GEORGE ACHICA vs. LEONARD “CUP” COOPER

Cup was introduced first, and was accompanied by his new stablemates, the Cec’s World Order. He was wearing a “CWO for Rice” shirt and was again trying to sell “Hyoga the Universal Champion” t-shirts to the fans but, just like the last time, there were no takers. George’s intro interrupted Cup’s shenanigans, as the massive Samoan made his way to the ring with John Korso. Cup, smelling strongly of whiskey, stumbled into the ring and called George on, but when he made his first move, he let out a loud *burp* and fell face first to the canvas. George just shook his head and grabbed Cup, flooring him with a thunderous headbutt and dropping the big leg across Cup’s sternum before making the cover for the three count. Korso and George quickly made their way to the back, but as they entered the dressing room area, they were ambushed by Psychotic Sam and The Joker’s Child! Joker pouned on George and Sam slammed Korso into the arena wall before a group of referees was sent in to break up the skirmish.

Outside the arena, The Ryno is seen arriving in his custom El Camino. As he walked into the arena, a black Mercury Sable came screeching up and nailed Ryno from behind! Ryno rolled over the hood before hitting the pavement with a loud thud. The car stopped and Onyx Cooper came running out.

ONYX: "Oh my god!!!! What a horrible accident!!! I'll go inside and get help, RYNO!!!"

Onyx took towards the arena, but stopped outside the entrance and went around the corner to a hot dog vendor, completely forgetting about the fallen Ryno. As Ryno writhed in agony, another car pulled up. Out of the second car came The Bootlegger, who was carrying a gym bag. He rushed over to Ryno and tried to help him up.

BOOTLEGGER: "Oh my god, RYNO, here let me help you up, man."

After helping the groggy Ryno to his feet, Bootlegger pulled a taser gun out of his bag and jammed it into Ryno’s chest, laughing loudly as his opponent for later in the evening collapsed in spasms. He then placed the taser back into his bag and nonchalantly entered the building, whistling to himself as a pair of paramedics came rushing out to check on Ryno.

MMP Saturday Night Slams is on the air! The MMP Coliseum is packed to capacity for tonight’s event. Commentators Jerry Wood and Ray Brewer are at ringside.

Wood: Welcome, everyone, to MMP Saturday Night Slams! I’m Jerry Wood alongside Ray Brewer where tonight we will see the first two qualifying matches in the Hall of Fame tournament. Four of the biggest names in the MMP will be in singles competition with two tournament slots on the line. We’ve got the reigning MMP extreme champion, The Destroyer, set to take on the man who just three days ago won the genocidal warfare match at Vindication, “Corrupt” John Korso. And then from there in the main event it will be a lumberjack match as The Bootlegger and The Ryno look to settle the score once and for all as they hook up with a spot in the Hall of Fame tournament on the line.

Brewer: Don’t forget we have two championships on the line tonight as well. Soul Crusher, the new TV champion, will put the title on the line tonight against Wolverine, a man who has had his ups and downs in the MMP in recent months. Those ups, however, have included two runs as the midwestern champion, and should make Wolverine a very formidable challenger for Soul Crusher’s title tonight.

Wood: Add to that the big four way elimination match for the midwestern title and you have the makings for an outstanding broadcast that we have for you tonight. We kick things off here at the MMP Coliseum with two of the top newcomers in the MMP going one on one. These two men have been exchanging some very heated words over the past week or so and tonight they step into the ring to settle it. “Amazing” Andrew Peters and Hassan Abu Saada open things up on SNS!

”AMAZING” ANDREW PETERS vs. HASSAN ABU SAADA

Blue lights shone down on the entrance was as Peters and Amanda made their way to the ring. Peters stopped to ask Amanda if she thought she’d be able to tolerate the smell at ringside tonight before getting between the ropes to wait on his adversary. Hassan’s music played and the “Egyptian Monarch” made his way down, being carried to the ring on a golden throne carried by several of his slaves. The slaves very carefully carried their master down the aisle before setting him down beside the apron, allowing Hassan to slowly step through the ropes. The hatred between the two men was evident right from the start as Peters and Hassan wasted no time in locking up. Hassan, however, gained the early advantage, whipping his opponent hard to the turnbuckle. He quickly followed Peters in, nailing him with a flurry of chops to the chest as another MMP newcomer, The Advocate, made his way down to ringside. Peters turned the tide with a thumb to the eye, exchanging positions with Hassan and delivering some chops of his own to the chest of his opponent. He then nailed Hassan with three stiff punches to the head, but the Egyptian still didn’t go down. Almost out of desperation, Peters climbed to the second rope and nailed a flying clothesline that finally took the big man down. With the man down, Peters connected with a series of kneedrops before bouncing off the ropes and going for an elbowdrop, but Hassan moved out of the way and Peters went crashing hard to the canvas. The miss gave Hassan an opening, and he took full advantage, pulling Peters up and delivering a thunderous headbutt. He then scooped Peters up and slammed him down before dropping a leg across the sternum. Hassan pulled Peters up again, but Peters caught him with a jawbreaker, staggering Hassan long enough for Peters to run the ropes and put Hassan down with a high knee. Peters then took the match to the outside, jumping out through the middle ropes and pulling Hassan’s legs out around the ringpost. He slammed Hassan’s right leg into the post and went for the figure four around the steel but Hassan shrugged him off, sending Peters hard into the steel safety rail. Hassan followed Peters out to the floor and slammed him into the steel ring steps before sending Peters back into the ring. Pulling Peters up, Hassan tossed his opponent off the ropes and pulled him up in the Koran Thump. He swung Peters around, but before he could execute the move, Peters used his strength to pull himself up and began pounding away on the head of his opponent. Hassan was dazed, and a rake of the face from Peters broke him free for the devastating finishing move. As Hassan tried to shake the effects, Peters quickly climbed to the top rope and nailed Hassan with a flying bulldog! Peters then rolled Hassan over and made the cover, hooking the leg for the three count to deal Hassan his first loss in the MMP. The celebration was short lived, however, as Hassan’s group of slaves quickly rushed the ring, attacking Peters with Hassan’s golden scepter. More officials had to be sent out to break up the attack and escort the victorious Peters back to the dressing room.

Wood: What a win for “Amazing” Andrew Peters! He and Hassan have arguably been the most successful men to join the MMP over the past couple of months, and with this victory Peters appears to be on his way to a very prosperous career. He is tentatively scheduled to face Dr. No Limit for the midwestern championship at Moonlight, and if he keeps on this pace he could well pose a very tough challenge for DNL when we go to Washington for our October PPV.

Brewer: If DNL can hold onto the belt tonight and go into that match with Peters at the PPV, he’s gonna have a tough test on his hands. You know I’m not usually one to buy into newcomers very quickly, but after Peters went over those four guys at the PPV and now pulling out the win over Hassan Abu Saada, I think he may very well be on the rise like you suggest. Winning a title this early in a man’s career will be difficult. I guess we’ll see if Andrew Peters is up to the challenge.

Wood: We’ve got another battle of men who were involved in that pentagon match this past Wednesday up next here tonight on SNS. We saw The Advocate out at ringside during Hassan’s match, but up next he’s gonna have a tough battle on his hands as he takes on Malice.

MALICE vs. THE ADVOCATE

With The Advocate waiting in the ring, Malice made his way out to a very mixed reaction from the sold out crowd. Before Malice could get to ringside, however, he was ambushed from behind by Hassan Abu Saada! Hassan nailed Malice with a clothesline from behind before picking the man up and delivering a chokeslam on the concrete. Malice had the wind knocked right out of him as Hassan tossed him under the bottom rope to the feet of the waiting Advocate. The Advocate, taking full advantage of Hassan’s assist, stood Malice up only to take him right back down with a flying lariat off the ropes. He then went to the top rope and nailed a flying elbow across the back of Malice, the back that had already been injured thanks to Hassan’s chokeslam. With Malice in bad shape, Advocate went for the finish. He pulled Malice up and held him in a hanging vertical suplex, turning it into the Closing Argument. Hooking the leg, The Advocate scored the pin for his first MMP win.

Wood: A very dominant performance from The Advocate tonight in earning his first victory here in the MMP, although I must say it looks like Hassan Abu Saada played a big role in the wrestling attorney pulling it out here this evening.

Brewer: There certainly seems to be a big rivalry brewing between these newcomers. First we saw The Advocate at ringside during the Peters/Hassan match, then right here we see Hassan assaulting Malice before his match and possibly costing him a victory. Things are really heating up between these rookies.

Wood: The first of two championship matches is on tap next with the TV title set to be defended. Soul Crusher, the new champion, has been on quite a roll since making his return to the MMP about a month ago but tonight he faces his toughest challenge when he puts his title on the line against Wolverine.

MMP Television Championship Match
SOUL CRUSHER (C) vs. WOLVERINE

Realizing the significance of this match, the two combatants locked up right away. Wolverine used his power advantage to gain the early upper hand, backing Crusher back into the corner and delivering a series of rapid kneelifts to the midsection to try and knock the wind out of his German opponent. He then caught Soul Crusher with a couple of elbowsmashes to the side of the head before taking him over with a hiptoss that sent Crusher half way across the ring. Soul Crusher quickly rebounded back to his feet, only to be taken down with a running clothesline from the challenger. Seeing that the momentum was clearly on Wolverine’s side, Soul Crusher rolled out to the floor to catch a breather. He quickly slid back in and caught the advancing Wolverine with a solid punch to the midsection before going after Wolverine’s knees with a flurry of kicks to the joints. After dropping Wolverine with a simple legdive takedown, Soul Crusher started dropping elbows across the injured joint before applying a figure four leglock. Soul Crusher used his leg strength to apply additional pressure to Wolverine, but it was too early in the match to go for a hold like this. Wolverine still had plenty of fight in him and managed to roll over to the ropes, grabbing the bottom strand to force the break. Not wanting to risk a disqualification, Soul Crusher immediately released the hold, but did not let up in his offense. He stomped away on Wolverine before picking him up and whipping him hard into the corner. Crusher followed his opponent in and climbed the buckle, sending right hands into Wolverine’s forehead as the crowd counted along. After delivering the tenth blow Crusher stopped momentarily to bad mouth his opponent, but that proved to be a costly mistake. Out of desperation Wolverine shrugged Soul Crusher off, sending him over the top rope and all the way out to the floor, landing him throat first across the safety rail! After taking a couple of moments to catch his breath Wolverine followed Crusher out to the floor. With the champion gasping for air, Wolverine hoisted Crusher in the air and dropped him face first on the announce table. He then slapped his big right hand around Crusher’s throat and hoisted him up in the air, nailing him with a vicious chokeslam on the concrete floor! The crowd cheered loudly as Crusher hit the cement. Sensing that victory could be near, Wolverine tossed Soul Crusher back into the ring. Then, out of nowhere, Masked Menace X came running down to the ring with a steel chair! MMX wound up and delivered a crushing blow across Wolverine’s back with the chair, but he did it right in front of the referee. The official called for the bell, awarding the match to Wolverine by disqualification. MMX slammed Wolverine into the safety rail but Soul Crusher, realizing that MMX had possibly cost him a win, didn’t stand idly by. He pulled a pair of brass knuckles out of his tights and got down to the floor, delivering a loaded punch to the head of MMX that dropped the former TV champ. Soul Crusher grabbed his belt and walked out the champion, but it was clearly not the way he wanted to hold onto the title.

Wood: So Soul Crusher retains the TV title but comes out of tonight on the losing end thanks to interference from Masked Menace X. Wolverine can’t be happy with this outcome either. He looked to be on his way to capturing the championship before MMX showed up.

Brewer: I’m sure both men will be looking for a return match to settle this issue without any outside interference. The way those two had been going at each other over the past couple of weeks, I’d find it hard to believe that their rivalry would go away after a controversial ending like this.

Wood: Up next we have a meeting of two of the top factions in the MMP today as The Congregation and The Family meet head on in a one-on-one contest. Super Cupid, the leader of The Congregation, is set to take on the newest member of The Family, a man who shocked the whole wrestling world by joining The Joker’s Child’s stable at Vindication, Tao Te Ching. This will be Tao’s biggest test to date, as Cupid has accomplished a great deal during his time in the MMP including two midwestern championships and a run as one half of the tag team champions. Is Tao up to the challenge? Let’s go to the ring.

SUPER CUPID vs. TAO TE CHING

With Super Cupid waiting in the ring, Tao made his way down the aisle. He was wearing a full Samurai outfit and had The Saint by his side for his first outing as a member of The Family. Tao wasted little time going after Cupid, whipping him into the ropes and nailing him with a solid dropkick that caught Cupid flush on the jaw. He then whipped Cupid into the corner. Cupid hit hard and bounced back towards his opponent, who caught him coming in with a solid superkick to the face that floored the leader of The Congregation. Tao stayed on him, nailing a spinning DDT before going to the top rope and connecting with the Essential Flash. Tao then made the cover and hooked the leg for the three count.

Wood: A dominant performance tonight from Tao Te Ching! It looks like alligning himself with The Family might have been a step in the right direction for the oriental star. He handled Super Cupid, a veteran of the MMP, with relative ease here tonight and pulled off what has to be considered somewhat of an upset. We’ve got another championship match on the horizon as four top stars are set to do battle in an elimination match for the midwestern championship. Dr. No Limit has looked impressive defending the title over the past couple of months but tonight he puts the belt on the line against against three men. Can DNL hold onto the title despite these odds? Let’s go to the ring to find out.

MMP Midwestern Championship
Four Way Elimination Match
DR. NO LIMIT (C) vs. ARIES vs. HOT CRIMSON vs. HYOGA

DNL and Hot Crimson were already waiting in the ring when Aries was introduced. Making the way to the ring for his first match since his injury for the match with Psychotic Sam, Aries was still walking with the aid of a cane but had that old look of determination in his eyes. Before he could get to the ring, however, Hyoga came running out from the back and nailed Aries in his bad leg with a metal pipe. Aries dropped his cane and stumbled forward, getting caught by Hyoga with a drop toehold that sent the “Beast from Greece” crashing head first into the steel ring steps. He then grabbed Aries’ cane and used it to choke the big man before rolling Aries into the ring and tagging the reigning midwestern champion, Dr. No Limit, into the match. Recognizing Aries’ injury, DNL quickly slid out to the floor and pulled Aries’ legs around the steel ring post, slamming the bad leg repeatedly against the steel before making the exchange once again with Hyoga. While the exchange was being made Aries tried to roll out of the ring, but Hyoga cut him off and stomped on the big man’s back. He then reached out through the ropes and tried to pull Aries into the ring, but it was then that Hyoga realized that Aries wasn’t trying to escape – he was reaching for his cane. Aries swung around quickly and jammed the tip of the cane into Hyoga’s forehead, dropping Hyoga to the canvas before he used the ropes to pull himself back to a vertical base. Aries nailed Hyoga with a couple of hard right hands, but then turned his attention to DNL and sucker-punched the midwestern champ, drawing him into the ring. The referee rushed over to cut DNL off, allowing Aries to use a boot across the throat of Hyoga as a choke. When the official finally turned his attention back to the match Aries pulled Hyoga up and tossed him off the ropes, catching him on the rebound with a big boot to the face. With Hyoga beaten, Aries gave the sign for the Godly Drop. Pulling Hyoga up, Aries set the Swiss star up for his finisher, but Hyoga dropped down to his knees and caught Aries with a low blow. The big man doubled over and Hyoga capitalized, hooking Aries’ arms behind his back and going for a pedigree. Aries, however, had a counter of his own. Yanking his arms free, Aries picked Hyoga up and delivered an inverted atomic drop, followed quickly by the Godly Drop. He then rolled Hyoga over and covered him for the pin, making Hyoga the first man sent back to the showers. Aries didn’t get much of a break, however, as almost as soon as the referee made the three count, Hot Crimson was in the ring. Catching Aries’ leg with a spear tackle, Crimson started working on the injured limb before tagging DNL in. The two men then double teamed the injured Aries, apparently focusing on getting rid of the Hall of Famer and not worrying about one another. While the referee tried to usher Crimson back to his corner, DNL went down to the floor and grabbed a steel chair. Then, holding the chair under his body, DNL nailed Aries with a running legdrop, all behind the back of the referee, who was tied up with Crimson. The champion then isolated Aries’ bad leg and dropped three elbows across the joint before applying a figure four leglock. The former world champ shouted out in agony, but refused to give it up. Aries tried to crawl towards the ropes, but just before he could reach the bottom strand to force the break, Crimson got back in the ring and delivered another legdrop. Again the official had to escort Crimson to the apron, but when he turned back Aries had stopped moving. DNL still had the figure four on and the ref counted 1…2…3, taking the match down to one on one between Crimson and DNL. Crimson didn’t wait for DNL to even release the figure four, rushing the ring and nailing the champion with an elbowdrop before applying an armbar submission hold. DNL powered his way back to his feet and freed himself by hiptossing Crimson out towards the center of the ring. Crimson shot back to his feet and DNL charged with a clothesline, but Crimson ducked out of the way and caught DNL with an insigury kick to the back of the head. DNL collapsed face first, but Crimson wasn’t done yet. He pulled DNL up and went for a huracanrana, but the champion turned it into a powerbomb. Both men were down as the match wore on. The referee began to administer a ten count, but it was looking like the match might have to be stopped. Suddenly, DNL started moving. At seven he pulled himself up and grabbed Crimson by the head and scooped him up in the Limit Driver, but Crimson started kicking and rolled out of DNL’s grasp. Landing on his feet, Crimson spun DNL around and caught him with a kick to the midsection followed by his patented double-arm DDT! Rolling DNL over, Crimson made the cover for the three count to win the midwestern title. As the referee passed him the belt, Crimson demanded the mic:

Hot Crimson: Tis time for the prophecy to be fulfilled. Those who oppose us, shall be swept into pure pain and carnage. I experienced defeat after defeat when I tried to oppose the Cult. My past is sinful, and I hope to make up for my past as I give my master, MY GOD, an offering here tonight. I, nor any Cult member will cease to praise the holy name of "Cult Master" until he garnishes the MMP WORLD TITLE! The Cult now holds three of five single's title belts. Lord Daark and his Universal, the Destroyer and his Extreme, and now me with Midwestern. Now I ask you, Cult Master, God, to accept my offering here tonight. I have but little to give to one as yourself, which is why I offer by most valuable asset. I offer you my life, and my soul.

Cult minions then started making their way down the aisle, pulling out Daark’s branding iron. The minions then branded the symbol of The Cult squarely on Crimson’s chest.

Hot Crimson: This shall serve to remind me that the Cult is the reason for my being here today. And let me make it clear to all you sinful skinsac's full of blood. If you oppose us, YOU WILL LOSE, you will lose more than matches, you may lose your sole. And if me and Harbinger have anything to do with it, you will lose a couple quarts of your precious blood!

Wood: Words spoken from the new MMP midwestern champion, Hot Crimson. Crimson has to be commended on tonight’s victory, outlasting three other top contenders to the title to secure the gold from Dr. No Limit. As Crimson said, this will only elevate the status of The Cult, which has been rising by the week over the past couple of months. Speaking of The Cult, let’s take you now to some footage that our cameras captured earlier this evening before taking you to our next match.

The camera picks up a shot of The Destroyer, who is entering the arena amongst a crowd of Cult members. He has the MMP extreme championship belt displayed proudly over his shoulder. Suddenly, out from around the corner comes Masked Menace X who is carrying a lava lamp. He barged right up to Destroyer, pushing his way through the crowd, and began demanding that Destroyer sign the contract for their proposed match at Moonlight. Before Destroyer could respond, MMX nailed him in the face with the lava lamp and delivered a DDT on the concrete floor. The minions quickly swarmed MMX, but the former TV champ just fought his way through, sending minions flying in every direction as he headed back to his dressing room.

Wood: That was captured about an hour ago and we understand that Destroyer had to receive medical attention. Word is that he may have received a mild concussion, but since the extreme champion has refused to go to the hospital, we have not been able to confirm that report. He’s got a big match ahead of him tonight as he takes on “Corrupt” John Korso, with the winner advancing into the Hall of Fame tournament where they will attempt to win the shot at the MMP world title at our December PPV event, Holiday Horrors, which will take place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Let’s go back to the ring.

Hall of Fame Tournament – Qualifying Match
”CORRUPT” JOHN KORSO vs. THE DESTROYER

Korso arrived first with George, followed closely by Destroyer, Harbinger, and many Cult minions. Both men appeared to be going into this match at less than one hundred percent – Korso as a result of the grueling genocidal warfare match that he had won a few days earlier, Destroyer thanks to the attack earlier in the evening by Masked Menace X. It appeared in the early going that Destroyer’s injuries were perhaps not as serious as the broadcasters had hinted as he went right after Korso, flooring him with a vicious headbutt. Korso seemed caught off guard by the sudden attack from Destroyer and didn’t have a chance to regroup as Destroyer was all over him without a break. Pulling Korso up, Destroyer whipped his opponent across the ring and caught him coming off the ropes with a big elbow smash that caught Korso square in the face. Tossing Korso off the ropes again, Destroyer then caught Korso with a backdrop that sent him over the top rope and out to the floor, landing him right at the feet of George Achica. George helped Korso back to his feet and, after offering his boss some encouragement, helped Korso back between the ropes. Destroyer moved in but Korso was ready for him, catching the big man with a thumb to the eye before using a pair of lariats to put the extreme champion down. Korso then pulled Destroyer back to his feet but made the mistake of trying to use power against his much larger opponent. He tried to scoop Destroyer up in a bodyslam but the weight of the massive Destroyer was too much for Korso to hold and the two men collapsed to the canvas. Destroyer landed on top of Korso in a pinning position and got a two count before Korso managed to sneak his left shoulder off the canvas to keep himself in it. Destroyer shook his head as he got back to his feet and went for a running lariat but Korso ducked out of the way and caught Destroyer from behind with a chop block. The big man was brought down to one knee, and Korso went right to work. Using his quickness to his advantage, Korso laid into the big man’s ribs with a flurry of mafia-style kicks, gradually wearing Destroyer down to the canvas. He then shoved Destroyer out under the bottom rope and took the action to the floor. After sending George to cut off the Cult minions, Korso pulled back the mats and set Destroyer up for a DDT, looking to further the damage done by MMX earlier in the evening. Korso sinched Destroyer in but the big man blocked it, sending Korso overhead with another backdrop. Both men collapsed to the floor and the referee began to count them out. At six the two combatants started to move. Korso got back to his feet first, but when he went to pull Destroyer up, he was met with a stiff elbow shot to the midsection. The extreme champ pulled Korso up in a bearhug, ramming him back-first into the steel ring post before depositing Korso back into the ring. Destroyer soon followed, but something was holding him back. As he was rolling under the bottom rope, Destroyer’s leg was grabbed from behind by George Achica. Using his more than four hundred pound frame as an anchor, George held Destroyer in place while Korso climbed to the second rope and delivered a flying splash. The extreme champ had the wind knocked out of him, and Korso was in control. Pulling Destroyer up, Korso went for the Hollow Point, but Destroyer countered and took Korso over with a northern lights suplex into a bridge! The referee shot down into position for the 1…2…Korso kicked out! George breathed a huge sigh of relief as his boss barely escaped defeat. That sigh of relief quickly disappeared, however, when Destroyer caught Korso with an inverted chokeslam. This time there was no escape for Korso, and Destroyer covered him for the three count to earn a spot in the tournament.

Wood: The Destroyer has become the first man to qualify for the Hall of Fame Tournament, and will now have a chance to earn a return match against Captain Patrick O’Conner for the world title in December.

Brewer: This has been an incredible run The Destroyer has been on over the past thirty days. How many people in the MMP can say that, in less than a month, they defeated Psychotic Sam, The Ryno, and “Corrupt” John Korso? None, that’s how man. I tell ya, I don’t know if there will be any stopping this guy in the tournament. He’s gonna face either Aries or Daark in the first round, and I don’t know if either of those two men will be able to stop him.

Wood: Well, with one slot in the tournament already decided, it’s time to decide a second. The ringside area is filling up with lumberjacks, so that can only mean one thing. It’s time for our main event between The Bootlegger and The Ryno.

Hall of Fame Tournament Qualifier
Lumberjack Match
THE BOOTLEGGER vs. THE RYNO

When all was said and done, there were eleven lumberjacks surrounding the ring area, including world champion Captain Patrick O’Conner and the tag team champions, Virus Richards and The Joker’s Child. Other lumberjacks included Aries, “Amazing” Andrew Peters, Dr. No Limit, Mr. Beumont, Brick Stevens, Onyx Cooper, Psychotic Sam, and Lardzilla. With everyone in place, Bootlegger made his way down to the ring accompanied by Betty, Daphne, and Veronica. He dismissed them all after giving each a peck on the cheek and entered the ring. Waving mockingly at O’Conner and asking how Paulina was doing, Bootlegger demanded a mic:

Bootlegger: "Well, folks, earlier this evening we had a series of tragic and unforeseen events occur almost simultaneously to our little friend, the RYNO. First he was struck head on by some maniac driver who's identity we still have not been able to ascertain. Then he was almost immediately struck by lightning before he even hit the pavement. I know how horrible this is and I being the honest upstanding member of society that I am, will now implore that everyone in the arena stand up and accompany me as I lead us in a prayer for the RYNO."

Bootlegger patiently waited as the crowd stood up and started pelting the ring with garbage. He then began to pray aloud.

Bootlegger: "Jesus, please watch over our injured little buddy, pleibeian though he may be, and make sure that someday, hopefully far in the future, he will return to once again compete with us, his everloving peers here in the MMP."

Bootlegger then ended his prayer by wiping away a tear and turning to the referee.

Bootlegger: "Ok, ref, go ahead and raise my hand."

As Bootlegger tossed the mic aside, he was startled as he heard the sound of Ryno’s music blaring over the loudspeaker. Ryno wasted little time in charging down to the ring, steel chair in hand. Setting the chair in the corner Ryno slid quickly under the bottom rope and bull rushed Bootlegger into the corner, hitting him with several knees to the midsection before backing out and catching him with an avalanche. Ryno had apparently recovered from the attack at the beginning of the evening and was going full throttle after Barlotta. While Ryno choked Bootlegger on the top rope, Hyoga came running through the crowd. Hopping over the rail, Hyoga nailed Aries in the back of the leg with a steel chair and the two men brawled all the way to the back. Ryno appeared to be distracted by the fight on the outside, and left himself susceptible to a thumb to the eye from his hated rival. With Ryno blinded, Bootlegger delivered a desperation DDT before rolling Ryno out of the ring to Virus Richards and The Family, who were more than ready to help Bootlegger out by attacking his opponent. Barlotta caught a much needed breather in the ring, but it didn’t last as long as he would have liked. Wielding his trusty shileleagh club, O’Conner took out the CWO members around the ring and then went after Virus, giving Ryno a chance to fight back. After trading blows with Sam and Joker Ryno managed to get back in the ring, but he ran right into a waiting Bootlegger, who applied an abdominal stretch. The action on the outside then started to heat up. Grabbing the chair that Hyoga had used against Aries earlier in the match, Sam went after O’Conner, nailing dropping the world champion with a well placed shot to the back of the head. All ten of the remaining lumberjacks soon errupted into a wild brawl, almost taking the attention of the fans off of the match in the ring. On the inside Bootlegger held Ryno in the abdominal stretch, using the ropes for leverage. The referee eventually saw what was going on and forced Bootlegger to release the hold, but the vile Italian simply re-adjusted his position and turned the move into a face slam, driving Ryno face-first into the canvas. With the match well in hand, Bootlegger applied a camel clutch. After it became apparent that Ryno was not going to submit Bootlegger released the hold, slapping Ryno across the back of the head mockingly as he let go. Pulling Ryno up, Bootlegger tossed him off the ropes and picked him up for his trademark fallaway slam but Ryno floated over, landing on his feet behind his opponent. Spinning Barlotta around, Ryno nailed him with a boot to the midsection and lifted him up in the air, delivering the Ryno Charge over the top rope, dropping Bootlegger in amongst the brawling lumberjacks!! The crowd burst into cheers as Bootlegger hit the concrete, but Ryno wasn’t done there. Going over to the corner, Ryno grabbed the steel chair that he had brought to ringside and set it up in the middle of the ring. As Bootlegger got back to his feet amongst the brawling outsiders, Ryno came flying over the top rope with a triple jump plancha, sending not only his opponent Barlotta, but also Andrew Peters and Dr. No Limit into the safety rail. With the action on the floor going fast and furious, “Stunning” Steve Simon ran down from the dressing room. Pushing past the lumberjacks, Simon tore into Bootlegger with a vicious flurry of right hands, pounding Barlotta until the former universal champion’s forehead had been busted open. He then tossed Bootlegger back into the ring, telling Ryno to go and finish him off. Ryno wasn’t quite sure what to make of the assist, but he took it and followed Bootlegger in. Just then, Onyx Cooper and Lardzilla jumped up on the ring apron, each at opposite corners, distracting the referee. The ref went over and sent Cooper to the floor, but while his back was turned, Ryno lifted Bootlegger up in the Ryno Charge. Before he could drop him, however, Bootlegger nailed Ryno with a punch to the forehead. Inexplicably, Ryno dropped Bootlegger and collapsed to the canvas. It wasn’t until the camera showed Bootlegger tucking a pair of brass knuckles into his tights that the fans saw what happened. Both men were slow getting up, but Bootlegger was up first and caught Ryno with a kick to the midsection. He then delivered the Heart’s Desire, dropping the back of Ryno’s head across the seat of the steel chair, which was still set up from Ryno’s plancha. As Bootlegger made the cover, Cooper jumped down from the apron. The referee turned around and made the three count as the screen fades to black.
