowly made his way into the ring and started chasing Daark around the ring, yelling ”I WILL GET YOU MOBY DICK! BAD WHALE!”. Cup turned and, still walking awkwardly with arms outstretched, stubbed his toe on Beumont’s walker. He fell to the mat grabbing his foot in pain. Beumont quickly fell on top for the 1…2…3. The William and China Town got in the ring and celebrated with Beumont.
DR. NO LIMIT & GEORGE ACHICA vs. THE ORDER
The Order came to the ring first, looking to build on their one-match winning streak that began against the CWO the previous week. They were accompanied by Hot Crimson, who came down the aisle with his head down, wearing a golden cloak. DNL and George weren’t far behind and, much like their opponents, they had back up of their own. Zane and Charles, DNL’s trusty associates, were with the two big men, and both were carrying baseball bats to serve as further protection against outside interference. They set up the customary table on the outside as DNL and George got in the ring, standing face to face with their opponents. The referee quickly ushered DNL and The Dragonfly to the apron and, while George and DNL went over some last minute strategy, Tao Te Ching was anxious to get the match underway. He quickly delivered a baseball slide dropkick that caught George flush on the shinbone. George bent over and grabbed his leg and, with the leg already weakened, it enabled Tao to take the big Samoan down early with a drop toehold. After pulling George over towards his corner Tao made the tag to Dragonfly. Dragonfly waited for George to get back to his feet before slingshotting himself over the top rope and hooking George with a huracanrana. The big man, though, managed to compose himself and caught Dragonfly in mid air, turning the move into a powerbomb. He drove Dragonfly hard into the canvas and, while still favoring his injured leg, slowly made his way over to tag in DNL. DNL didn’t hesitate in going after Dragonfly, pulling him up quickly and tossing him off the ropes, catching him on the rebound with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. He then made another tag, bringing George back into the match. While DNL held Dragonfly’s legs to keep him in place, George hopped up to the second rope and came off with a big splash, burying Dragonfly beneath his 400-plus pound frame. Rather than go for a cover, George pulled Dragonfly up off the canvas once again, this time hoisting the diminutive man up in a bearhug. Moving out to the middle of the ring, George tightened his grip, doing his best to squeeze the air out of the newcomer. Dragonfly reached out in desperation, trying to make a tag, but he was well out of reach of Tao. The referee finally stepped in to check on Dragonfly. He raised the arm once, and it fell. Twice it fell. On the third time, Dragonfly held on, but just barely. Rather than risk Dragonfly breaking, George charged forward and rammed Dragonfly’s back hard against the turnbuckle, burying him under his own girth. He made another tag to DNL and the former extreme champion entered the ring, assisting George in a double team effort. They whipped Dragonlfy off the ropes and set up for a double backdrop but Tao, having seen enough, snuck into the ring behind them. DNL and George sent Dragonfly airborne, but Tao was there to help his partner land on his feet. The two then nailed a double dropkick on George, sending the big Samoan out to the floor. Dragonfly charged at DNL with a clothesline but DNL ducked, only to be caught as he stood back upright with a spinning heel kick to the jaw from Tao Te Ching! Tao dropped to his knees and, as soon as DNL got back to his feet, Dragonfly used his partner as a springboard into a flying bodypress that floored DNL. George pulled himself back into the ring and nailed Tao from behind with a clothesline while Dragonfly hammered DNL. The Samoan then grabbed Tao and, demonstrating his incredible strength, hoisted his opponent up in the air, dropping him over the top rope to the arena floor. Tao landed square on the safety rail and George followed him out, leaving only DNL and Dragonfly in the ring. After peppering DNL with right hands Dragonfly got up off his opponent and climbed to the top rope. He waited for DNL to get back to his feet before jumping off with a flying shoulderblock, but DNL caught him in mid air. He quickly turned Dragonfly upside down and connected with a Limit Driver. With George occupying Tao on the outside, DNL made the cover and hooked the leg for the three count.
MMP Midwestern Championship Match
RAY BREWER (C) vs. “HELLACIOUS” HARRY SIMON
Harry Simon received a mixed reaction from the crowd, as many observers didn’t remember him from his wrestling days. Brewer, however, was very familiar to MMP fans, and drew a loud chorus of boos. He was seconded by Gus the Plumber, former MMP tag team champion and long time associate of Brewer’s. The two men locked up right away, with Harry going right to his trademark old-school mat wrestling, dropping to his knees and taking Brewer over with a fireman’s carry takedown. Brewer shot back up, only to be taken down once again. The next time Brewer got up he was ready for Simon’s tactics, and simply floored the old man with a clothesline. As the match continued, The Bootlegger made his return to MMP TV, standing in the entrance way and watching the action. He looked on approvingly as Brewer began to take over the match on Simon. A shove from behind caught the Italian off guard, and suddenly “Stunning” Steve Simon was making his way down the aisle. Steve Simon was wearing a suit, and received loud cheers from the fans. Brewer stomped Harry repeatedly as Steve got down to the ring, heading right over to the timekeeper and grabbing the midwestern title belt. The champion spotted SSS with his belt and pulled off Harry, coming over and shouting at SSS. Steve hopped up on the apron with belt in hand and returned those words, soon becoming engaged in a heated discussion with Brewer. Harry Simon was quickly back up, and came right over to interrupt. He shoved Brewer down, but did so just as Steve swung the title belt. The belt struck Harry right in the side of the head, knocking the challenger clean out. Steve jumped down from the apron and set the title belt down as he went over to grab a mic. The Bootlegger began laughing uncontrollably as he watched from the entrance. Brewer was quick to capitalize and pulled Harry up, delivering his old piledriver finisher before covering Harry for the three count. Gus grabbed Brewer’s belt and passed it to him as the two men walked out. Steve Simon, on the other hand, waited for his father to get up before addressing the man whom he had just cost a shot at the midwestern title.
SSS: Dad, I've had some time off, and you know what? I realized what was good for me. And you, dear old Dad, are definitely not it. Sorry, DAD, but the Stunning One is back, in full force.
SSS tossed the mic down, waving off his father as he headed back to the dressing room.
SUPER CUPID vs. HASSAN ABU SAADA
Hassan made his way to the ring first, accompanied for the big match by a large horde of slaves and belly dancers. He was carrying a copy of The Koran in his right hand, which he set down in the corner as Super Cupid’s music hit. Cupid then came down the aisle, carrying a microphone:
Cupid: Your Icon has arrived! Now last week each and everyone of you tuned in to watch me cripple old whats him name. He was some kind of hall of famer or something, I dont know. Anyway, I know tonight each and everyone one of you came here tonight for one reason. Well too actually. The first one is to see me, The Nookie Monster, end another career. The second reason is that all of you t.v. dinner eating inbreds recieved your wellfare checks in the mail today so you decided to come buy one of my t-shirts instead of buying your stinkin' kids a winter coat! You people disgust me!
The crowd booed loudly as Cupid tossed the mic down, but that didn’t seem to bother the Quincy native. He quickly charged at Hassan with a clothesline, but Hassan ducked out of the way and caught Cupid with a vicious chop to the chest. Cupid was sent back into the corner where Hassan laid into him, nailing him with a series of chops to the upper body, eventually driving Cupid down to the canvas. He tried to pull Cupid up, but Cupid wrapped his arms around Hassan’s waist out of desperation and pulled Hassan forward, sending him through the ropes out to the floor. Two slaves rushed over to assist their master in getting to his feet, but when they did Cupid bounced off the far ropes and nailed Hassan with a baseball slide dropkick, catching the Egyptian square in the face. The blow rocked Hassan back against the safety rail, striking his ribs against the top bar. Hassan clutched his midsection in pain as Cupid slid out to the floor. He pulled Hassan away from the rail, only to suddenly charge forward, ramming the ribs into the steel once more. Cupid focused the majority of his offense on Hassan’s ribs, delivering rapid fire kicks to the ribcage while Hassan was slouched against the rail. After rolling Hassan back into the ring Cupid slowed the pace down, locking Hassan in an abdominal stretch. He held the move for nearly two minutes, but Hassan adamently refused to surrender. Cupid was starting to realize that he might not get a submission out of Hassan so, with the hold still somewhat applied, he rolled Hassan down onto the canvas in a unique pinning position for the 1…2…Hassan kicks out! Cupid slammed his hands on the canvas out of frustration and had some unkind words for the official before turning back to his opponent. He charged at Hassan with another clothesline, but again Hassan ducked, this time countering with a boot to the midsection and a face buster. Both men were down and slow to ge up, but it was Hassan who showed the first signs of life. He struggled to his feet while Cupid did the same, but before Cupid could get back to a vertical base Hassan slapped on a cobra clutch. Hassan slowly wrestled Cupid back down to the canvas, using his weight to his advantage as he drained the life out of his opponent. The referee got down in Cupid’s face to see if he wanted to give it up, but Cupid adamently refused. The official then checked his arm, but on the third drop, Cupid shot his arm out to shove the ref back. He slowly worked his way back to his feet and shot a kick back into Hassan’s groin area, doubling Hassan over and breaking the hold. After a couple seconds of catching his breath, Cupid nailed Hassan with a clothesline before going out to the floor. While Hassan clutched his groin in agony, Cupid grabbed a steel chair and brought it into the ring. The ref tried to get the chair away from him, but Cupid just pushed him aside and set the chair up in the middle of the ring. After setting Hassan in the chair, Cupid climbed up to the top rope. Hassan sat groggy and motionless in the chair as Cupid dove off with a flying bodypress. At the last moment Hassan slipped out of the way, and Cupid crashed sternum first onto the back of the chair. Holding his midsection Cupid bounded back to his feet, but Hassan grabbed him immediately and delivered the Koran Thump. From there Cupid was easy pickings and Hassan made the cover for the three count. As his hand was raised, one of the slaves passed Hassan the copy of “The Koran” that he had brought with him. He set it down next to Cupid before heading back to the dressing room. While Cupid struggled to his feet, Masked Menace X appeared on the giant television screen.
MMX: Cupid, Cupid, Cupid. You know you have been sticking your nose into my business way to much. I am afraid you will need to be taught a lesson. Care to join Me Mini Menace.
The scene then showed MMX and Mini Menace outside the arena, near Cupid’s limousine. MMX, crowbar in hand, began smashing the headlights and windows while Mini Menace used a broken beer bottle to puncture the tires. The two men then laughed before running into the building.
THE BOOTLEGGER vs. INFERNO
Inferno came out to his usual entrance with the fiery phoenix blazing overhead. As he entered he clapped his hands together and then performed a standing split with his legs, touching one hand to his foot. This was to signify that he would use his entire body for the match. “Paint it Black” bythe Rolling Stones then blasted over the loudspeaker, prompting the ASSociates to head down to the ring. Passion was wearing a white skin-tight dress and Rage a leather dominatrix outfit. They both then turned and bowed to the entrance as Bootlegger made his way out. He was wearing a black robe and new silver and black trunks. After grinning in response to the loud chorus of boos he received, Bootlegger headed down to ringside. Inferno stood motionless watching the girls disrobe Bootlegger, constantly touching a small ring hanging from a chain around his throat. Bootlegger began by offering a handshake, but Inferno slapped it off and responded with a gesture of his own – a boot to the midsection. While Bootlegger was doubled over Inferno nailed him with a sidewalk slam before pulling Boot up and sending him into the ropes, catching him on the rebound with a boot to the face. The early onslaught by Inferno sent Bootlegger rolling out to the floor to regroup, and the ASSociates rushing over to Bootlegger’s side. They whispered something in his ear as he re-entered. Inferno was there to meet Bootlegger as he tried to come back in, but Bootlegger grabbed Inferno’s head and snapped his neck down across the top rope. He then rolled quickly back into the ring and immediately pulled Inferno up, delivering a fallaway slam. As Inferno pulled himself up from the move, Boot mockingly slapped him on the back of the head, yelling at him "Look how soft you've gotten hanging, Scott, you're pathetic!!". Enraged, Inferno nailed Boot with a series of powerful karate chops to the head and chest, but that momentum was quickly slowed by a thumb to the eye from Bootlegger. Laughing, Bootlegger whipped Inferno into the ropes and delivered a big clothesline, then pulling Inferno back up again and locking on an abdominal stretch. While the referee checked to see if Inferno wanted to give it up Bootlegger reached back and grabbed onto the top rope for additional leveredge. The official eventually noticed what was going on and, with a solid kick to the tricep, forced him to let go of the support. While Bootlegger was off balance, Inferno was able to flip him over to break the hold. Boot shot back to his feet, but Inferno caught him with a big powerslam as soon as he got up. He followed up with a legdrop before pulling Bootlegger up and signalling for the All Nighter. Just as he set Bootlegger in position, Inferno spotted Aaron Spellingsworth, in his wheelchair, coming down the runway. Shocked at the sight of his father, Inferno dropped Boot and left the ring, heading towards his father. Spellingsworth turned his chair around and headed back to the dressing room with Inferno following right behind. Back in the ring, the referee began his ten count. Inferno never looked back, and was counted out, giving Bootlegger the win.
MMP Tag Team Championship Match
VIRUS RICHARDS (C) vs. THE JOKER’S CHILD
Virus came to the ring first, and had a look of sheer contempt for his opponent as he made his way down. “Asshole” by Denis Leary then came over the loudspeaker as The Joker’s Child appeared in the entrance way, carrying both of Virus’ tag title belts. He was smoking a cigar and was accompanied by Ponch, but before he even reached the ring, Joker stopped and pointed towards the ring. Virus started to come towards Joker, but as he did Joker snapped his fingers and other members of The Family rushed Virus from all sides through the crowd. Psychotic Sam, The Saint, and Soul Crusher all pounded on Virus while Joker made his way down to join the action. The CWO even rushed towards the fight to get in on things before a group of referee’s came out to break things up. The official, ruling that Virus was in no condition to start the match after such an attack, awarded the decision to Virus as a result of a disqualification due to outside interference.
MMP Television Championship Match
MASKED MENACE X (C) vs. WOLVERINE
With Wolverine already waiting in the ring, Mini Menace came through the curtain carrying both the MMP TV and ECWA heavyweight championship belts. He then turned back to face the dressing room as MMX came out, drawing a loud chorus of boos from the crowd. MMX came slowly down the aisle, taunting Wolverine the whole way. When he finally made it to the ring he hopped up on the apron, causing Wolverine to charge right for the champion. MMX, though, ducked down out of the way, pulling the top rope down as he jumped to the floor and causing Wolverine to go tumbling over the top. The champ slammed Wolverine into the safety rail head first before rolling him back in under the bottom rope. A fan in the front row began hurling insults at MMX as he started to get back in the ring and, as always, MMX was unable to just let it go. He got down off the apron and went right over to the fan, getting in a heated shouting match with the fan, who was by then leaning over the rail and trying to get at the TV champion. Security hurried down to intervene and keep the fan from getting involved further, bringing about further taunts from MMX. By the time the champ finally rolled back into the ring, Wolverine was back on his feet. He nailed MMX with a running jump kick to the head, knocking him abruptly down to the canvas. Wolverine didn’t let up though, and grabbed MMX by the back of he head, ramming MMX’s face repeatedly against his own knee. After letting MMX fall unceremoniously back to the mat Wolverine delivered a big elbowdrop, and then pulled MMX up once again. He nailed a vicious kick to the midsection and lifted MMX with a gutwrench into a powerbomb position, but before he could drive the champ down MMX raked Wolverine’s face, enabling himself to escape his opponent’s grasp. MMX quickly grabbed Wolverine and drove him head first into the canvas with a DDT before the challenger could get his vision back, and the match turned back in favor of the champion. The champ pulled Wolverine up yet again, this time sending him off the far ropes and catching him in a powerslam. Then, when MMX perceived that Wolverine was ready to be finished, he took his attack to the air. After making an obscene gesture towards the fan that he had engaged earlier in the match MMX dove off with a flying headbutt, but the hesitation proved costly. Wolverine rolled out of the way, sending MMX crashing head first to the canvas. The challenger capitalized quickly, dropping two elbows across MMX’s left knee before slingshotting the champ into the turnbuckle. MMX hit sternum first and stumbled back, right into the waiting arms of Wolverine, who hoisted him up in the Michigan Death Driver. As soon as Wolverine had MMX up, though, Mini Menace slid into the ring and gave Wolverine a low blow, causing the referee to call for the bell. Wolverine dropped MMX and grabbed Mini Menace by the head, tossing him out to the floor as the ref announced Wolverine the winner by disqualification.
Lumberjack Match
DAARK vs. PSYCHOTIC SAM
Daark came to the ring first, flanked by the entire Cult – Harbinger, The Destroyer, Inferno, and even The Cult Master. The outside quartet surrounded the ring as the music changed from Daark’s theme to Sam’s new royal music. Sam came to the ring with Joker, Soul Crusher, Mr. Beumont, and “Cup” Cooper, but also The Saint and Mike the Giant Retard. He was carrying Marbels and AJ the Bat, and was wearing the MMP world title belt, that had been remodeled into a crown. Tensions quickly picked up on the floor, and even before the match began the referee had to intervene on the outside. Since the contract for the match said that only wrestlers would be allowed to serve as lumberjacks during the match, The Saint and Mike were ordered to return to the dressing room. Meanwhile, in the ring, Sam was demanding that Daark bow before him and acknowledge his perceived status as King of Spain. Instead of bowing Daark lunged right after Sam with a right hand, but Sam ducked out of the way and jumped up on the universal champion’s back. Reaching around with his uncut fingernails, Sam raked at Daark’s eyes before leaning over and biting Daark on the forehead. The ref, having dispatched Saint and Mike to the dressing room, quickly slid back into the ring to pull Sam off, but by the time the official returned Sam had already drawn blood. He floored Daark with a clothesline before he began stomping repeatedly on Daark’s bloodied skull. With Daark wounded Sam slowed the pace down, slapping on an armbar. This technical approach seemed to catch Daark off guard, though the Cult member quickly adapted, slowly working his way back to his feet and delivering a series of elbows to Sam’s midsection. After the hold had been loosened Daark reversed the armbar and whipped Sam off the far ropes, catching him coming back with a spinning heel kick. Sam’s head snapped back and struck the canvas hard, causing him to be slow in getting up. When Sam finally did get back to his feet he was taken down again, this time with a flying lariat. Daark then picked up the pace, pulling Sam up himself and delivering a shoulderbreaker before going to work with repeated basic stomps and elbowsmashes. Daark was really taking the fight to Sam, and backed into a neutral corner to wait for his opponent to get up again. When Sam finally did so, Daark dove at him with a chop block, taking the legs out from under the Hall of Famer. Daark then applied a new hold, a modified camel clutch known as the Cult Clutch. He kept the hold locked in until Sam had stopped responding and then, rather than going for a cover, he pulled Sam up and tossed him over the top rope, landing him right at the feet of Harbinger and The Destroyer. After sending Sam to the outside Daark turned his attention towards The Joker’s Child, daring Joker to get in the ring against him. Joker got up on the apron, oblivious to the fact that Sam was at the mercy of The Cult. The former tag team champions immediately went to work on Sam, and with only Soul Crusher, Beumont, and Cooper there to try and fight off four big men, Sam took a bit of a pounding before he rolled back in. Seeing that Sam was back in, Joker slowly motioned as if he was going to accept Daark’s challenge. The referee rushed over to keep Joker out, and while Daark was distracted Sam was able to nail him with a chop block of his own, returning the favor Daark had paid him earlier in the match. Sam delivered a piledriver before going over to his corner and grabbing Marbels. The brawl continued on the floor when Joker joined in to fight off The Cult, but in the ring Sam was waiting for Daark to get up. Daark finally regained his vertical base and Sam charged at him with Marbels, but the referee stepped in and cut Sam off, trying to pull Marbels out of his hands. The two engaged in a tug of war over the cat, with the ref arguing that Sam would be disqualified if he used the cat as a weapon. Sam countered by claiming that he was the King and could do whatever he wanted. While the argument was going on, Daark hooked Sam from behind and nailed the Whispered Prophecy! He lunged over and made the cover for the 1…2…3 as the screen fades to black.
