MMP Moonlight
Live on Pay Per View from Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI - Wednesday night, October 28!
I hate to keep mentioning this, but MMP rules are such that if you do NOT
submit a strategy by the deadline, you are guaranteed to lose your match. In the case of this
PPV, there were many matches where wrestlers did not send me strats, and in some cases
wrestlers lost matches that they had won simply because they didn't send in a strat for the match.
Just for your information. Now, on with the show...
MMP Moonlight is on the air! Commentators Jerry Wood and "All
American" Ray Brewer are seated at ringside as a standing room only crowd in the Joe Louis
Arena roars in anticipation of the next great PPV show from the world's number-one wrestling
federation! After a lengthy pyrotechnics show, the usual broadcast team takes it
away!
Wood: Welcome, everyone, to MMP Moonlight!! It's the biggest four
hours plus of wrestling you can find on TV, as tonight we will see two titles defended in major
matches, as well as the crowning of the first ever MMP Extreme Champion, when The
Regulator takes on the new MMP World Champion, "Massacre" Mark Allyn in a best-of-three
series. We will send you momentarily out to the parking lot for the first match in that series, but
first let's take a look at some of the other huge matches on the card here in Detroit,
Michigan.
Brewer: Hell, it's been a long time in coming, but we're finally gonna bring it to you here at MMP
Moonlight as The Ryno defends his Universal Championship in tonight's main event against Mr.
Marvellous. Back in the spring, these two men met in a parking lot with a ring made up four
limousines. Ryno won the first matchup, but tonight it's all on the line. Marvellous has been
waiting for a return match for nearly six months, and he will get his opportunity here
tonight!
Wood: We've also got a Japanese Death Match for the MMP Midwestern Championship, as
Christian Antamarius looks to retain his title against Mystery Man. Rumors in the locker room
have been circulating more and more by the day that the man under the cloak is someone that
we've seen before in the MMP. He has promised to reveal his identity here tonight. There will
be plenty of action here tonight, so let's go to our opening match out in the parking lot between
Mark Allyn and The Regulator.
MMP Extreme Championship Tourament - Finals (Match #1)
Chicagoland Massacre Match
"MASSACRE" MARK ALLYN vs. THE
REGULATOR
Allyn rode up on his customary motorcycle, but Regulator was nowhere to
be found. As the new World Champion shook the referee looking for an explanation, Regulator
appeared from behind a parked car. With Allyn's back still turned, Regulator climbed to the top
of the car and lept off with a flying forearm, using Loui Slugger as his forearm! Allyn fell on the
back of his head, and Regulator straddled him immediately, bouncing punches off Allyn's face
and slamming his head repeatedly off the concrete. Regulator then picked Allyn up off the
ground and went to slam his head through the windshield of a nearby car, but Allyn blocked it by
jamming his foot against the bumper, followed by a face rake before slamming Regulator's head
into the hood of the car!
Allyn and Regulator fought back and forth, passing around the arena where fans were lined up
waiting for standing room tickets. The fans cheered as the two men went past before the
combatants worked their way back to the parking lot. Regulator got the upper hand by
bodyslamming Allyn onto another car, but the match had already taken it's toll on both
competitors, causing Regulator to briefly delay before moving back in. The momentary pause
allowed Allyn to reach into his pocket and pull out a pepper spray! Allyn sprayed Regulator in
the face, temporarily blinding the last Television Champion, giving the "Massacre Man" the
chance to go on the offense. Allyn picked up a large rock and smashed the window of a nearby
Cadillac! Reaching through the window, Allyn opened the door and set Regulator's head
between the door and the body of the car. Allyn then got on his motorcycle and drove at near
100 miles an hour into the door, ramming Regulator's head between the steel!!!! Regulator was
busted open and fell to the concrete, but the collision sent Allyn flying over the top of the car.
Both men were down, both men were out.
The referee signalled into the arena, instructing them to send out a group of EMTs. The
ambulance started to pull out of the garage, but Allyn and Regulator started to move. The
ambulance pulled up near the fighting area, but the two competitors refused to give up and
fought on. Allyn rushed Regulator, but Onyx was ready for him and took him down with a
clothesline, using Loui as his arm. Regulator would not be denied. He climbed slowly up onto a
car and nailed some "Loui drops" before going for the cover. Somehow, Allyn managed to kick
out! Regulator seemed ready to finish Allyn off, but suddenly on of the cars at the other end of
the parking lot started and drove up to where the match was going on. Behind Regulator, the
door opened and out hopped Johnny Utah!!!! Just as Regulator was going for an Edge, Utah
snuck up behind him and nailed the Flat Top!!! Utah calmly got back in his car and drove away
as Allyn got back to his feet. After kicking his motorcycle over, Allyn picked up Regulator and
nailed a Death Valley Driver against the bike!!! From there it was academic, and Allyn covered
for the three to take the first match. "Massacre" Mark Allyn wins by
pinfall. After the match was over, Allyn spat on Regulator and walked into
the arena to await the next contest, the Dungeon Match.
Wood: This has to be considered an upset! I know Allyn is the current
World Champion, but only one other man has been able to beat Onyx Cooper in his lengthy stay
in the MMP! And what was Johnny Utah doing here? Could he and Regulator have a past that
we don't know about?
Brewer: I don't know about Utah, Wood, but I do know this. If he wasn't determined going into
tonight, Onyx Cooper will damn sure be determined from here on out. He has never lost a
Dungeon Match, beating such men as Scorpion and Ouija Lullabye, and I don't see how he
could lose here tonight. Cooper's back is against the wall. I think we'll see a different Regulator
than we've ever seen before.
Wood: I've just been passed a note here, and I feel I must relay the information to you. Our
next scheduled match was to pit "The Demented" xXx against Timber Wolf, but we have learned
that 7th House has been stranded in Honduras in a massive storm and will not be here to join us
tonight. As such, the Commish has awarded forfeit victories to not only Timber Wolf, but also
Captain Patrick O'Conner who was scheduled to face Daniel Mead in a Loser Waves the Flag
match. These will count as regular wins in the record books, though I'm sure the fans here were
looking forward to both matches here this evening. With that said, lets send it to our next match,
a best two-out-of-three falls match between Gabriel Knight and Archen Masters. Let's go to
the ring!
Two-out-of-Three Falls Match
GABRIEL KNIGHT vs.
ARCHEN MASTERS
With revenge on his mind after some of the things Masters had to say about
his family a few weeks ago, Knight came to the ring out and went after his opponent
immediately. Knight's target was immediately evident, targeting Masters' neck with a variety of
submission holds and hard takedowns. Knight then went for some high impact moves, yanking
on Masters' neck with a Russian leg sweep only to let him get up and snapping his head back
with a strong lariat. Knight went for the kill right away, hitting a reverse neckbreaker before
going for the cover and getting the three count to win the first fall. After the customary one
minute rest period, Masters came back with a vengance, but Knight was ready for him and took
him down with a superkick that rocked Masters' head back against the turnbuckle. Knight
pulled Masters out to the middle of the ring, where he nailed a series of elbowdrops and
legdrops before going to the top rope and hitting a frog splash! Rather than going for the win,
Knight picked his cousin up off the mat and nailed a Scorpion Death Drop!!! Knight shouted
some obsenities at his cousin before covering him to take the second and deciding fall. Gabriel Knight wins 2-0. Knight took a second to kick his
opponent out of the ring before joining his valet Sally to walk back to the dressing
room.
Wood: Well, it looks like that piece of family business has been settled.
Knight beat Masters on SNS a few weeks ago, and now it seems as though he has solidified his
position as the top dog in that family.
Brewer: Ya know, people like Gabriel Knight make me sick. They pile up win after win against
low level competition and rookies, but they just refuse to take the step up. It's almost as if
Gabriel is afraid to move on to bigger and better competition.
Wood: Hey, give the man a break. When his Hell's Fury allies were involved in the long feud
with Apocalypse Riders, Knight was there to watch their backs. When Archen Masters
questioned the integrity of Knight's family, he stepped to the plate to defend his family name.
There's something to be said about a man whose priorities aren't always going after the highest
dollar. Our next match will pit two men in the ring making their MMP debuts, as Chris Myers
takes on the mysterious Mytik. Let's go to the ring!
CHRIS MYERS vs. MYTIK
Myers, the more established of the two competitors, came to the ring with
determination in his eyes. Myers kept his attack diversified, working different parts of Mytik's
body at different points during the match. Myers started by working Mytik's legs and, once he
had the man somewhat worn down, shifted the focus of his attack to the bigger man's head,
neck, and shoulders. Myers was well known for his wide array of moves, and wasn't shy about
showing them off, taking Mytik down with an ocean cyclone suplex and following him up with a
senton splash. Myers then pulled Mytik up off the mat and nailed a running Liger bomb,
followed by a repeat powerbomb and a Northern Lights Bomb to get the victory. Chris Myers wins by pinfall. The fans cheered out of respect for
the technically-sound Myers as he walked to the back, leaving Mytik soundly beaten in the
ring.
Wood: An impressive debut for Chris Myers, who showed us all what he is
all about in a swift defeat of the much larger Mytik.
Brewer: I think it's back to the drawing board for Mytik. It's gonna take more than that if he
hopes to beat some the fine competition here in the MMP. Anyhow, congrats to Chris Myers
for a quality match here in his MMP debut.
Wood: Our next match will see Pot Head returning to action here in the MMP after a stint in
substance abuse rehabilitation center as a result of his loss at the last PPV in September against
Virus Richards. Pot Head steps into the ring tonight against a man of similar size and style in
Apocalypse Riders member Spade. Let's go up to the ring!
POT HEAD vs. SPADE
With Spade waiting in the ring, Pot Head came out looking a lot different
since the last time he had been seen in the MMP. He was clean shaven, wearing new wrestling
gear, and announced that he was clean and sober and that, in honor of his new lifestyle, he
would now be known by his legal name, Bobby Stone. Stone took the attack right to Spade,
showing his newfound confidence by taking the attack to the top rope right away, using a series
of planchas to repeatedly knock Spade down before connecting with a headscissor takedown
off the top that jammed Spade's head into the mat. Stone then started to use some power
moves on his opponent, nailing Spade with a belly to belly suplex followed by a sidewalk slam
and his new move, the Spine Driver (a suplex into a backbreaker) for the three count. Bobby Stone wins by pinfall. Stone is walking to the back as a
fan reaches over the safety rail and offers him a cigarette. Stone respectfully declines, and
continues to the showers.
Wood: I must say I'm impressed with what Bobby Stone has done with his
life. It looks like that loss to Virus Richards last month may have been a blessing for the young
man formerly known as Pot Head.
Brewer: Wood, you fool, losing is never a blessing. Bobby Stone, Pot Head, whatever he's
called now, was a loser and is still a loser. Just because he changed his name doesn't mean
anything. What is with this everyone changing their names? Daniel Mead changed his name, but
he still sucks even more than that coward Pitbull. Bobby Stone is just looking for a cheap boost
in his career. It's not gonna happen!
Wood: While the ring technicians are out here working to set up our next match, let's take a look
at our next match. It will be Psychotic Sam taking on Problem Child in an Electric Mine match.
There will be a series of concealed electric mines scattered over the ring, and the only way to
win is by pinfall or submission. Let's get to the action!
Electric Mine Match
PSYCHOTIC SAM vs. PROBLEM
CHILD
Sam came to the ring with Problem Child waiting in the ring with Blood Lust.
He was carrying his dead cat Marbels, which he left at the announce table with Wood and
Brewer. Sam ran in the ring and immediately jumpkicked Child, sending him down hard and
landing on one of the mines, shooting thousands of volts of electricity through Child's body.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Dr. No Limit came running out from the crowd with a large bag. He
snatched Marbels away from the announce table and took off towards the exit, leaving Sam with
a stunned look on his face. Problem Child got back to his feet, but Sam was even more
uncontrollable after seeing his cat being kidnapped. The lights in the arena then went out. A
bright, white spotlight shined down on the aisle, as Amazing Grace played and Mystery Man
came down to the ring with Unstable Friend. While Sam delivered a Psychotic Smash on Child
on a mine in the ring, Mystery immediately went over and applied the Hand of God on Blood
Lust!! The manager fell quickly while Sam took a bite out of Problem Child's left ear. Sam then
went under the ring and pulled out a bucket of water, which he dumped over Child, soaking him
from head to toe. Finally, Sam nailed another Psychotic Smash on another electric mine to
cover Problem Child for the three count. Psychotic Sam wins by pinfall. After the match, the official helped Problem Child escape the ring safely,
avoiding further contact with any of the mines. Mystery Man got in the ring with Unstable Friend
to confront Sam when they finally pulled off their cloaks. Mystery Man was the wrestler
formerly known as Havoc, while Unstable Friend was really Mr. Beaumont! The two embraced
Sam, who ran circles in the ring in celebration that his friends had returned. Havoc announced
that he would now be known as The Saint, and challenged Antamarius to come out immediately
for their Midwestern Title match. Antamarius obliged, and Sam stepped to the outside. Mr.
Beaumont went over to the ropes, but stepped on a mine, sending him flying over the top rope
and hard down to the floor.
MMP Midwestern Championship
Japanese Death
Match
CHRISTIAN ANTAMARIUS (C) vs. THE SAINT
Antamarius stepped out of a burst of black flames as he made his way to the
ring. The ring technicians on hand to uninstall the electric mines quickly replaced the standard
ring ropes with strands of barbed wire, cover the ring with thumbtacks, and set up the two spike
pits on the outside before the referee rang the bell to get the match underway. Sam and Mr.
Beaumont remained on the outside to keep out any outside interference. Antamarius, who came
prepared with his hands wrapped in barbed wire, took the early advantage on Saint, pounding
him in the face with barbed wire shots before tossing him into the barbed wire ring ropes. Saint
was caught in the prongs of the wire, but ducked as Antamarius came charging over,
backdropping the champion over the top rope to the floor adjacent to one of the spike
pits.
The two men then took the match to the floor. Antamarius tried to go for the quick win,
attempting to chokeslam Saint onto the pit, but Saint was able to block the move with a well-
placed kick between Antamarius' legs. Sam and Mr. Beaumont soon took action, with
Beaumont spraying one of the spike pits with lighter fluid while Sam tossed a lit book of matches
onto it. The pit was soon engulfed in flames!! Saint nailed a chokeslam on the floor before
tossing Antamarius back into the ring and choking him with the ring ropes. With Antamarius
nearing unconsciousness, Saint tried to toss the champion over the top rope and onto the burning
spike pit. Amazingly, Antamarius was able to block the move, grabbing onto the ropes for his
very life. The spikes on the wire, however, were digging deeply into Antamarius' hand, and it
seemed like it would only be a matter of time before he had to let go. Suddenly out of the
dressing room, Blitzkrieg appeared at ringside.
Blitz climbed into the ring and moved towards Saint, but Sam would have none of it. Sam
dashed into the ring and nailed Blitzkrieg with a Psychotic Smash onto the thumbtacks!! Sam
again started running in circles, laughing all the while at what he had done to the former World
Champion. This distraction provided the opening that Antamarius needed to fight his way back
into the ring. In the meantime, the referee on the outside went under the ring and pulled out a fire
extinguisher. Sam saw this as well, and ran around to grab it from the official. The ref tried to
stop Sam, but the little man just pushed his way past and got back in the ring with another
weapon. Sam went to spray Antamarius, but the champion ducked and the blast caught Saint
right in the face!!! Sam lost control and started jumping up and down screaming. Mr.
Beaumont tried to get in the ring, but he tripped over the bottom strand of barbed wire and
landed face first on the thumbtacks. Antamarius, seizing the opportunity, grabbed the dazed
Saint and chokeslammed him over the top rope onto the clean pit of spikes for the victory.
Christian Antamarius retains the Midwestern Championship. Antamarius quickly grabbed his championship and headed for the back before
anyone in the ring could come around to stop him. Sam, Saint, and Beaumont came around and
walked out together, leaving Blitzkrieg lying in the ring. Seeing his opportunity, Machine Head
came running out from the back, and another match was under way.
BLITZKRIEG vs. MACHINE HEAD
The match was on even before the ring technicians could come out to restore
the ring to it's normal condition, but neither man seemed to mind. Mac waited for Blitz to stand
up and nailed him with a quick Thesz press that sent Blitz back first onto the thumbtacks! There
was nothing fancy about Mac's offense, just straight out brawling from bell to bell. Mac was still
enraged at what happened a couple of weeks ago on SNS, and it was clearly evident right from
the beginning. Mac was in control early, but Blitz kept his cool and was eventually able to
counter Mac's offense with a double armbar that slowed the match to a screeching halt, allowing
Blitz to catch a breather while further frustrating Mac because he couldn't get any moves in of his
own.
After a few moments, Mac was able to crawl backwards toward the barbed wire ring ropes that
were still in place from the earlier matchup. He reaches his left foot against the metal to break
the hold, but in the process dragged his body over hundreds of thumbtacks. MMP officials
managed to clear the spike pits away from ringside before they could be used in this match, but
they were powerless to change the other conditions in the ring since it was evident that both
competitors were happy to use them to their advantage. Blitz kept his attack simple, using some
common weardown holds to keep Mac face down on the tacks while letting himself plan the
remainder of his gameplan.
With Mac apparently tiring, Blitz moved into a high impact offense, nailing Mac with some
suplexes and slams on the thumbtacks, all delivered with tremendous impact that was only
furthered by the sensation of hundreds of small metal pricks jabbing into his back. The former
World Champion was now in total control of the match, as it seemed that Mac had used up
most of his energy in the opening tirade against his former partner. Blitz nailed a hard
powerbomb on Mac in the middle of the ring, and then backed into a corner to wait for Mac to
get to his feet. When Mac finally did stand up, Blitz caught him with a version of the Mechanic's
Thrust!!! Mac his the mat hard, but Blitz was far from finished. He then gathered all of the
thumbtacks in the ring into one large pile, before nailing Mac with the Creeping Death onto the
pile!!! Tacks could be seen jetting out of all parts of Mac's body as Blitz covered him for the
three. Blitzkrieg wins by pinfall. Blitz taunted his former
partner, shouting about how he was the only real man in the No Remorse tag team before
walking out and leaving Mac in a pool of blood.
Wood: What an astonishing sequence of events! Dr. No Limit kidnaps
Marbels! Mystery Man unmasks to reveal himself as the man formerly known as Havoc, now
known as The Saint! Christian Antamarius retains the Midwestern Championship, and Blitzkrieg
has defeated longtime partner Machine Head in a gruelling match!
Brewer: Hell, and that's only the halfway part of the show! We've got plenty more action still to
come, including the Ryno/Marvellous Parking Lot match and the crowning of the Extreme
Championship!
Wood: Our cameras are now set up in the basement of the arena for match #2 between Mark
Allyn and The Regulator, the Dungeon Match, Onyx Cooper's specialty. Let's send it to the
basement, with the Extreme Championship possibly on the line if Allyn can pull it off!
MMP Extreme Championship Tournament - Finals (Match
#2)
Dungeon Match
"MASSACRE" MARK ALLYN vs. THE
REGULATOR
At the opening of the match, Regulator demanded that the referee check
Allyn for weapons. The official explained this to Allyn, who simply pushed him down and went
right after Regulator with the Extreme Championship in his sights. Allyn found a metal bar on the
ground and picked it up, attacking Regulator in the knees with the bar, sending the smaller man
down with an apparently serious injury. Allyn didn't let up, pounding Regulator with the bar until
the referee came over and pulled it away. Allyn was livid, shouting "NO FUCKIN DQ!!!!" at
the ref, before nailing the official with a Death Valley Driver and locking him in one of the sets of
shackles!! This gave Regulator the opening he needed, hitting Allyn with a low blow that
doubled him over.
Regulator seized the opportunity, slamming Allyn's head repeatedly off the concrete floor.
Regulator then straddled his fallen foe and started punching him repeatedly in the face, busting
Allyn's nose open and spilling the first blood in the dungeon. Allyn, sensing that the new
Championship was within his grasp, fought back, shoving Regulator to the side and finding a new
weapon - a discarded slab of concrete - and knocking Regulator out with the chunk of cement
and ripped Regulator's battle mask off his face before taking his attack to the air. Allyn set up
some empty crates into a pile simulating a turnbuckle, and set a sheet of glass on Regulator's
face. Allyn then climbed to the top of the pile, jumped off, and nailed a flying legdrop on the
glass, shattering the pane and crushing small shards of glass into Regulator's face!!!
Allyn pulled Regulator over to the unoccupied set of shackles and tried to lock him up for the
title, but Onyx grabbed the wrist shackle and jammed it into Allyn's face, giving Regulator the
opportunity to get back into the match. With Allyn momentarily stunned, Regulator grabbed a
nearby water pipe and tried to use it for leveredge in a flying body attack, but the pipe suddenly
burst! Water was flooding the basement of the Dungeon Match!! Allyn was temporarily
blinded by the spray of water, giving Regulator the opportunity to hook him in a full nelson,
leading into a full nelson face slam. Rather then breaking the hold, Regulator kept the hold on,
smothering Allyn's face in the water! Allyn was quickly losing consciousness. A group of
referee's quickly came running down to the basement to pull Regulator off before Allyn's life was
endangered, but the damage had been done. Regulator simply dragged Allyn's limp body over
to the shackles and tied him to the wall for the victory. The Regulator wins the
Dungeon Match. Regulator took off up the stairs to get his scheduled
transportation to the abandonned state penitentiary for the final contest, the Death Penalty Match
for the Extreme Championship as maintenance crews came running down to repair the damage
in the basement.
Wood: So now it looks like we will in fact see the first ever Death Penalty
Match a little later on this evening for the Extreme Championship between longtime rivals Mark
Allyn, the current MMP World Champion, and The Regulator.
Brewer: I knew Onyx Cooper would pull it off! He is undefeated in the Dungeon Match, and
Mark Allyn just found out what the Dungeon Match is all about.
Wood: So weeks and weeks of competition have finally come down to one match, set to go
down in about an hour from now. Our next contest will pit two of the more controversial
wrestlers in the MMP against each other, as "The Major" Xenith Xavier takes on the man
known only as ??????. ?????? has been promoting his Dawn Patrol, supposedly set to make
their debut here tonight...
Brewer: What is with everyone doing the mystery thing? First Havoc, then Grieve, now this guy.
It's like nobody can come up with their own gimmicks anymore. I hope Xavier cleans this joker
out once and for all! Go to the damn ring!
"THE MAJOR" XENITH XAVIER vs. ??????
Xavier had his stooges Paul and Clayton walking closely behind as he made
his way to the ring for this all-important match. The unknown man came out wearing a black
body suit that kept his identity concealed throughout the match. The Major didn't want to wait
for the bell, and attacked ?????? in the aisle with a running lariat. After throwing his opponent
back in the ring, Xavier immediately hit a leg sweep that rocked ??????'s head against the mat,
followed by a fallaway slam and a swinging neckbreaker. Xavier didn't hold up, putting a no-
holds-barred style choke submission hold on his opponent, pushing him to the brink of
unconsciousness before releasing the hold and tossing him aside. With ?????? gasping for air,
Xavier was able to easily pick him up and nail the Love and Rage for the three count. "The Major" Xenith Xavier wins by pinfall. Clayton then tossed
Xavier a chair, which he set in the middle of the ring while Paul came in to shine the Major's
shoes. With the chair in place, Xavier picked ?????? up off the mat and nailed another Love
and Rage, this time on the steel!! With business apparently settled, Xavier walked out, leaving
the beaten unknown man lying in the ring.
Wood: I must admit that I was disappointed in that match. After all the talk
I've heard about the Dawn Patrol lately, I expected much more out of that unknown
man.
Brewer: Just another failed supergroup. It's just that this one folded before it could even get
together. Too bad. Let's move on.
Wood: Our next match pits The Bootlegger against former Apocalypse Riders member Christian
Austin. Austin was kicked out of the group after trying to end the Midwestern Title reign of
Christian Antamarius this past weekend on SNS. It should be interesting to see how this new
attitude does for the mysterious individual. As for Bootlegger, he will come out tonight after
seeing is arch-rival Xenith Xavier score an impressive win over ??????, a man who had been
heavily recruiting Bootlegger for the Dawn Patrol. No doubt Bootlegger will be looking to keep
pace with the Major, so let's get to the action!
THE BOOTLEGGER vs. CHRISTIAN
AUSTIN
Austin was waiting in the ring as Bootlegger came riding down to ringside in
a pink cadillac, wearing an Armani suit and surrounded by a trio of beautiful strippers. The
alleged head of a mafia crime syndicate, Bootlegger stood up in the drivers seat of the valuable
automobile as the women stripped his outfit from his body and Bootlegger got in the ring. The
two men circled each other, before Bootlegger reached out and jabbed Austin with a thumb to
the eye. Looking to match the feat of his rival Xavier, Bootlegger went for the win immediately,
setting Austin up and nailing the Heart's Desire in the opening moments of the match!!!!
Bootlegger was stunned, almost as if he couldn't believe that things were going so easily. Rather
than going for the cover, Bootlegger pulled Austin up off the mat and took him to the corner,
where he nailed the Ultimate Desire - a crucifix bomb off the second rope!!! This time,
Bootlegger went for the pin, and had the match won after less than a minute. The Bootlegger wins by pinfall. The engine on the car had barely
had time to cool off before Bootlegger rejoined the strippers in the cadillac. The women seemed
surprised to see Bootlegger back so soon, but nonetheless restarted the car and drove back to
the dressing room.
Wood: I guess Bootlegger has kept pace with Xenith Xavier here tonight,
as both men scored exceedingly quick victories over opponents one might suspect would put up
a better fight. Bootlegger had that match won in less than sixty seconds, Ray.
Brewer: That Austin just came out unprepared for the match. I think he must have taken
Bootlegger lightly, not expecting much from a relative newcomer to the MMP. Bootlegger is
quite an established wrestler in other feds, including the GWF where he holds one half of their
version of the World Championship. Austin will have to do be more prepared if he is going to
get back to being the dominant force he was when he first arrived here in the MMP a few
months ago.
Wood: Speaking of newcomers, we have two other relative newcomers scheduled in our next
match as Wolverine takes on Dr. No Limit. These two have been exchanging some heated
words back and forth over the past few days, and this has the potential to be an outstanding
match.
WOLVERINE vs. DR. NO LIMIT
Wolverine came to the ring with a vengance, running down the aisle and
diving into the ring after No Limit, who had some rather unkind things to say about the
hometown boy over the past few days. Wolverine opened with some vicious knife edge chops
that backed DNL into the ropes before running him with a dropkick that sent him over the top
rope. DNL was sent back into the announce table, but Wolverine quickly came diving over the
top rope with a flying bodypress that slammed DNL back into the table!! Wolverine pulled No
Limit to the side and dropped him throat first onto the safety rail before tossing him back into the
ring. As No Limit struggled to get back to his feet, Wolverine came back in by way of the top
rope, nailing No Limit with a flying clothesline. Wolverine then taunted DNL to get up and,
when he did so, Wolverine nailed him with the Michigan Death Driver for the three count. Wolverine wins by pinfall. The hometown fans roared as their
local hero scored his first MMP pay-per-view victory, over a relatively big name in Dr. No
Limit.
Wood: You'd think these guys had somewhere to be later tonight at this
pace! Wolverine just destroyed Dr. No Limit in front of a sold out audience in his
hometown!
Brewer: I can't believe what just happened! I had No Limit picked in that match, but I guess he
just wasn't prepared for Wolverine's high octaine offense. I think there will be another day for
these two men.
Wood: Well, as the ring technicians come out for more alterations to the ring, let's quickly review
the rules for the Giant Rules Match. The ring is being expanded for this match only, and we can
see the double-sized, 25-foot high Hell in a Cell being lowered to the floor. Anything goes in
this match, meaning the wrestlers can even use those weapons strapped to the roof of the
structure. The first man to score a fall will take it, and we have six men all over seven feet tall set
to battle it out in this next match. As the participants start to make their way out, let's go to the
ring!
Giant Rules Match
JAMAAL vs. CARNAGE vs. BLADE vs.
CHRISTIAN AUSTIN vs. GRIZZLE BEAR vs. COLOSSUS
Three referees had been assigned to the match, even though they were there only to count the
falls since everything goes in this kind of a match. Austin came out first, followed by High
Society member Colossus and his manager War Machine, Grizzle Bear along with his brother
Timber Wolf, Apocalypse Riders members Blade and Carnage, and finally GX member and
former HWA World Champion Jamaal, who was accompanied by his manager Sudan Stan and
some Sudanese dignitaries. Soon, all six men were locked in the cell and the action was under
way. Blade and Carnage teamed up on Christian Austin, pounding their former AR ally in the
corner right from the opening bell. This left Colossus, Jamaal, and Grizzle Bear on the other side
of the ring, battling back and forth amongst themselves. After a few moments, Carnage left
Austin at Blade's mercy and came over to attack Jamaal. Carnage and Jamaal paired off while
Bear and Colossus battled on the other side. Jamaal and Bear took over on their respective
opponents, simultaneously whipping them both into the middle of the ring where the two hit head
to head, sending them both staggering back. Jamaal and Bear both took the opportunity, with
Bear pulling Carnage over to the corner where he nailed the move formerly known as Orion's
Blast, now known as the Growl! On the other side of the ring, Jamaal picked up Colossus and
nailed the Sudan Slam!! Both Jamaal and Bear went for covers and, with two referees on hand,
both men scored three counts! One referee signalled that Jamaal was the winner, while the other
contested that Grizzle Bear had won the match. Blade continued to pound Austin into a bloody
pulp in the corner as the officials conferred with the video replay on the giant screen at the back
wall of the arena, and it showed that the third count of Jamaal's pin hit the mat just before Bear's
pin, and the Sudan native was declared the winner. Jamaal wins, pinning
Colossus. Jamaal's entourage escorted the victor to the back, while Bear
and Timber Wolf argued in the ring with the officials over the decision. Blade continued to
pound on Austin in the corner until the cell was raised and MMP officials came out to help him
away.
Wood: Well, it was clear that two men were dominant in that match, with
Jamaal and Grizzle Bear just manhandling their competition. Any thoughts on that ruling,
Ray?
Brewer: I think that the MMP needs to hire some more competent officials. We aren't
supposed to have video replay in the MMP. I think that, even though the right call was made, it
sucks that those damn referees can't make a call themselves. We need Virus Richards out here
to enforce the rules.
Wood: That's a stupid idea and you know it. That guy is a living joke with this fair play and
sportsmanship garbage. GX are the biggest bunch of cheaters I've ever seen in all my years in
this business! We've got two matches to go, and both of them have huge championship
implications. First up, it's off to the abandonned state penitentiary for the final match of the
Extreme Championship tournament between Mark Allyn and The Regulator. It's the Death
Penalty Match - next!
MMP Extreme Championship Tournament - Finals (Match
#3)
Death Penalty Match
"MASSACRE" MARK ALLYN vs. THE
REGULATOR
The Regulator had already arrived on the site as Allyn's car drove up. The
MMP driver opened the door for Allyn, who didn't wait for any kind of signal from the referee
before tearing into the abandonned prison. Regulator was waiting for him, however, and sent
Allyn down face first onto the stone-cold concrete of the prison floor. The electric chair was at
the far end of the corridor, and the gas chamber at the other. With Allyn down, Regulator
slipped a metal plate into his kneepad, and delivered three kneedrops into the small of Allyn's
back that shook the "Massacre Man", sending volts of pain through his body. Regulator then
took off his battle mask and slipped it over Allyn's face, causing the World Champion some
vision problems as he stumbled around trying get adjusted to his new, hindered sense of
vision.
Regulator pulled Allyn over to one of the cells and tried to ram his head into the bars on the
door, but Allyn blocked the move and sent Cooper head first into the steel. Allyn then ripped
off the battle mask, tossed it aside, and delivered a hotshot on Regulator, dropping him face first
again into the steel bars on the door of the cell. The two men fought down towards the electric
chair, Allyn dropping Regulator on his head with a piledriver on the concrete floor, making it
easier to drag the smaller man down the hall. Out of the corner of his eye, Allyn spotted some
maintenance equipment sitting in the back corner, evidently left there, perhaps by design, by the
MMP crews who had set up the prison for the match. Allyn pulled out a hammer from a large
tool chest and pounded Regulator in his exposed face, before pulling the whole chest over and
delivering a Death Valley Driver onto the steel chest!
Allyn continued pulling Regulator down the corridor toward the electric chair, but Onyx Cooper
hadn't used up all his tricks just yet. Reaching into his boot, Regulator pulled out a large bag of
salt, which he quickly tossed into Allyn's face!!! Regulator broke free from Allyn's grasp and
went back over to the tool chest, where he pulled out Loui Slugger! With Allyn blinded from the
salt attack, Regulator set Loui Slugger on the ground and nailed Allyn with a Loui's Edge!! Allyn
was nearly unconscious as Regulator kicked open the door to the electric chair. Hoisting Allyn
onto his shoulders, Regulator nailed him with a Death Valley Driver into the chair, before quickly
stepping back and pulling the switch to become the MMP Extreme Champion! The Regulator wins the Death Penalty Match. Upon being
declared the winner and being presented with the belt, Regulator demanded that the officials on
hand also award him Allyn's World Championship belt, but the referees said there was nothing
they could do about that. Regulator seemed aggrevated that he was not the World Champion,
but he took the Extreme Championship belt, collected Loui Slugger and his battle mask and
walked out of the jail triumphant. The scene then shifts back to outside the Joe Louis Arena,
where The Ryno is waiting for the next match nearby three limousines. A fourth limo drives up,
and Mr. Marvellous gets out, getting the main event under way.
MMP Universal Championship - Parking Lot Match
THE
RYNO (C) vs. MR. MARVELLOUS
Ryno had brought a ladder to the match, and it lay outside the ring of four
limousines as the match got started. Ryno, with brass knuckles, tried to get at Marvellous right
away, but the leader of High Society was ready for him, pulling out a crowbar and nailing Ryno
square in the face with the weapon, sending Ryno staggering back into one of the cars.
Marvellous charged in, but Ryno got a foot up (a foot wearing a football cleat wrapped in
barbed wire), hitting Marvellous with a vicious shot to the face. After only a few moments, both
men were bleeding from the forehead, showing signs of what would be a truly hardcore match.
Ryno grabbed the crowbar away from Marvellous and used it to beat on Marvellous' back,
sending the smaller man down to the concrete.
Ryno picked Marvellous up off the pavement and took him on a tour around the ring, ramming
Marvellous' head into each one of the windows facing the inside of the ring before standing
Marvellous in front of the last window and nailing him in the face with a superkick that rocked
Marvellous' head back through the glass!! The second shot from the barbed wire cleat spilled
even more blood from the forehead of the challenger, and Ryno showed no signs of letting up.
Suddenly, one of the limos opened, and Aries stepped out of the car with a sledgehammer!!!
Trying to help his longtime friend, Aries swung the sledgehammer at Ryno, but luckily for the
champion he was able to duck out of the way. Aries wound up to take another swing, but a
door on one of the other cars popped open, and out jumped Wolverine, carrying a Michigan
Wolverines football helmet!!! Before Aries could swing the hammer again, Wolverine nailed
Aries in the head with the helmet, causing the hammer to fall to the ground. Aries and Wolverine
fought back and forth, rolling over the top of one of the limos, out of the ring and fighting all the
way past the view of the camera.
Both contestants were battered and bruised, but neither man was ready to quit. Marvellous
grabbed Ryno and nailed a DDT on the concrete and covered him, but could not get the three
count. Going for the kill, Marvellous nailed a second DDT before applying the Marvellous
Lock!!! Things were looking bad for Ryno, who struggled to break free from the painful hold.
Eventually, Ryno managed to kick back off one of the cars and roll the move into a pinning
combination, but Marvellous kicked out at two, releasing the hold in the process. Ryno fought
back, escaping quickly over the top of one of the cars and grabbing the ladder that he had
brought to the match earlier. Ryno climbed back into the ring and clotheslined Marvellous with
the ladder, a move that rocked the back of Marvellous' skull against the car. Ryno set the
ladder in the middle of the ring and picked Marvellous up in a torture rack type move, and
turned it into the Ryno Horn on the ladder!!!! Ryno had nailed the move that won him the
Universal Championship, and this time it helped him retain the prestigious belt against his
longtime rival as he covered Marvellous for the three. The Ryno wins by
pinfall. Ryno was handed his title and climbed up on top of one of the limos
to celebrate. Ryno held the belt up into the Detroit night sky as the screen fades to
black.
