Evening Gown Match
PONCH vs. PABLO

Pablo was waiting in the ring with Ouija Lullabye and several men dressed up as ho's as Ponch's music, "I'm an Assman", played over the loudspeaker. Ponch was dressed in a tight black leather gown and was leading Welfare William to the ring on a leash. Ponch then demanded a mic, telling everyone that he and William "always kicked that shiznit doggy style". When Ponch turned around, however, he was met with a vicious slap across the face from Pablo, who then grabbed Ponch by the hair and whipped him across the ring. The Joker's Child made his way down to the ring as Ouija's male ho's pulled Ponch out of the ring and set him on a table, telling Pablo to go to the top rope. Pablo climbed the ropes, but before he could dive off on Ponch he slipped and straddled himself on the top rope. Joker came around the ring and ran Ouija into the ring post before pulling Ponch off the table and rolling him back into the ring. Pablo, still feeling the effects of the botched top rope move, was slow getting down from the top and when he did he walked right into a boot in the midsection from Ponch, who then nailed a pumphandle slam. Ponch tore the dress off of Pablo to win the match, but he wasn't done there. Reaching into his pocket, Ponch pulled out a pair of pantyhouse with a face drawn on them which he called "Mr. Macko". He put Mr. Macko over his hand and applied a testicular claw on Pablo before Joker got in the ring and pulled him off, telling him to "stop acting gay" and dragging him back to the dressing room.

MMP Saturday Night Slams is on the air! The MMP Coliseum is sold out with more than 15, 000 fans in attendance for tonight's huge event. Commentators Jerry Wood and Ray Brewer are at ringside.

Wood: Welcome, everyone, to MMP Saturday Night Slams! I'm Jerry Wood alongside Ray Brewer where tonight, only four days away from MMP Moonlight live in Washington, DC, we have three huge championship matches lined up, including the first in ring appearance from Captain Patrick O'Conner in several weeks as he gets set to defend the MMP world championship tonight against The Joker's Child.

Brewer: That challenge initially went out to The Saint last weekend from O'Conner, but it was Joker that stepped up from The Family to take the title shot. Many observers are wondering why Psychotic Sam didn't take the match when it was on the table last week and are starting to ask themselves if Sam sincerely wants a shot at the world title. There are rumors flying aroud, however, that a match between O'Conner and Sam for the belt is in the works and could be signed in the next couple of weeks.

Wood: O'Conner is going to have to get by a couple of very tough opponents before making it to a possible showdown with Sam, first Joker tonight and then John Korso coming up later this week in Washington. The tag team championship is on the line here this evening and for the first time ever it will be defended in a singles match. Virus Richards will defend the belts against one of his scheduled opponents for Moonlight in The Ryno while Soul Crusher defends the TV belt later this evening against a very formidable opponent in Dr. No Limit. We open things tonight with a battle of two big men as Hassan Abu Saada and George Achica get set to kick things off on Saturday Night Slams.

HASSAN ABU SAADA vs. GEORGE ACHICA

George was already waiting in the ring as Hassan made his way down, accompanied as always by several slaves. He was also carrying a book with him to ringside, although the title of the work could not be detected by the camera. The "Egyptian Monarch", seeing this as his last chance for a warm-up match before meeting Malice on Wednesday, took the fight right to the more experienced Achica, attacking him right away with a series of kicks to the knees. George bent over to protect his lower limbs, but was caught with a solid uppercut to the jaw that quickly brought him back to an upright position. With his opponent staggered, Hassan nailed George with a running clothesline and dropped a leg across Achica's throat, not letting the massive Samoan have even a second to catch his breath. Pulling George up off the canvas, Hassan demonstrated his awesome strength has he nailed George with a belly to belly suplex before tossing him off the ropes, catching him on the rebound in the Koran Thump! Hassan made the cover and scored the three count, sending him to Moonlight on a winning note. Hassan grabbed his book, titled "The Koran", and led the slaves to the back.

Wood: Another big win for Hassan Abu Saada, who has amassed a very impressive record over his first few months here in the MMP. Malice is going to be in tough against this man when the two collide in the first-ever tomb match coming up on Wednesday night.

Brewer: I agree, that is going to be a very tough match for both men, but it should show exactly where the two are in terms of competing with the rest of the MMP. Both have been impressive since making their debuts here, but at the same time both are inexperienced against the upper level talent that this promotion has to offer. Wednesday night will be a big match for both of them. It will be interesting to see which man can rise to the occasion.

Wood: The first of our three title matches is up next as Soul Crusher, a man who last week was unveiled as the newest member of The Family, defends the television championship against a man who has had more than his share of run-ins with the group from Philadelphia during his time in the MMP, DNL. DNL is coming off a few losing weeks and could be in tough to change that tonight against the big German. Let's go to the ring.

MMP Television Championship Match
SOUL CRUSHER (C) vs. DR. NO LIMIT

The challenger DNL made his way to the ring first, accompanied by Zane and Charles. As usual he took time to set up the customary table on the outside of the ring before stepping through the ropes. After Soul Crusher had arrived DNL wasted little time in going after him, catching the charging Soul Crusher with a powerslam right at the opening bell. Seeing that he had taken the early wind out of Crusher's sails DNL stayed on his man, pulling Crusher up and tossing him off the ropes, catching him on the rebound with a big spinebuster. Crusher hit the mat hard and had apparently injured his back. DNL took full advantage, slapping the man in a Texas cloverleaf submission hold. The TV champion struggled towards the ropes, but the pressure from DNL's weight pressing down on his back was making it very difficult for him. He eventually made it to the bottom strand to force the break, but it seemed to take every ounce of strength that the champ had in him. Crusher needed the assistance of the ropes just to get back to his feet, and when he turned around DNL scooped him up in the Limit Driver. Carrying Soul Crusher out to the middle of the ring, DNL planted his opponent head first into the canvas and covered him for the 1...2...3 to capture the TV title for the first time.

Wood: A minor upset early on here tonight on SNS as Dr. No Limit has captured another championship, knocking off Soul Crusher with relative ease to grab the TV belt.

Brewer: This is going to prove to be an interesting challenge for DNL. Unlike the extreme and midwestern championships that he has held before, DNL is going to have to defend the TV title every single week on our television programming. A rigorous defense schedule like that can take it's toll on a man fairly quickly as the many men who have held the title before can tell you.

Wood: Up first for DNL, however, will be the Moonlight PPV event where he defends his newly won championship against Wolverine - a man who, interestingly enough, defeated DNL at last year's Moonlight event in Detroit. Speaking of Wolverine, he's about set to make his way down to the ring for our next match, a first round battle in the Hall of Fame tournament. Wolverine will battle it out with Malice, a controversial rookie who has been making quite a name for himself in the early days of his MMP career. The winner will go on to Best of the Best with a chance to earn a shot at the MMP world title. The first step towards that goal, however, is right here tonight.

Hall of Fame Tournament - 1st Round Match
WOLVERINE vs. MALICE

With Wolverine already waiting in the ring, Malice began to make his way down the aisle. Before he got very far, though, he was ambushed from behind by several of Hassan Abu Saada's slaves. Malice fought the servants off, but then was caught around the throat by the big hand of Hassan himself, who hoisted Malice up in the air and delivered a punishing chokeslam. The referee ran down the aisle to cut Hassan off, allowing Malice to slowly crawl towards the ring. When he arrived Wolverine wasted little time in working over his opponent, whipping Malice hard into the corner and delivering a series of knee smashes to the midsection. Malice collapsed in the corner, allowing Wolverine to use a boot across the throat to choke his opponent down. The official, having sent Hassan back to the dressing room, stepped in and cut Wolverine off, threatening to disqualify him if he didn't let up on the choke. Wolverine, realizing that this match was part of a big opportunity for him, relented and let Malice get back to his feet, but quickly turned and took him over with a hiptoss. Malice struggled to his feet once more and Wolverine charged in with a clothesline, but out of nowhere Malice caught Wolverine and turned him over with a powerslam. The desperation move gave Malice the opening that he sorely needed, leaving both men on the canvas, slow to get up. Wolverine was the first man to his feet but Malice wasn't far behind. The bizarre newcomer caught Wolverine with a knee to the midsection followed by a double-axhandle blow across the back that put the Detroit native down once again. Malice seemed to be getting a second wind after the early assault by both Wolverine and Hassan Abu Saada and pulled Wolverine up again only to whip him into the far corner. Wolverine's back hit hard against the turnbuckle and Malice, working at a methodical pace, followed him in, delivering rapid kicks to the ribcage, dropping Wolverine to the canvas. This time it was Malice that had to be backed away by the official, but the newcomer wasn't as accomodating as his opponent had been earlier. After backing away momentarily Malice pushed past the ref and charged at Wolverine, driving his knee right into Wolverine's face. Further admonishments from the ref were ignored as Malice looked to move one step closer to a shot at the MMP world title, pulling Wolverine up and setting him in position for a t-bone suplex. He got Wolverine up but the resilient veteran had a counter, landing on his feet and immediately hooking Malice in a neckbreaker. Again both men were down, and by this point the fans were on their feet showing their appreciation of the effort both men were giving. Malice was the first man up this time around and he charged at Wolverine with a clothesline, but Wolverine ducked and caught Malice on the rebound with a sidewalk slam. This seemed to take the wind right out of Malice's sails, and Wolverine realized it. Pulling Malice up, Wolverine delivered an atomic drop, keeping hold on his opponent and following it up immediately with a German suplex. With everything set, Wolverine grabbed Malice and picked him up in the Michigan Spike, but Malice was able to counter, sliding down Wolverine's back and landing on his feet. When Wolverine turned around, Malice locked on the Painful Pleasure! Gripping Wolverine's face tighter and tighter, Malice slowly wrestled the big man to the canvas, mounting his opponent for added leverage. Wolverine fought back with all he had, but Malice's grip was unrelenting. After a couple minutes in the hold, Wolverine started to go out. The referee raised Wolverine's arm and once, twice, three times it fell, giving Malice the victory and a spot in the semi-finals of the tournament.

Wood: So in what has to be considered something of an upset, Malice has defeated Wolverine to advance to the next round of the Hall of Fame tournament. The winner will now go on to Best of the Best to face the winner of the Destroyer/Aries match later tonight in the semi-finals.

Brewer: This does have to be considered a fairly big upset, given the status that Wolverine has earned over the past few months. He is a two-time former midwestern champion, but tonight Malice more than held his own. This newcomer could cause some big problems for the rest of the field when we get to Best of the Best in a few weeks time.

Wood: A former midwestern and extreme champion makes his return to the MMP coming up in our next match. After disappearing for several months back in June, nobody had heard from Christian Antimarius until just a little over a week ago when he made his startling return to the MMP. Tonight, in his first match back, Antimarius goes one on one with one of the newest members of The Family, a group to which Antimarius used to belong, Tao Te Ching.

CHRISTIAN ANTIMARIUS vs. TAO TE CHING

Tao was the first to arrive, accompanied by The Saint as had become custom over the past couple of weeks. The Saint, a former close ally of Antimarius, was carrying his usual thermos labelled "Holy Water" as he headed to the ring. "Descent" by Fear Factory then played over the loudspeaker for the first time in many months as Antimarius, in his new ring attire, made his way back into the MMP Coliseum. As he stepped through the ropes, Antimarius tossed his trench coat right into the face of The Saint, but the distraction allowed Tao to get in an early shot, nailing Antimarius with a spinning heel kick to the face. Saint stepped to the floor and told Tao what to do, telling the oriental star how best to work over Saint's former partner. Tao whipped Antimarius into the far turnbuckle and jumped up on his shoulders with a huracanrana, but Antimarius quickly countered the move into a powerbomb, whipping Tao to the canvas with incredible velocity. Knowing that he was not going to be able to match pace with Tao, Antimarius decided to slow the contest down and locked Tao in a punishing armbar hold. Tao was slow to get back to his feet and Antimarius kept the hold on, gripping tighter and tighter the more Tao fought. With Tao almost able to escape, Antimarius released the hold and sent Tao off the ropes, catching him on the rebound in a sleeper hold. This wore Tao down further, and put Antimarius in complete control. Tao looked to be going out, and he collapsed to one knee in the center of the ring. The ref stepped in to check on Tao, but when he did he saw that Antimarius had dropped his lower arm down and was now using it to choke Tao out. This realization forced the official to call for the break, something that seriously angered the former midwestern and extreme champion. While Antimarius argued with the ref Tao slid out under the bottom rope, reaching back in and tripping Antimarius' feet out from under him. He pulled Antimarius' legs around the ring post, yanking back hard and driving Antimarius' groin hard into the steel. After slamming Antimarius' legs on the post, Tao slid back into the ring and applied a sharpshooter, trying to beat a submission out of his opponent. Antimarius wasn't able to reach the ropes, but he wasn't about to give up either. Realizing this, Tao eventually released the hold and, with Antimarius seemingly motionless on the canvas, went to the top rope. As he climbed, however, Antimarius suddenly shot to his feet. Tao, not seeing this, jumped off the top with the Essential Flash, but it was caught and countered in one fluid motion into Antimarius' Dark Angels Fall. Tao's head was driven into the canvas and Antimarius covered him for the three count. As soon as the bell sounded, however, The Saint was in the ring. Spinning Antimarius around, Saint tossed the holy water into Antimarius' face, scalding his former partner before applying the Hand of God. Once Tao recovered he joined in on the attack as well, double teaming Antimarius until officials from the back could be called out to break it up.

Wood: A triumphant return to the MMP for Christian Antimarius, but the celebration is short lived. It looks like the bad blood between him and The Saint runs quite deep, and I would venture to say that this war between Antimarius and The Family is far from over.

Brewer: No, I would say it's just getting started. Antimarius has quite a history with The Family, and he's made it clear that he intends on taking out all his built up frustrations on Sam, Joker, and the rest of the gang from Philadelphia.

Wood: It's time for our next championship match here on SNS, but this match has a very strange set of circumstances surrounding it as for the first time ever the tag team titles will be on the line in a one on one match. Virus Richards, representing the Upstanding Citizens, will defend against The Ryno, challenging on behalf of himself and Masochrist. Of course, those two teams will meet at Moonlight for the belts, but which team will enter the MCI Center in Washington as the champions? Let's go back to the action to find out.

MMP Tag Team Championship Match
VIRUS RICHARDS (C) vs. THE RYNO

Virus came to the ring first, being pushed down the aisle in his wheelchair by Michael, still dressed in his American flag diaper and "F*ck the Joker's Toll" t-shirt. He was also wearing a Philadelphia Eagles cap and, before the match, insisted that highlights of the Eagles recent win over the Chicago Bears be played on the giant video screen. Ryno's music hit, but the challenger was nowhere to be found. The ring announcer introduced him again, but again there was no Ryno. The cameras then cut backstage to where one of the directors was approaching Ryno's dressing room to tell him it was time to go. When he arrived there was a piece of paper taped to the door with the words "GO AWAY" written on it. The director opened the door, only to find Ryno in the process of hanging himself from his dressing room ceiling!!! The director rushed in just as Ryno knocked out the stool he had been standing on. Unable to believe what he was seeing, the director rushed over and grabbed Ryno's legs, taking the pressure off his neck while screaming for help. Back in the arena, everyone was stunned. Silence filled the MMP Coliseum at the sight of what had just happened, and after a few moments the ref told Virus that there would be no match tonight. Virus insisted on having his hand raised in victory before ordering Michael to take him back to the dressing room.

Wood: I...I don't know what to make of what we just witnessed. It appeared as though The Ryno was actually trying to take his own life. I...I understand that we have medical technicians backstage securing Ryno and preparing to take him to a local hospital, but everyone here at the MMP Coliseum is still in shock over what we just witnessed. I don't know what's going to happen now...the next match? OK, I'm getting word that we're just going to go onto our next match, Aries and The Destroyer going one on one in the first round of the Hall of Fame tournament.

Hall of Fame Tournament - 1st Round Match
THE DESTROYER vs. ARIES

With the crowd still in stunned silence after seeing what had happened with The Ryno, "Freedom" by Rage Against the Machine blared over the loudspeaker and Destroyer made his way out, flanked by several Cult minions including Destroyer's longtime tag team partner, Harbinger. This didn't stop Aries, however, from getting an early shot in. As the minions began to circle around the ring, Aries came running out from the backstage area and nailed Destroyer in the back of the head with a clothesline. The big man dropped to one knee and Aries laid into him with a series of punches to the forehead, stopping only after the referee threatened to disqualify him. Determined to earn a shot at getting the world title back, Aries obeyed the official and rolled Destroyer in under the bottom rope. Destroyer made his way towards the corner but Aries stayed on him, hitting Destroyer with a series of kicks to the ribs before turning the man around, pressing him chest-first against the turnbuckle pad and driving repeated knees into the extreme champion's lower back. The Cult Master's loyal follower was in bad shape in the early going and Aries didn't stop, driving him head first into the canvas with a DDT and dropping an elbow across the injured part of Destroyer's back. Aries was very deliberate in his onslaught, focusing entirely on the lower back of his near 500-pound opponent. He pulled Destroyer up and again sent him into the corner, charging in after him with a clothesline. Destroyer, however, caught Aries coming in with a stiff elbow shot to the jaw, staggering the "Beast from Greece". The extreme champ was slow to follow up, still feeling the effects of Aries' attack on his back earlier in the match. He gave Aries a couple of boots to the shins before flooring him with a thunderous heabutt. Pulling Aries back up, Destroyer tossed the Hall of Famer off the ropes, catching him coming back with a punishing backbreaker. The move, however, took it's toll on both men. Destroyer expended a great deal of energy in getting the near 400-pounder up, and it took it's toll on Destroyer's back. Both men were slow in responding, although Destroyer was the first man to get back to his feet. Looking to slow down the pace of the match, Destroyer rolled Aries over onto his back, grabbed his legs, and turned him over in a Boston crab. Pulling back on Aries' legs, Destroyer looked to counter the damage that Aries had done to his back earlier in the match by doing the same to the former two-time world champion. Aries' height made it easy for him to work his way over to the ropes, but it was clear that Destroyer had done his damage. It was now Aries who was slow in navigating the ring, while Destroyer seemed to be getting some movement back. Destroyer went for another submission move, this time an abdominal stretch, but before he could get it locked in Aries hiptossed him over, sending Destroyer down hard to the canvas, but also bringing himself down to one knee at the same time. Again both men were slow getting up. Destroyer, however, was up first, and charged at Aries with a clothesline. Aries ducked, catching Destroyer with a sidewalk slam. With the two combatants again down on the canvas, the referee began to administer a ten count. At seven Aries threw his arm over top of Destroyer for the cover and the 1...2...Destroyer kicks out! Frustrated, Aries pulled Destroyer up off the canvas and whipped him off the ropes, going for a big boot to the face. Destroyer ducked at the last minute and before Aries could turn around Destroyer had grabbed him by the back of the neck. Hoisting Aries up in the air with his last bit of strength, Destroyer delivered an inverted chokeslam before covering Aries for the three count.

Wood: You can add one more name to the card at Best of the Best, and that name is The Destroyer. A huge win over Aries here tonight has set up The Destroyer vs. Malice in the semi-finals of the tournament to determine the number one contender to the MMP world title. Those two will meet in approximately four weeks time to move one step closer to a shot at the world title. We still have no update on the condition of The Ryno, although Steve Lewin has been sent to the hospital to try and get an update on the condition of the popular MMP star who, earlier tonight, it appeared tried to commit suicide. We hope to have a report for you before we go off the air tonight, but in the meantime we send you now to our main event. Captain Patrick O'Conner puts the MMP world title on the line against The Joker's Child, with the winner to go on to Moonlight to face John Korso for the belt. It's main event time here on Saturday Night Slams!

MMP World Championship Match
CAPTAIN PATRICK O'CONNER (C) vs. THE JOKER'S CHILD

The challenger was introduced first, being accompanied to the ring by Ponch and the mysterious woman in the black wedding dress that had been with Joker over the past several weeks. Joker was carrying his tag belt over his shoulder and was smoking a cigar as he made his way out. O'Conner, however, had some backup of his own, coming to the ring with the new MMP television champion DNL as well as Zane and Charles. As soon as O'Conner entered the ring Zane and Charles attacked Ponch, obviously remembering how Ponch had interfered in Joker's previous matches with both DNL and the Captain. Before long, however, other Family members came running down to the ring. The Saint, Psychotic Sam, Soul Crusher, and Mike the Giant Retard all came to Ponch's aid, attacking DNL, Zane, and Charles on the outside. O'Conner tried to alert DNL to what was going on, but while his back was turned Joker attacked him with the tag belt, nailing the Captain in the back of the head. The referee grabbed the belt away from Joker, who started stomping repeatedly on the back of the world champion. The match didn't last very long as Joker soon called Sam into the ring, holding the semi-conscious Captain upright and allowing Sam to nail him in the forehead with the MMP/GWF grand championship belt that The Family had stolen from the MMP offices a little over a week earlier. The referee quickly called for the bell and disqualified Joker, but that didn't matter to The Family. Sam slapped the Psycho's Punishment on O'Conner while Mike, now in the ring, paraded around the fallen world champion with a sign that read "Chicken Chow Victim #4". While all this was going on, Michael pushed Virus Richards down the aisle in his wheelchair. The Family was distracted by their assault on O'Conner and DNL, and never saw Virus being wheeled around the ring. Virus shouted at Michael to grab Joker's tag belt from the corner of the ring, which he did obediently. Now with both tag belts in his lap, Virus ordered Michael to wheel him back to the dressing room. The attack in the ring continued as the screen fades to black.
