MMP Season's Slayings
Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Ontario is jammed to the rafters for MMP Season's Slayings!
Nearly 25, 000 fans are on hand for the last supercard of 1998. Commentators Jerry Wood
and Steve Lewin, replacing Ray Brewer who faces Pitbull tonight, are at ringside.
Wood: Welcome, everyone, to MMP Season's Slayings live from Toronto,
Ontario, Canada. The final PPV spectacular of the year for the Midwestern Mayhem
Promotion promises to be one of the biggest ever as we will see five highly anticipated
championship matches, as well as the long awaited contest between Pitbull and my usual
broadcast collegue Ray Brewer.
Lewin: That's right, Jerry. Normally Ray would be out here at ringside and I would be in the
back handling administrative duties for the event, but Ray will actually be in the ring for the first
time in more than seven years on tonight's card. But let's not have that overshadow the huge
triple threat match, winner-takes-all for the newly unified MMP World Championship as Mr.
Marvellous, Masochrist, and The Ryno will go at it for the most coveted prize in the
industry.
Wood: We also have scheduled here tonight the climax of the feud between Psychotic Sam and
Dr. No Limit. Fans will remember back to November when DNL stole Sam's "cat" Marbels,
sparking one of the most heated rivalries of the past few months.
Suddenly, Ghettoman's music comes on over the loudspeakers. The GWF
Intercontinental Champion comes down to ringside wearing his new t-shirt and stands at ringside
as participants in the first match are introduced.
Four Corners Match
VIRUS RICHARDS & GEMINI KILLER
vs. GRALEN & ANTAMARIUS vs. GABRIEL KNIGHT & BOBBY STONE vs.
WOLVERINE & MISERY
One team was at an early disadvantage, as it turned out not being a team at
all. Gralen refused to come out for the match, leaving Antamarius to fight on his own. The final
team to be introduced was the duo of Richards and Gemini, who came out separately and
showed nothing but disdain for one another in spite of the fact that they were to be teammates in
this all important match. Right from the opening bell, all eight men went after one another.
Antamarius had a chair in hand that he used for defense, but with no one there to fight alongside
him, he was fighting a lost battle from the opening. Wolverine overpowered the much smaller
Bobby Stone in a corner with punches while Gemini Killer pounded away Misery. Virus teamed
with Gabriel Knight to double team Antamarius, but once Christian had lost his chair, Virus
quickly turned on Gabriel, hitting him with a low blow before tossing him over the top rope into
the safety rail in front of the fans about ringside. The referee tried to separate the combatants,
but it proved too much for one official to handle. Gemini then moved over to Antamarius,
continuing the rivalry that existed between the two in the GWF, and "beatdown" the man who
had no one to watch his back. While the other competitors battled, Gemini set Antamarius in
the corner and nailed the Gemini Duster!! The referee, still trying to separate Wolverine,
Misery, Knight, and Stone, never saw Gemini making the cover. In the meantime, Virus
reached outside the ring and grabbed a steel chair. Gemini went over to grab the official, but
was met with a chair shot to the face from his own partner!!! Virus kicked his opponent to the
floor, grabbed the ref, went over to Antamarius, and applied The Plague!!! Antamarius quickly
tapped out and the match was over. The two other teams battled to the dressing room while the
referee helped Antamarius. Virus got in a couple of cheap shots on Gemini Killer on the floor
before walking to the dressing room. After the match, Ghettoman took a seat at the announce
position.
Wood: What a wild way to open Season's Slayings! Virus Richards and
Gemini Killer will meet later tonight in a no disqualification match to determine the next
challenger for the World Championship.
Lewin: That's right, Jerry, and from what I have been told that title match has been moved ahead
from the January PPV, entitled Final Curtain, to SNS on January 16! This match will be huge
for both competitors coming up later tonight. Richards, you will remember, had a title shot back
in August, but was defeated by Aries. For Gemini Killer, this could be one of the most
astonishing stories of a rookie performance if he were to go all the way to take the World
Championship.
Wood: Ghettoman, any comments on that opening contest? You sure had a bird's eye view of
the action.
Ghettoman: I just want to congratulate Richards and Gemini on the victory. Any time you can
outlast three other teams, you deserve a shot at the world title.
Wood: Our next match is the first of five title matches here tonight as Captain Patrick O'Conner,
who later tonight will team with Gralen to defend the tag team titles, puts the universal
championship on the line against Blitzkrieg. Blitzkrieg's career has been in a bit of a spin since
being stripped of the midwestern championship back in October. This could be a great
opportunity for the former world champion to get back on track if he can upset O'Conner. Let's
get to the action!
MMP Universal Championship Match
CAPTAIN PATRICK
O'CONNER (C) vs. BLITZKRIEG
Blitz came out first, surprising many of the fans on hand by the fact that he
had Machine Head, Bobby Stone, and Orion - the old members of Disposable Heroes - at his
side. The champion came out on his own, proudly carrying the universal belt over his shoulder
and wearing his share of the tag team championship around his waist. O'Conner took over at
the start, immediately attacking Blitz's left knee before whipping the challenger into the corner
and catching him with an avalanche. As Blitz stumbled out, he was caught in a belly to belly
suplex from O'Conner. The champion then went to the top rope for a frog splash, but Blitz saw
it coming and moved out of the way, turning the tide of the match in the challenger's favor. Blitz
targeted the champion's leg, hitting a couple of solid kicks to the thigh before applying a standard
grapevine on the knee.
After wearing his opponent down, Blitz picked up the pace, hitting O'Conner with a
backbreaker followed by a suplex to set up for the Creeping Death. Blitz thought better of it
and nailed a powerslam off the ropes before finally going for the finish. He raised O'Conner high
above his head, but the Captain shifted his weight and rolled Blitz into a small package for the
1...2...but Blitz kicked out just before the three count. Back to their feet, Blitz lunged at
O'Conner with a clothesline but was caught by the champion in a Samoan Drop. With the wind
knocked out of his opponent, O'Conner sensed that it was time to finish him off and applied the
Celtic Cross in the middle of the ring. Blitz struggled to reach the ropes with his legs, but
O'Conner's positioning made it impossible. Eventually, Blitz had no choice but to nod in
agreement with the referee and submit. O'Conner, however, was noticably limping after the
match, a note of specific interest to Aries and Mr. Universe who would be trying to break that
leg in only a few short minutes.
Wood: An impressive victory for Captain O'Conner, but I think everyone
here in Toronto had to see that his leg was definitely injured. That could be a huge advantage
for the team of Aries and Mr. Universe later on tonight.
Ghettoman: I have nothing for respect for O'Conner, even though he usually puts me to sleep
whenever he opens his mouth. You have to give credit to a guy who can hold two
championships at the same time.
Lewin: This next match should be of specific interest to you, Ghettoman. It's time for Joker's
Child and Terminator, the match you yourself volunteered to officiate. Take it away!
THE JOKER'S CHILD vs. TERMINATOR
Joker came to the ring first with his bodyguard Ponch, smoking a cigar and
wearing unusually large clown shoes. When Terminator was announced, a man dressed as
Santa Claus came down to the ring. Thinking it was his opponent, Joker flicked his cigar at
Santa, leaving himself totally open to Terminator's attack from the crowd. Terminator attacked
Joker's knees while Santa picked up Ponch and nailed him with the Michigan Death Driver. He
pulled off his beard to show that it was in fact Wolverine! Wolverine dragged Ponch to the
dressing room, leaving his brother to pound on Joker's leg. With his opponent staggered,
Terminator hit Joker with a short powerbomb followed by a running legdrop and appeared to be
in total control in the early going.
Terminator picked Joker up off the mat and went for a hotshot on the ropes, but Joker, resorting
to some underhanded tactics, jabbed a thumb into Terminator's eye to break himself free. Joker
immediately capitalized with a neckbreaker followed by a piledriver and a DDT. Going for a
cover, Joker seemed confident that the match was over, but Terminator got his left shoulder up
just before the three count. Angered by the possibly slow count, Joker left his opponent and
confronted the official.
This gave Terminator the opening he needed. Getting up behind Joker's back, Terminator
simply stood waiting for his opponent to turn around before catching him in the Judgment Day
Slam! On the way up, however, Joker's foot, covered by a massive clown shoe, caught the
referee in the head, putting the official down. Seeing that the official was down, Terminator
stopped and tried to help him up while Joker lay beaten on the mat. After a few moments, the
referee started coming around. Unfortunately for Terminator, so did Joker. Behind
Terminator's back, Joker pulled off one of his giant shoes and waited for Terminator to turn
around. When he did, Joker swung the shoe, hitting Terminator right between the eyes. Joker
dumped the shoe - and the rocks hidden in the toe - to the outside and applied the Joker's Last
Laugh. The referee, barely conscious, checked on Terminator and, hearing no reaction, stopped
the match and awarded it to Joker's Child.
Ghettoman: Someone should make Joker take a breathalyzer! He is
wrestling like a drunk fool!
Wood: Be that as it may, still a big victory for Joker's Child, who continues to make his way up
the rankings in the MMP.
Lewin: You have to question the method chosen by Joker's Child, but I suppose as long as it
leads to victory, that's all that counts in his mind. I'm sure Ponch will be happy when he comes
around after that attack from Wolverine.
Wood: It's time for another title defense as Soul Crusher, the new Midwestern Champion,
makes his first title defense against Jeremy Grieve from High Society. This was originally
scheduled to be Grieve challenging Chris Myers, but that all changed when Crusher took the title
last Saturday night. Let's go to the ring!
MMP Midwestern Championship Match
SOUL CRUSHER (C)
vs. JEREMY GRIEVE
With the new champion waiting in the ring, Grieve and his bodyguard
Dangerous Dave made their way down to ringside, with Grieve carrying a
microphone.
Grieve: MMP fans, there will be no match here tonight! receives a loud
chorus of boos Now, we all know that I could easily beat Soul Crusher and take that
Midwestern title from him, but we in High Society consider Soul Crusher a valuable employee.
He has rid the MMP of Gabriel Knight. From what I hear, Gabriel is still in his room out at his
gramma's whore house crying in his pillow. For that alone, every single MMP fan owes Crusher
here a debt of gratitude! more boos from the crowd Anyhow, I'm here to announce
that I will not be competing against Soul Crusher tonight. Crusher, consider this your Christmas
bonus from High Society for a job well done.
The referee raises Crusher's hand in a somewhat tainted victory when
suddenly the Michigan Outlaws attacked both men with crowbars! Soul Crusher takes a
Judgment Day Slam from Terminator putting him out of the picture. The two men then fight with
Grieve and Dave all the way to the dressing room.
Wood: A little prelude to SNS this week when Wolverine and Grieve will
finally go at it in singles competition after weeks of heated verbal exchanges between the two
men. I have to question, however, the choice made by Grieve to forfeit his title shot.
Lewin: Well, it doesn't make sense to me either. I can only assume that this was a pre-arranged
deal between Grieve and Crusher, as we know that there has been some kind of working
relationship between Crusher and High Society over the past couple of weeks. We can only
wonder what Crusher's end of the bargain might be, or maybe the forfeiture was High Society's
part of the deal from when Crusher turned on Gabriel Knight a few weeks ago. Either way, it's
all speculation until we hear from the two parties.
Wood: We will now decide one half of the SNS 01/16 main event as Virus Richards meets
Gemini Killer in a no disqualification match with the winner going on to challenge for the world
title on January 16. These two won the death trap match in the opening bout of the show when
Virus made Antamarius submit to the Plague. A huge match for both wrestlers, so let's get to
the action!
No Disqualification Match
VIRUS RICHARDS vs. GEMINI
KILLER
Virus was waiting in the ring as Gemini drove down the aisle in a Range
Rover filled with weapons, wearing a gold mask. He took right after Virus, clotheslining him
wiht a golf club and ramming his head into the ringpost. He then tied Richards upside down in a
tree of woe position, yelled "fore" and swung the club, hitting Virus right in the forehead! He
then nailed a springboard elbowdrop before suplexing him over the top rope onto the broadcast
table!!! Gemini rolled Virus back into the ring and nailed him with a television monitor from
about ringside before tossing his gold mask to the crowd. As Virus stumbled to his feet, Gemini
nailed his new finisher, the Gemini Buster, to the the 1...2...3 and claim the January 16 title
shot.
Wood: A major win for Gemini Killer! We now know that he will be one
half of the main event match on January 16 in the world title match. The only issue that remains
is to decide his opponent, and we will find out who that will be later on tonight in the triple threat
match.
Lewin: Virus Richards didn't look like he even cared to be out there tonight. I'm surprised that
he wouldn't be more motivated given the stakes of such a contest, never mind the fact that he
and Gemini have had some unkind things to say about each other of late, both on and off
camera.
Wood: Well, now is the time that all of us in the production crew have been waiting for. Ray
Brewer gets back in the ring for the first time in seven years against Pitbull, a man he has been
tormenting ever since Pitbull arrived in the MMP back in September. Ray surprised many of us
when he unveiled Gus the Plumber as his new bodyguard, but I have a feeling he may still have a
surprise up his sleeve for Pitbull here tonight. I just hope that this match will finally put to rest the
feud that has been going on between these two over the past four months.
No Disqualification Match
RAY BREWER vs.
PITBULL
Brewer and his new bodyguard Gus the Plumber came down to ring first, but
before they could make it to the ring, Pitbull came charging out from the back and nailed Gus in
the back of the head with a 2x4! Gus went down in a heap and Pitbull, wearing nothing but
denim shorts, grabbed the broadcaster and threw him in the ring to a loud ovation to get things
underway. Right from the opening, it was obvious that Brewer had no business being in the ring
with a young star like Pitbull. The former champion from several small independent federations
was being destroyed right from the start. Pitbull nailed a DDT followed by a flying forearm off
the top rope before dragging Brewer over and choking him against the ropes.
With his opponent badly beaten after only a few moments, Pitbull went under the ring and pulled
a roll of duct tape out of a toolbox, stopping only momentarily on the outside to shake hands
with Jerry Wood, saying he was sorry that Wood had to work with such an a**hole. Gus was
getting back to his feet in the runway as Pitbull got back in the ring where Brewer was still barely
moving. He used the duct tape to tie Brewer's hands and feet together before wrapping tape all
around the announcer's head before getting a microphone from the ring announcer.
Pitbull: You stupid bastard. Look where your mouth got you! So I suggest
you keep this tape over your mouth, because if you don't, I'm gonna be right there to whip your
out of shape, fat ass.
Pitbull then stood Brewer up against the ropes and clotheslined him over the
top before going down to the floor to toss him back in. Before Pitbull could get back in the ring,
Gus the Plumber came around with a steel chair and nailed Pitbull in the back of the head. Pitbul
stumbled a little, but when Gus went to hit him again, he was caught with a kick to the gut from
Pitbull before getting a chair shot himself. Someone could be seen running down to the ring as
Pitbull rolled Gus into the ring before going over to Brewer and nailing a Stunner! Pitbull made
the cover, but just before a three count could be reached, Joker's Child and Ponch were in the
ring and broke the count. Joker flicked a lit cigar into Pitbull's face before he and Ponch double
teamed Pitbull in the corner. Pitbull fought back, nailing Ponch with a Stunner and doing well
against Joker's Child, but soon another man came down the aisle. This time, it was midwestern
champion Soul Crusher.
Brewer was still out and tied up with duct tape, Gus was struggling on the floor, and Ponch lay
beaten in the corner, but Pitbull still had two men to battle in Soul Crusher and Joker's Child.
Surprisingly, Pitbull still managed to fight off his attackers, knocking Joker to the floor and then
brawling in the middle of the ring with Soul Crusher. Remarkably, another man was now coming
to the ring. It was Jamaal from GX. Jamaal helped Gus and Joker to their feet, bringing both
men back into the ring. Gus pulled out a pocketknife and cut Brewer free. The announcer then
stood back in a corner as Joker's Child, Soul Crusher, Ponch, Gus, and Jamaal teamed up to
beat Pitbull down. Soul Crusher went to the top rope and helped Jamaal nail a Sudan Spike on
Pitbull before dragging him to the middle of the ring. Gus brought a kitchen sink into the ring and
set it on the mat, allowing Brewer to pick Pitbull up off the mat and nail his old finisher, a
jumping piledriver, right onto the sink. With Pitbull's head split open, Brewer made the cover
and the referee counted, slowly and reluctantly, to three. After the match, Ponch waived to the
back and called out a tow truck. The six men tied Pitbull to the back of the truck and dragged
him down the aisle, honking the horn all the way to the back.
Wood: I...can't believe what just happened. Ray Brewer beat
Pitbull.
Lewin: I tell ya, Jerry, I don't envy the position this puts you in. Ray is never going to let this go.
I know we were all hoping that this match would put an end to this feud, but it looks like we'll be
hearing about this for months to come.
Wood: It looks like Ray has called in every favor he ever had in the MMP locker room, bringing
Joker's Child, Soul Crusher, and Jamaal all out to help him win this match tonight. I can't
imagine how Pitbull is going to react to this. I wouldn't want to be Masochrist, who will face
Pitbull in only three days in a buried alive match. It's now time for the tag team championship
match. Guest referee Dr. Jack van Nostrand is in the ring for this contest where the only way to
win is to break the leg of one of your opponents. The Congregation was scheduled to
participate in this match, but after their recent car accident, we aren't sure if we will ever see
either Super Cupid or Ouija Lullabye in an MMP ring again.
Ghettoman: All the best to Cupid and Ouija in their recovery. I haven't spoken to them since
they invited me onto their private jet. It's unfortunate, but I'm sure things will work
out.
Wood: We saw Patrick O'Conner injure his leg earlier against Blitzkrieg. Could this play a
factor in this all important match? Let's go to the ring!
MMP Tag Team Championship
Broken Leg
Match
CAPTAIN PATRICK O'CONNER & GRALEN (C) vs. ARIES & MR.
UNIVERSE
Aries, Mr. Universe, and Dangerous Dave were waiting in the ring as the
champions were introduced. Accompanied by Erinyes to ringside, O'Conner and Gralen
seemed confident heading into the match, each man carrying a lead pipe with their bodyguard
carrying an axhandle. Before they could make it to ringside, Bobby Stone and Orion came
running down the aisle and attacked Erinyes. Befofe the tag champions could come to his aid,
Blitzkrieg and Machine Head attacked Gralen and O'Conner with chairs. Officials came out to
break up the attack, but Aries and Universe saw their opportunity and jumped the champions in
the aisle with lead pipes as guest referee Dr. Jack Van Nostrand rang the bell to open the match.
After subduing Universe, Gralen and O'Conner double teamed Aries, nailing the former World
Champion with a double DDT and a double powerbomb, both on the concrete floor!
The teams fought down towards the ring, with Gralen pairing off with Universe and Aries battling
O'Conner. The two sides battled back and forth throughout the match. Dr. Van Nostrand tried
to convince the teams to fight under standard tag team rules, but the two duos refused and kept
going with all four men in the ring. Not one to get physically involved, the doctor simply allowed
the two teams to fight at their own pace. Before long, Erinyes came up behind Dave and nailed
him in the skull with his axhandle and then got in the ring to help Gralen against Universe. While
O'Conner kept Aries occupied, Gralen and Erinyes wrapped Universe into a spinning leglock
with the axhandle pressing hard against Universe's shin. Erinyes took a couple of steps
backwards before shoving Gralen down hard. The force applied to the leglock sent a loud
SNAP echoing through the arena. Dr. Van Nostrand came over and broke the hold, inspected
Universe, and ruled that leg was indeed broken. Gralen and O'Conner retained the tag titles.
Aries, enraged by the decision, gave O'Conner a Godly Drop before walking out, leaving Dave
and Universe in the ring. Gralen went over to help O'Conner up, but then shocked the world by
nailing his partner with the Kissin' Dynamite!!!! Gralen then grabbed a microphone:
Gralen: O'Conner you are an idiot. I have no Idea how I could team up
with such an inbread idiot like you. I want a match with you so I can relieve you of that
Universal Belt.
Gralen and Erinyes then grabbed both tag belts and walked out, leaving
O'Conner laying in the ring.
Wood: What the hell was that??? Gralen just turned on his tag team
partner! Where does this leave the tag team championship??
Lewin: It would certainly seem that the team of Gralen and O'Conner is no more, but let's not
forget that we just saw a man's leg get broken. Mr. Universe will be out of action for several
weeks after Gralen and Erinyes broke his left leg with an axhandle!
Wood: Well, it's now time for the Extreme Championship match. The barbed wire cell is being
lowered over the ring in anticipation of the match between Psychotic Sam and Dr. No Limit for
the Extreme Championship. DNL has promised to return Marbels to Sam here after the match
tonight, so let's not waste any more time. It's time for some action!
MMP Extreme Championship
Barbed Wire Cell
Match
PSYCHOTIC SAM (C) vs. DR. NO LIMIT
The challenger was introduced first, the GX member wearing a Commission
for Fair Play and Sportsmanship t-shirt as well as a set of collegiate-style headgear to protect his
ears, a regular target of his opponent's offense. Psychotic Sam was joined at ringside as usual
by other members of The Family, The Saint and Mr. Beumont, the latter of the two carrying two
championship belts with him - Sam's Extreme Championship and his own championship belt
from the "Hobo Wrestling Association", a federation that seems to be known only to this unusual
trio. Sam was talking to his hand thinking it was Marbels, as he had reportedly been doing for
the past couple of weeks leading up to the match. DNL immediately grabbed a chair and ran at
Sam, but before he could get a shot in, Sam turned around and nailed him in the face with a can
of cat food. As the referee locked the door, Sam broke open the can and rubbed cat food in
DNL's face. In the meantime, The Saint and Mr. Beumont positioned themselves one on each
side of the ring and set the barbed wire cell on fire.
Sam tossed the cat food aside and moved in on DNL, but the challenger caught Sam coming
and nailed him with a DDT, mimicking Sam's Psychotic Smash finisher. No Limit covered for
the quick victory, but Sam kicked out after only a one count. The challenger stayed on the
attack, hitting Sam with every move he could think of - a variety of suplexes, a backbreaker, a
powerbomb - but nothing could keep the extreme champion down. DNL went after Sam again,
but this time Sam pulled a cat leash out of his boot and used it to choke his opponent. DNL,
however, broke the hold with a low blow and immediately caught Sam in the Limit Driver!!
DNL went for a cover.
Sam kicked out!! DNL was surprised, but quickly went to his plan B. He stepped back and let
Sam get to his feet. One of DNL's associates then came out from the dressing room carrying
Marbels. Sam went after DNL, but when the challenger pointed out Marbels, Sam was
distracted and tried to reach for his cat. The Saint ran down the aisle, knocked the man down,
and grabbed the cat, but he quickly found out that it was not Marbels. After finding this out,
Sam turned around and was met with a shot to the head from the real Marbels, which DNL had
hidden under the ring. No Limit went for another cover, but again Sam kicked out. Now DNL
was frustrated. He confronted the referee, claiming that he had made not one, but two slow
counts. This gave Sam the opportunity to get to his feet. When DNL turned around, Sam
simply bull-rushed No Limit back into the flaming cage!!!! With DNL's back on fire, Sam
quickly nailed the Psychotic Smash and covered DNL for the three count to win the match. The
ring crew came running out quickly with fire extinguishers to put out the fire both on the cell and
on DNL. Sam grabbed his cat Marbels and ran back to the dressing room while medics came
out to check on DNL.
Wood: What a vicious match! Dr. No Limit looked to have it won on
several occasions, but I guess Sam was just too motivated to get his dead cat Marbels back to
let himself be defeated.
Lewin: I'm reminded of that classic match-up that Sam had with The Ryno back in July. This
match definitely had match-of-the-year potential and will undoubtably be in the running for next
year's vote. Truly a great win for Sam in his first ever defense of the extreme
championship.
Wood: Well folks, it's time for the main event. Mr. Marvellous walks in the world champion.
Masochrist walks in the MMP/GWF grand champion. The Ryno walks in the number-one
contender to both titles. Tonight, only one man will walk out with the newly unified MMP world
championship.
Ghettoman: I just want to see a good matchup between these three. Nothing but respect for all
of these competitors here tonight.
Wood: Let's not forget that we are here in Mr. Marvellous' hometown of Toronto, but things
have certainly been working against High Society here tonight with Grieve, Aries, and Universe
all losing their matches earlier tonight. The rivalry between these three has been burning for
several weeks tonight, so let's wait no longer and go right to our ring announcer for the main
event!
MMP World Championship
No Disqualification Triple Threat
Match
MR. MARVELLOUS vs. MASOCHRIST vs. THE RYNO
The Ryno was introduced first, with his girlfriend by his side and SAP leading
the way down the aisle. Once there, Ryno sent both of them to the back, saying he wanted to
win the match on his own. Masochrist was then introduced and appeared to be distracted by
the accident that happened to Super Cupid and Ouija Lullabye earlier in the week. Marvellous,
the third participant, was then introduced, but simply stood at the entrance way with a
microphone, announcing that he was not participating in this match tonight, claiming that he is too
smart to send himself out to fight two men, telling both Masochrist and Ryno that they were
welcome to his title, and claiming that neither man could ever call himself a champion because
they never beat the previous champion for the title. As Marvellous finished his statement,
Diamond King came out from the dressing room and nailed Marvellous in the back with a steel
chair. He twice kicked Marvellous in the leg before applying the Lethal Injection on his longtime
enemy. A group of officials had to come out and break the two men apart as the bell rang in the
ring to get the match underway.
Both Maso and Ryno seemed to be off their gameplan after Marvellous announced he would not
be participating in the match tonight. The two men simply looked at each other before tearing
into one another with a furious vengance. Maso took the quick advantage, nailing Ryno with a
cut block and sending him out to the floor. Ryno, upon hitting the floor, simply grabbed a chair
and went back in the ring after Maso, hitting Maso in the head and then wrapping his ankle in the
chair. Ryno went to the top rope and jumped off with a double stomp right on the chair, nearly
shattering Maso's ankle. While Maso was screaming in pain in the ring, Ryno went to the
outside and grabbed a table, which he brought into the ring. After setting Maso, still with the
chair on the ankle, on the table, Ryno went back to the top rope and nailed a moonsault on the
leg right through the table!!
Masochrist rolled to the outside of the ring to regroup himself, leaving Ryno standing proudly in
the ring, possibly only moments away from capturing the world championship. Ryno went over
to drag Maso back into the ring, but Maso swung around with an empty beer keg and nailed
Ryno in the forehead!! Maso shook the chair loose from his ankle and limped back to the
dressing room. Moments later, as Ryno was getting back to his feet, Maso came out pushing a
dumpster filled with broken glass!! Just as Maso got back to ringside, Ryno met his opponent in
the aisle and fought with him back to the ring, again attacking Maso's leg before finally setting
him up for a figure four leglock around the ringpost!! Before Ryno could get it fully applied,
Maso kicked back and sent Ryno into the dumpster, hitting the metal wall with the back of his
skull and opening a large gash on his head. Maso brought the match back into the ring, in total
control after the second vicious blow that Ryno had taken to the head. Maso set Ryno on the
top rope and nailed him with a chokeslam off the top into the dumpster filled with glass!! The
power needed to execute such a move, however, drained Maso, especially his weakened leg,
causing him to fall from the top rope down hard to the mat. Both men were incapacitated. Each
man got back to his feet about the same time, with Ryno coming back over the dumpster and
through the ropes. He went right after Maso, but was quickly caught with a shot to the ribs from
the empty beer keg followed by a tremendous powerbomb. Masochrist then covered Ryno and
got the three count to become the new unified world champion as the screen fades to
black.
