Wisconsin Center – Milwaukee, WI

MMP Hardcore Saturday Night is on the air! More than 15, 000 fans are jammed into the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee for tonight’s event. Commentators Jerry Wood and Ray Brewer are at ringside.

Wood: Welcome, everyone, to Hardcore Saturday Night! I’m Jerry Wood alongside Ray Brewer here in Milwaukee for tonight’s live event. We are less than two weeks away from Apocalypse at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri, and before we get to the pay per view we have two big championship matches to present in hardcore fashion here tonight. For the first time ever we will have a double hell death match here in the MMP with the tag team championship at stake as Hades and Baital look to earn their first win as a team as they defend against The Destroyer and Benjamin Childs.

Brewer: I’m washing my hands of this entire evening right from the start. What is this double hell death match, anyway? Barbed wire ring ropes? Oh wait, I’m sorry, half of the ring won’t have any ropes at all! Instead we get spools of barbed wire laid out on the floor? What is this company coming to? We can’t even use the damn ring anymore for Heaven’s sake! I’m not a big fan of that big cage hanging from the ceiling either.

Wood: My colleague is, of course, referring to the gigantic cell that is hovering above the ring as we speak, the very cell that will enclose The Ryno and Aries in their return match from BattleGround 3 for the MMP extreme title. A lot of controversy surrounds this match as both participants were hoping to have Twisted Steel defending the television title in that match was well as Ryno’s extreme title being on the line, but as it happens we only have the one belt at stake, and as I said, it will take place inside the infamous Hell in a Cell. Tonight we kick things off with one of the most brutal matches in the entire wrestling industry, a last man standing match between two of the top newcomers in the MMP today. In this return match from Saturday Night Slams several weeks ago Glycerine puts his undefeated record on the line against a member of Kamp Kogler, Adam Kogler’s personal bodyguard, The Punisher. Let’s go to the ring here in Milwaukee for our first contest!

Last Man Standing Match
GLYCERINE vs. THE PUNISHER

The Punisher came to the ring first, riding his customary motorcycle down the aisle to the ring. In accordance with the match stipulations, his valet Heavenly was nowhere to be found. Punisher was alone. As he entered the ring Glycerine’s music started to play over the loudspeaker, but his opponent didn’t come through the curtain. Punisher and the referee looked at one another in confusion when suddenly Glycerine appeared on the video wall, standing out on the parking lot, challenging Punisher to meet him outside the arena. Punisher didn’t think twice, hopped on his motorcycle, and rode back out the way he had come in. Backstage cameras picked up a shot of Punisher as he rode out through the exit, and as soon as he was outside the arena Glycerine shot out from around the corner and splashed a bucket filled with gasoline right in Punisher’s face!! Punisher fell from his motorcycle, which slid to a stop several feet away, and clutched his face while screaming in agony. Glycerine took control of the match even before the referee could join the combatants on the outside and picked up a nearby trash can. He dropped the can but held onto the lid, which he slammed down repeatedly across the back of Punisher’s head. Punisher was down, face-first on the concrete of the parking lot, as Glycerine tossed the lid aside and picked up the trash can itself. The newest member of The Cult simply glared down on Punisher as the biker struggled to get back to his feet, but once Punisher was up to his knees Glycerine shoved the trash can down over his dazed adversary’s head and dragged him over to the wall of the arena. He slammed Punisher, still covered with the trash can, head first into the side of the building, dropping Punisher to the ground once more. As he went down the trash can came off, showing that a wound had already been opened on Punisher’s forehead and blood was running down his face. As he lay on the concrete Punisher reached into his pants, being careful to shield what he was doing from Glycerine’s view. When Glycerine reached down to pull Punisher to his feet the biker swung around quickly and caught the Cult member with a low blow, sending him staggering back against the side of the arena. As Punisher pulled himself to his feet it became clear what he was doing while he was on the ground…he had produced a chain from inside his pants and had it wrapped tightly around his right hand. While Glycerine tried to regroup against the building Punisher walked in and began hammering away on Glycerine’s forehead, not letting up until his opponent was in the same bloodied condition that he was. Glycerine slumped to the ground with a pool of his own blood collecting around him, and the referee began to administer his ten count. In the meantime Punisher walked into the arena, and when he returned he had a table in hand. The ref’s count was at six and Glycerine was pulling himself together, but once he got up he was caught with a hard boot to the midsection from Punisher. Punisher then pulled his doubled-over opponent towards the table and delivered a powerbomb, sending Glycerine crashing through the table and dropping him down on the hard concrete below. Again the referee started a count, but again Punisher didn’t want to wait around to see the result. He walked away again, this time coming back with a steel chair. As the official reached seven Glycerine was up, and clearly this was much sooner than Punisher had expected as he was still setting the steel chair in position as Glycerine advanced on him. Once Punisher had the chair ready he took a couple of backwards steps towards his opponent, but before he could turn around Glycerine grabbed him by the back of the head and drove him down into the chair with a bulldog headlock. Punisher’s skull slammed off the steel and Glycerine grabbed him again, this time throwing him up on the hood of a nearby car. He hit back-first against the windshield, hitting it with such force that the glass started to crack. Glycerine followed the man up and, without giving Punisher a chance to gather himself, took him off the car with a belly-to-back suplex, slamming the back of Punisher’s head off the concrete below. Glycerine used the front bumper of the car to pull himself up as the referee began a count on Punisher who, surprisingly, got up to his knees by a count of six. At eight he was back to his feet. Glycerine moved in when suddenly loud crashes that sounded like thunder could be heard in the background. The sounds continued, and sounded as if they were coming closer, which had Glycerine looking around frantically to see where the sounds were coming from. Punisher took full advantage of the distraction and sent Glycerine into the wall of the arena before setting up another table. Before he could finish, though, a frantic Glycerine grabbed him and dragged him towards the entrance of the building where he slammed Punisher face first through the glass doors! Glass went flying everywhere and Punisher collapsed in a heap inside the building, but he didn’t stay there for long. Glycerine quickly pulled him up and dragged him back outside where he delivered the Ignition, slamming Punisher down on the hood of another car! Punisher rolled off and fell to the concrete, and the referee began his count again. At the count of six Punisher started to move, but once he got up to one knee his body gave out and he collapsed again. The official continued his count and reached ten, which gave the match to Glycerine. The ref raised Glycerine’s hand, and as he did so a backstage worker came running out to the parking lot and handed Glycerine a note. A close-up by the camera showed that the note read simply "Do you know where Vanessa is? I do, I'm coming!". Glycerine crumpled the note up, tossed it to the ground, and ran back into the arena, presumably to check on his valet.

Wood: A fantastic opener here on Hardcore Saturday Night as Glycerine keeps his unbeaten streak alive with another hard fought victory over The Punisher. Punisher gave it everything he had once again, but just like the first meeting he couldn’t quite pull off the victory. And Ray, I can’t help but wonder about that note that one of our ring crew workers delivered to Glycerine after the match. What could that mean? Has this mysterious man that has been taunting Glycerine over the past few weeks taken her?

Brewer: I really can’t say, Wood, but judging by the way Glycerine reacted when he read that piece of paper he knows exactly what’s going on and he doesn’t like it one bit. Whoever this is Glycerine is obviously terrified of him and of what he might do, and you could be right Wood, maybe this mystery man has taken the next step by going after Vanessa.

Wood: We’ll try and get a cameraman backstage to find out what’s going on, and I know Steve Lewin will be looking into this, trying to get any information he can on this bizarre situation. As we wait for an update from Steve, let’s send you back to the ring for our next match. You can see the cell lowering around the ring, and that means only one thing. The MMP extreme title is about to be decided with The Ryno and Aries set to go here in Milwaukee.

MMP Extreme Championship
Hell in a Cell
THE RYNO (C) vs. ARIES

Aries’ music started to play, but it was abruptly cut off by Ryno’s entrance theme as the extreme champion made his way to the ring ahead of schedule. He grabbed the mic away from the ring announcer and stepped into the cell to make his address:

Ryno: "Like I've said before, this business is for the fans. And that's the reason I made this match, for the fans. But that huge piece of sh*t, Twisted Steel, decided to just sit in the back and jerk off. So, whether he likes it or not, we're gonna give the fans what they want. And I'm sure as hell they don't want to see me and Aries beating each other's asses. They want to see me and Aries beat the living sh*t out of Steel. Now, if Aries wants to wait in the ring till he comes out, that's fine. I'm cool with that. But I'm not waiting. I'm gonna go to the back and rip a piece off for myself."

With that Ryno tossed the mic down and climbed out of the cell. He grabbed a chair from the timekeeper’s table and stormed back to the dressing room, presumably to try and track down the television champion. After a few moments the cell started to raise back to the ceiling, which was met with a loud chorus of boos from the sold out crowd.

Wood: Well, it looks like we aren’t going to have that extreme title match after all, as Ryno has left the ring and headed back to the dressing room to try and track down Twisted Steel. You know, Ray, I’ve been at the arena since early this morning, and I haven’t seen either Twisted Steel or Adam Kogler anywhere in the back…

Brewer: That’s because they’re not here, Wood. Kogler made it clear all week long that they weren’t going to be at the show tonight, but for whatever reason Ryno’s back there looking for them. Maybe he figures Kogler’s full of more horseshit than a thoroughbred with colic, like most of us do, and thinks they are here after all. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Wood: Ray, I’ve just received word that Steve Lewin has tracked down Glycerine backstage…let’s see if we can get a word with him. Steve, are you there?

The camera cuts backstage and shows Glycerine walking away from the arena, alone. Lewin chases after him.

Lewin: Glycerine! Glycerine! Can we get a quick word with you? What was that note about? Where is Vanessa? Is she alright?

Glycerine ignores Lewin’s questions and keeps walking, heading out to the parking lot where his match with The Punisher concluded earlier in the evening. He walks over to where Punisher’s motorcycle, which is still lying horizontally after what happened at the start of the match, sits, stands it up, gets on, and starts to ride away from the building.

Wood: It doesn’t look like Glycerine is in the talking mood, and more importantly it doesn’t look like Vanessa is with him. Could it be that this mysterious person has in fact taken her? Hopefully we’ll have more information to pass along by the time we take the air next weekend with Saturday Night Slams. For now, though, it’s time for our main event. The ring crew has been hard at work these past few minutes to make the necessary changes, and we are now set for the double hell death match for the tag team championship. This match was designed by Benjamin Childs, and he and The Destroyer will look to capitalize on that advantage as they challenge the unstable duo of Hades and Baital. And let’s not forget, you have to defeat BOTH members of the opposing team to be declared the victors.

MMP Tag Team Championship
Double Hell Death Match
HADES & BAITAL (C) vs. THE DESTROYER & BENJAMIN CHILDS

With Hades and Baital already waiting in the specially modified ring, which had it’s regular ropes stripped and replaced with barbed wire on two sides while the other two sides were left empty, as the challengers made their way out accompanied by a pair of hooded Cult minions. Childs was carrying a Singapore cane as he climbed into the ring, and once he was in the ring he went right for Baital, nailing the man over the head with the cane. Destroyer, on the other hand, went right for Hades, who was caught off guard and clearly was not expecting such an early assault. The big man nailed Hades with a kneelift so powerful it nearly took the man off his feet, and while Hades was dazed Destroyer grabbed him and whipped him towards the side of the ring with no ropes, sending Hades down to the floor and down on top of the barbed wire that was laid out around ringside. Hades let out a painful scream as he hit, and while he was down on the outside Childs and Destroyer double teamed Baital. The two large Cult members hammered Baital mercilessly, with Destroyer stomping the man while Childs pulled a chain out of his boot. He stretched the chain out and held it under Baital’s chin as he set the man in a camel clutch!! Childs wrenched back on the chain, choking the very life out of Baital while Hades struggled outside the ring. Once it appeared that Baital was nearly unconscious Childs released the hold and he and Destroyer picked Baital up and delivered a double inverted chokeslam!! Destroyer went out to grab Hades as Childs covered Baital for the three count on the inside. By this time Hades was to his feet, but he never saw the gigantic Survivor’s Cup winner coming up on him from behind. Destroyer grabbed Hades and shoved him face-first into the steel post, knocking him down once again. He then shouted to Childs on the inside as he pulled Hades to his feet, setting him in position for a piledriver. Before driving Hades into the concrete floor Childs grabbed Hades by the ankles and helped drive him down with a spike piledriver, nearly knocking Hades unconscious in the process. Destroyer then grabbed Hades’ beaten body and tossed him back into the ring where he applied the Will Breaker. Hades used his last ounce of strength to surrender the match, giving the tag team championship to Destroyer and Childs. The new champions were presented with their belts as the screen fades to black.
