THE JOKER'S CHILD vs. GEORGE ACHICA

Achica came to the ring first, accompanied by his tag team partner Benjamin Childs and the usual trio of Zane, Charles, and Thomas. He stood patiently in the ring while his opponent, The Joker's Child, came down the aisle with Ponch. As always Joker was smoking a cigar as he approached the ring, even bringing it into the ring with him before the match got underway. Ponch hurled some colorful remarks towards George from the floor, distracting the big man long enough for Joker to run over and jam the lit end of his cigar into the Samoan's forehead!! The ref called for the bell to get the match underway as Joker charged Achica with a clothesline. George ducked out of the way and countered with a series of heavy right hands, backing Joker towards the corner. A headbutt sent the clown back against the buckle, and George whipped his opponent across the ring into the opposite corner. He followed Joker in with an attempted avalanche, but Joker moved out of the way and George hit nothing but turnbuckle. Joker capitalized quickly, suplexing George over and dropping a pair of elbows across the chest. He then began viciously stomping George around the head and neck before making a cover, but George kicked out after only two. Joker was livid! He started screaming at the referee, insisting that he should have had a three count. His tirade then began to include some insulting remarks about the times he had beaten Childs in the past, drawing Childs up on the apron. Joker shoved the referee into Childs and ordered the ref to get him down, while on the other side of the ring, Ponch tossed a pair of brass knuckles in to Joker. The clown put the knucks on, but by this time Achica was back to his feet. He wound up and swung a punch towards Joker, but Joker ducked and countered with a right hand of his own, a right hand that was aided by the presence of the foriegn object. George went down hard and Joker made a quick cover, calling the ref over to make the three count.

Winner: THE JOKER'S CHILD (pin)

MMP Saturday Night Slams is on the air! More than 15, 000 fans are jammed into the MMP Coliseum for tonight's event. Commentators Jerry Wood and Ray Brewer are at ringside.

Wood: Welcome, everyone, to MMP Saturday Night Slams!! I'm Jerry Wood alongside Ray Brewer, and what a lineup we have for you here tonight on SNS. Three titles will be decided. All the big stars are in the arena. We've just witnessed The Joker's Child pulling out a controversial victory over George Achica, and that promises to be just the start of the chaos here at the Coliseum as we head down the road towards Homicidal Tendencies.

Brewer: It should be a great show indeed, but the match I can't wait for is the universal championship match. The Regulator one-on-one with Benjamin Childs. Childs has gotten really cocky now that he's been able to win a couple of matches, and he thinks he can come out here acting all tough by trying to push me around and infringe on my constitutionally protected right to call these matches as I see them. Childs was the beneficiary of a horrendous call by the referee a couple of weeks ago against Andrew Peters, and that's what I called. If he doesn't like it, that's too bad. Tonight, though, I think we'll see his mouth shut for good when he gets in the ring with Onyx Cooper.

Wood: The TV and midwestern titles are on the line as well. The Destroyer will go one- on-one with The Ryno later tonight. Also we'll see "Amazing" Andrew Peters defending his title against the man he beat for the belt a couple of months ago, referring of course to the returning Crimson. The Cult Master, Virus Richards, and Aries are all in action tonight, plus we will see the return to the ring of Masked Man X, who was recently cleared of the allegations of his involvement with terrorist activities. We kick things off tonight with two men who have both been picking up momentum as of late in the MMP. Hyoga is fresh off a victory last week against Wolverine, while his opponent, The Cloaked Shroud, remains undefeated since his arrival in the MMP several weeks back. Will Hyoga be the man to stop the streak, or will The Shroud prevail and keep his perfect record intact as he moves up the rankings? Let's go to the ring for our opening bout!

THE CLOAKED SHROUD vs. HYOGA

Hyoga came to the ring accompanied by Milov Scorpio and two of Scorpio's men. Around his waist was the tag team championship belt that he had stolen from Wolverine after their match the week before. The three escorts remained on the outside while Hyoga posed with the tag title belt, much to the displeasure of his opponent, who stood on the other side of the ring. He eventually became annoyed with Hyoga's flamboyance and attacked Hyoga to get the match underway, nailing the man with a series of punches to the head. After a rake of the eyes and a headbutt Shroud nailed Hyoga with a running lariat, knocking Hyoga to the canvas. Hyoga quickly shot back to his feet, but seemed surprised that Shroud was a few paces away as he did. The Shroud raised his arms in the air, challenging Hyoga to a test of strength, which the Swiss star cautiously accepted. Shroud quickly gained control of the challenge and wrestled Hyoga into a wristlock, and then into a single chicken wing. Hyoga, though, reversed the chicken wing before Shroud could get it fully locked on, positioning himself behind Shroud. He then grabbed Shroud around the midsection and took him over with a German suplex, slamming the back of Shroud's head off the canvas. He pulled Shroud up and delivered a kick to the midsection and a butterfly suplex, but instead of following up that combination Hyoga took a moment to pose for the crowd again, drawing a light smattering of boos from the MMP faithful. Shroud pulled himself up but was unable to get a shot in before Hyoga turned around. When Hyoga saw the man he delivered a neckbreaker, and then mounted Shroud and began choking him with his bare hands. The referee stepped in and pulled Hyoga off, warning him that if he did that again he would be disqualified. Hyoga's stubornness, though, gave Shroud the opening he needed. He lunged at Hyoga and took the man's leg out with a chop block, and then began trying to hyperextend the knee. Shroud then pulled Hyoga up and took him over with a snap suplex before taking the match to the air. He climbed the second rope and came off with a kneedrop aimed right for Hyoga's forehead, but Hyoga moved out of the way and Shroud caught nothing but canvas. Both men were down when something strange started happening. A man dressed up in a full Easter bunny costume started making his way down the aisle. He walked a couple of slow laps on the outside of the ring before turning and attacking Milov Scorpio! Scorpio's men were quick to come to his aid, and soon it was a 3-on-1 on the costumed man. The referee turned to the action on the outside and tried to order the men away, but it was to no avail. While the official's back was turned, Wolverine hopped over the safety rail, carrying a 2x4. Both Hyoga and Shroud were getting back to their feet as Wolverine slid in and swung the board, nailing Hyoga right across the back. He quickly escaped to the floor so as not to be seen by the referee, who was just turning around. Hyoga hit the canvas hard just as the official turned back to the match. Shroud didn't know quite how to respond, but after a brief hesitation he grabbed Hyoga's legs and applied a move very similar to the Ghetto Fabulous, the finisher once used by The Ghettoman. The ref checked on Hyoga, who was totally unresponsive thanks to the 2x4 shot. The match was stopped, with The Cloaked Shroud declared the winner. Wolverine, who at this point was watching from the first row of the fans in order to remain hidden from Scorpio and his men, reached over to the timekeeper's table and grabbed his tag title belt that had been stolen by Hyoga before heading out of the arena.

Winner: THE CLOAKED SHROUD

Wood: The war between Wolverine and Hyoga continues, and in the process The Cloaked Shroud keeps his winning streak alive for another week. It looks like Wolverine isn't about to let this thing with Hyoga go so easily.

Brewer: Hey, I'm not generally one to stick up for Wolverine, but I commend what he did tonight. Hyoga is nothing but a thief. He didn't win that belt. He didn't earn it. All he did was grab it from our defenseless little timekeeper, who never seems to stand up to anyone it would seem. Kudos to Wolverine for getting his property back, although when you consider that he did the same thing to Death that Hyoga did to him, well, maybe Wolverine is no better than Hyoga after all.

The camera then abruptly cut backstage, picking up a startling scene. Psychotic Sam was on the back of Inferno, smothering the man with a rag over the face. Inferno slowly slumped to the floor, and once he was down Havoc came in and grabbed him, hoisting him over his shoulder and carrying him away with Sam following closely behind.

Wood: Looks like The Family is up to something here tonight, and it seems to involve Inferno for some reason. We'll see if we can get someone back there to find out what's going on, but in the meantime we take you to our next matchup. Masked Man X returns to action in the MMP tonight, and looks to ease his way back into active competition against Mr. Beumont.

MASKED MAN X vs. MR. BEUMONT

China Town Lee came to the ring first and demanded the microphone so that he could introduce the CWO. He then proceeded to announce the arrival of, accompanied by The Bootlegger and Inferno, The Ultimate Regulator. With that, Mr. Beumont made his way down, followed closely by Welfare William and Hobo Richard. Beumont was wearing The Regulator's battle mask and was waving Loui Slugger around carelessly while yelling at the fans to stop copying him. Welfare Will was dressed in old Samurai armor, the type Inferno used to wear, and had a big sign on his back that read simply "BITCH". Hobo Richard had on a suit of riot gear similar to what Bootlegger wears during hardcore matches. He was eating a big bowl of spaghetti and complaining to the fans about the grease in his hair. As the trio made it to the ring, "My Hero" played over the loudspeaker and MMX came to the ring, accompanied by Mighty Midget. The arrival drew a mixed reaction from the crowd, indicating that many of the fans didn't trust MMX that his return to his old super-hero ways was legitimate. Nevertheless MMX stepped right in the ring and charged Beumont immediately, nailing him with a hard running clothesline. After dropping a knee across Beumont's chest MMX pulled the man back to his feet and hooked him in the X-Plex. While the referee was making the three count, The Joker's Child came down to the ring with a wad of bills in his hand. He ignored the triumphant MMX as MMX left the area and headed right for China Town Lee, apparently trying to bribe Lee and get the CWO on his side in Joker's dispute with Havoc.

Winner: MASKED MAN X (pin)

Wood: A triumphant return to action here tonight for Masked Man X, although I'd say that was to be expected, wouldn't you?

Brewer: Of course. This Beumont thing has gotten really old if you ask me. I'm sure it must have started out as a joke some of the talent relations guys were playing on everyone when Beumont started this nonsense last winter, but this really is getting to be too much. I only hope that sooner or later The Regulator is going to come for his mask and his bat and put this gaggle of loafers out of the MMP.

Wood: There's no doubt in my mind that one of these days The Regulator is going to catch up with the CWO, and when he does, I wouldn't want to be in Mr. Beumont's shoes. What we have next should be of particular interest to long time fans of the MMP. When the MMP held it's first pay per view event back in May 1998, two of the men on the card that night were Virus Richards and Aries. Virus was the reigning TV champion at that time, while Aries competed in one of the best battle royals this company has ever seen. In fact, both men had been involved in the MMP even prior to that point. Richards was one of the first stars to sign with the company when it opened nearly two years ago, and Aries was one of a group of wrestlers from the Hardcore Wrestling Alliance that competed in a series of interpromotional matches that many people feel is what really put the MMP on the map. Despite the longevity of both former world champions, they have done battle in singles competition only once before, headlining the Apocalypse in Arizona pay per view event two summers ago. Aries came out on top that night, but when you consider the more recent history between the two and their brief alliance in The Cartel there's no doubt that Virus will pull out all the stops to avenge that defeat. Virus and Aries are next on Saturday Night Slams!

VIRUS RICHARDS vs. ARIES

Aries came to the ring by himself, and stood patiently in the corner waiting for the extreme champion to arrive. After a few moments the music played and Virus Richards, accompanied by Spikes, came down the aisle. He handed the belt to his bodyguard and stepped into the ring, where he immediately locked up with his former Cartel stablemate, Aries. The lockup didn't last long, with Aries scoring with a quick kneelift to the midsection. Aries then scored with a series of right hands that sent Virus flying back into the turnbuckle, but the extreme champ ducked out of the way of the last punch and moved behind Aries, nailing him with a high knee to the back that sent Aries hed first into the steel ring post. Aries staggered back out towards the middle of the ring as Virus bounced off the ropes and nailed the big man with a roundhouse kick to the chest, knocking Aries off his feet. With the "Beast from Greece" flat on his back, Virus went to work on Aries' knee, wrenching back on the leg twice before dropping an elbow across the joint. He then climbed to the second rope and waited for Aries to get to his feet. Once Aries was up Virus dove off with a shoulder tackle aimed at Aries' knee, but Aries stepped out of the way and Virus landed face first on the canvas. Before Virus could roll out of the way Aries dropped an elbow across the back of his head, slowing the pace of the match down to something more to his liking. Aries stomped Virus in the chest as the extreme champ slowly worked his way towards the ropes. As Virus tried to escape under the bottom rope Aries reached out with his boot and pressed it down across Virus' throat, holding Virus' head just off the apron and choking the man with all his strength. The ref eventually stepped in and started the count on Aries, who reluctantly broke the hold just before the disqualification. He then pulled Virus up and whipped him off the ropes, catching him on the rebound and driving him down with a big backbreaker across Aries' knee. The back was clearly the main focus of Aries' attack, as he then began driving his one good knee into Virus' back. Luckily for Virus he was finally able to roll away and get out under the bottom rope to catch a breather. Aries started to follow Virus out, but as he stepped over the top rope Virus reached up and swatted the upper strand, causing Aries to straddle himself along the cable. He then shoved Aries back into the ring, grabbed him by the leg and dragged him over to the ring post where he slammed Aries' knee, the same one he had attacked earlier in the match, twice against the post. With the referee's count nearing ten Virus slid back into the ring and offered his own critique of the official's counting speed, claiming that the ref was counting at a pace slightly faster than what was prescribed in the MMP rulebook. While this was going on Spikes grabbed a chair away from the announce table and slammed it hard against Aries' knee. He tossed the chair aside and hurried to the other side of the ring so as not to be caught as the ref turned to face Aries once more. Virus grabbed Aries by the head and pulled him back to his feet only to deliver a dropkick to the knee, doing further damage to the joint and putting Aries back down to the mat. The ref stepped in and asked Aries if he wanted to quit, but the big man wasn't about to give it up. While Aries struggled to his feet Virus began walking around the ring, pretending that he was reliant on the ropes to help hold him up, mocking Aries' injury. When he finally went back after Aries he was stopped by a quick rake of the face by the "Beast from Greece". Virus charged, but Aries caught him and slammed him down with a sidewalk slam before giving the signal for the Godly Drop. Aries pulled Virus up and raised him high in the air for the dreaded inverted powerbomb, but Virus slid down the back and dove at Aries' knee, taking him down with another chop block. Aries went down hard and Virus quickly climbed to the top rope, coming off with the Picture Perfect frog splash right across the knee. He then made the cover and scored the three count for the victory.

Winner: VIRUS RICHARDS (pin)

Wood: Another victory for the extreme champion Virus Richards, as he gets ready for his shot at regaining the MMP world heavyweight title from The Bootlegger at Homicidal Tendencies, which is now only a couple of weeks away. He still has one more obstacle to overcome before then, though, and that will be next weekend in Topeka, Kansas when he defends his extreme title at Hardcore Saturday Night. With all the men who have spoken up in recent weeks for a crack at the gold, I'm sure Virus will have his hands full next Saturday.

Brewer: Well, you've got Crimson and you've got Masked Man X. I'm certain that, despite what he says, The Ryno wouldn't turn down another crack at the gold. Whoever it is, it will be a good test for Richards heading into the dangerous game match at the PPV.

Wood: And speaking of Crimson, the two-time former midwestern champion is scheduled up next, trying to win back that championship for an unprecedented third time. Standing in his way, though, is the current champion and the man who ended Crimson's last title run, "Amazing" Andrew Peters. Lets send you back to the ring for the first of our three championship matches.

Before the introductions could begin the camera cut backstage again, this time with Mike the Giant Retard dragging the cameraman down the hall, all the way out to the parking lot where Sam and Havoc stood with Inferno, his legs shackled and his hands cuffed behind his back. Havoc had a microphone:

HAVOC- BOOTLEGGER THIS IS A WARNING AND A LOOK TO YOUR FUTUR. YOU HAVE WHAT IS OURS DO WHAT NO OTHER CHAMPION HAS HAD THE BALLS TO DO. AND GRANT US OUR TITLE SHOT. BUT TO GIVE YOU A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL EXPECT TAKE ALOOK AT THIS.

Sam pulled the barely conscious Inferno up on the hood of a nearby automobile and delivered the Psychotic Smash right onto the windshield, sending Inferno head first through the glass. The Family then left, leaving Inferno a bloody mess.

MMP Midwestern Championship Match
"AMAZING" ANDREW PETERS (C) vs. CRIMSON

Peters came to the ring first accompanied by Amanda, but his entrance was short lived. Crimson followed almost immediately behind his opponent, and once Peters had entered the arena the would-be challenger whacked him across the back with a metal pipe. Peters fell hard to the ground and the referee hurried out from the ring to try and break up the attack. Crimson ignored the official, though, and slammed Peters repeatedly into the steel safety rail, until a gash had been opened on the champion's forehead. Terrified, Amanda began shrieking at Crimson to leave her man alone, but Crimson simply shoved her to the floor and pulled Peters up, delivering the double-arm DDT out on the concrete. He then pulled a pair of brass knuckles out of his trunks, but this brought out a swarm of extra officials, who managed to intervene between Crimson and Peters, sending Crimson back to the dressing room. Crimson looked right into the camera and shouted "This is for you, Virus!!" on his way back to the dressing room, while the officials tended to Peters, who was declared the winner on a disqualification.

Winner: "AMAZING" ANDREW PETERS (DQ)

Wood: Andrew Peters is still the midwestern champion, although from the looks of things he's going to need medical attention from our doctors backstage after that vicious attack by Crimson.

Brewer: I have to say something here, Wood. These little ambush matches seem to be happening with greater and greater frequency around here. It's my belief that if two guys sign for a fight, they fight. You do whatever you have to do to win the match, but you do have the match. All this does is make Crimson look like a coward and give Andrew Peters a cheap check mark in the win column.

Wood: I have to agree with you Ray, to a certain extent. I'm always for seeing two guys get it on to see who the better man is. That's what this great business is all about, and I'm sure that's exactly what we're going to see in this next match, with the MMP TV title on the line. The Destroyer hasn't had much luck in securing challengers to his title since winning the belt a couple of months ago, and some have argued that it will diminish the prestige of the long reign he is starting to put together. That could all change tonight as Destroyer faces a former world champion and a Hall of Famer in The Ryno with the TV belt at stake.

MMP Television Championship Match
THE DESTROYER (C) vs. THE RYNO

With Ryno already waiting in the ring, The Destroyer came down the aisle with his tag team partner Harbinger by his side to prevent against any outside interference. As soon as Destroyer stepped through the ropes Ryno charged right after him, but the challenger was stopped dead in his tracks with a big boot to the face, dropping Ryno to the canvas. After dropping a big elbow across Ryno's chest Destroyer pulled the man back to his feet and slammed him down again. This time he followed up with a big splash, crushing Ryno beneath his near 500-pound frame. He then went to work on Ryno's back, driving repeated knee's into the back until Ryno was clutching his back in agony. Destroyer pulled Ryno up again and this time whipped him across the ring into the far buckle. Ryno hit hard and collapsed to the canvas, where Destroyer rolled him over and placed him face first down on the bottom buckle before jumping high in the air and delivering a vertical splash across the back. With Ryno barely able to defend himself Destroyer hiptossed the man out into the center of the ring, where he applied the Will Breaker. Ryno held on momentarily, but soon had no choice but to surrender, allowing Destroyer to keep the title. Once the match was over Harbinger climbed in the ring and the two Cult members double-teamed Ryno, obvious payback for The Congregation's assault on Crimson a week earlier.

Winner: THE DESTROYER (submission)

Wood: The Destroyer hangs onto the television champion here at the MMP Coliseum, and I must say, a rather impressive victory over The Ryno.

Brewer: Big man put his size to good use there. Nothing fancy, just a straight ahead power assault. I guess Destroyer's not working by the hour here tonight.

Wood: A chance for The Congregation to gain a measure of revenge coming up in our next match. This time it will be Masochrist going head-to-head with a member of The Cult, this time it will be a man who has been virtually unbeatable so far in 2000, and that of course is The Cult Master. A battle of two very accomplished big men is up next.

THE CULT MASTER vs. MASOCHRIST

Harbinger and Destroyer escorted The Cult Master down the aisle for his match against Masochrist, who was alone after the beating Ryno had taken from The Cult just moments earlier. Cult Master ducked a clothesline attempt from Masochrist and nailed the big man with a chop block, giving him the early advantage. Masochrist went down favoring his knee and Cult Master picked up the pace quickly, jumping out to the floor and pulling Masochrist's legs around the steel ring post. He slammed Maso's right leg against the steel twice before applying a figure four leglock around the steel! Maso screamed out in agony as the referee began a count on Cult Master outside the ring. Cult Master released and got back in the ring just in time to break the count, and from there his opponent was easy pickings, having virtually no use of his right leg. He pulled Maso up and whipped him into the turnbuckle, following in with a running clothesline against the corner. Maso staggered out, walking right into Cult Master's waiting arms. Cult Master lifted the man up and delivered a Death Valley Driver, crushing Maso's neck against the canvas, but he wasn't done there. He pulled Maso up and whipped him into the corner again, this time following up with an avalanche. From there he lifted Maso up and set him on the top rope, where Cult Master delivered his patented finisher The Final Prayer. He then made the cover and hooked the leg as the ref counted three. After the match, as the three Cult members were leaving, Crimson came running in through the crowd and began attacking Masochrist with his pipe. The attack continued until the ref threatened to reverse Cult Master's victory if Crimson didn't leave, at which point the intruder promptly left the ring.

Winner: THE CULT MASTER (pin)

Wood: Make that 2-for-2 tonight for The Cult against The Congregation, with both Destroyer and Cult Master picking up very convincing victories tonight, over Ryno and Masochrist respectively. And given the attacks we saw after each match, I would venture to say that The Congregation has been repaid in full for their double-team assault on Crimson that led to a Ryno victory last week.

Brewer: It's funny how things have a way of evening up around here, isn't it? You know I've never been a big fan of Ryno and I'm certainly no fan of The Cult. I'm sure The Congregation thought they were really clever last week using two men to beat one in that falls count anywhere match, but they don't look quite as smart right now, do they? I have a feeling this feud isn't over just yet.

Wood: It's time for our main event here on SNS, the third of our three title matches on the card tonight. The first title match never got underway, and the second was totally dominated by Destroyer, who made quick work of The Ryno. This time the universal championship is at stake as The Regulator puts the gold on the line against a man who has held a variety of championships in the MMP but has never held a title of this standing before, and that is Benjamin Childs. Will Childs' recent winning streak carry him to new heights in the MMP? We're about to find out as we go back to the ring.

MMP Universal Championship Match
THE REGULATOR (C) vs. BENJAMIN CHILDS

The challenger made his way to the ring first, accompanied by his tag team partner George Achica, as well as Zane, Charles, and Thomas. After setting up his customary table Childs headed over to the broadcast position and grabbed a spare headset, speaking as he stared Ray Brewer straight in the face.

Childs: "Ray, I don't know who you think I am but I sure in the hell ain't Pit Bull. I am not going to run out of here with my tail between my legs. I am here and here to stay wether you want to or not and if you want to go to the back and talk to Grant get me fired see if I care."

Childs tossed the headset down and got in the ring as Brewer stood up to respond. By this time The Imperial March was playing and The Regulator was making his way down towards the ring. As soon as the champion stepped through the ropes Childs was all over him, hammering Reg with powerful forearms across the back. Reg was caught off guard by the early attack and Childs took full advantage, whipping the champ across the ring into the buckle. He followed Reg in quickly, kicking him in the midsection until the champ had been driven down to the canvas, and then used his boot to choke the champion against the bottom turnbuckle. The ref immediately began his five count and Childs broke on four, but he wasn't about to let Reg get up under his own power or on his own time. He yanked the champ back to his feet and sent him into the opposite corner, but this time Reg rebounded out, catching Childs with a dropkick that sent the big man staggering back towards the ropes. A boot to the midsection doubled Childs over and Reg hooked him in a suplex. Instead of falling back with his opponent, though, Reg dropped Childs midsection-first across the top rope, taking the wind out of Childs' sails. Childs slowly fell from his perch down to the concrete floor below, leaving Regulator standing triumphantly in the middle of the ring. While George walked over to check on his partner, Reg looked over the top rope and spit right in the big Samoan's face, sending the man into a rage. George jumped up on the apron and had to be restrained by the official, who fought desperately to keep George out of the ring. While the ref was distracted Reg slid under the bottom rope on the other side and pulled a table out from under the ring. He slid the table back into the ring and followed closely behind himself. As Childs was getting to his feet on the other side of the ring Reg bounced off the ropes and dove at his opponent with a baseball slide dropkick. Childs moved out of the way, and Reg slid all the way out to the floor. The challenger grabbed Reg before he could react and slammed him head first into the ring post before rolling him back into the ring. Reg slowly pulled himself with the aid of the ropes, but Childs was back in the ring almost immediately, not letting Reg take advantage of any openings. He whipped Reg off the ropes and caught him with a spinebuster before going to work on Reg's back with a series of knees to the spine. An elbow to the back capped off the set, and Childs started to pull Reg up again. This time he doubled Reg over and lifted him up for a powerbomb, the first half of the Childs Play. He slammed Reg down hard in the middle of the ring and the fans, sensing that the match could be almost over, got to their feet as Childs climbed to the top rope. Looking down at Regulator with a smile of satisfaction on his face Childs dove off the top with an elbow aimed right at Reg's heart, but Reg moved out of the way and Childs caught nothing but canvas. With Childs incapacitated, Reg got up and walked over to the table he had brought into the ring earlier in the match. He set it up in the middle of the ring, and then set Childs on top of it. The challenger was hardly moving as Reg decided to take his attack to the air, climbing to the top turnbuckle. He jumped off with a big double stomp aimed right for Childs' chest, but this time it was Childs moving out of the way of a high risk attack, and Reg went crashing legs-first through the table, clearly injuring his left ankle in the process. Childs saw this and, without hesitation, applied the second half of his Childs Play finisher, a sharpshooter. Reg fought for all he was worth to reach the ropes, and after several moments of struggling he lunged out and...Childs pulled the man back towards the center of the ring and sat down once again. There was no way Reg could reach the ropes at that point, and he had no choice but to tap out. The ref called for the bell, and Benjamin Childs was awarded the universal championship!! He held the belt high in celebration as the screen fades to black.
