Civic Center – Hartford, CT

MMP Hardcore Saturday Night is on the air! More than 20, 000 fans are jammed into the Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut for tonight's huge event. Commentators Jerry Wood and Ray Brewer are at ringside.

Wood: Welcome, everyone, to MMP Hardcore Saturday Night! I'm Jerry Wood alongside Ray Brewer, counting down the days to our next big pay per view event Homicidal Tendencies on April 26, and we have a huge lineup on tap here in Hartford. The MMP world championship will be decided as The Bootlegger puts the belt at stake for the first time since becoming champion several weeks ago, and he will do so in a triple threat match. The challengers are both champions in their own right. Death is, of course, one half of the world tag team champions, while "Amazing" Andrew Peters remains the MMP midwestern champion. Both men have the biggest opportunity of their careers ahead of them tonight as they have a chance to walk out of Hartford with the most prestigious title in our business today.

Brewer: That's true, Wood, but if you check the fine print on the contract carefully you will see one very important stipulation that has been thrown into the mix by The Bootlegger. It states, in no uncertain terms, that he must be pinned in order for the title to change hands, unlike a conventional triple threat match where any man could be defeated and there could be a title change. A very clever move by Gene Barlotta getting that worked into the deal.

Wood: Indeed a very wise decision by The Bootlegger, making it all the more difficult for either Death or Peters should they hope to win the world title here tonight on Hardcore Saturday. But that's not all we've got scheduled this evening. We have a return match from last week's universal title match that saw Benjamin Childs knock off The Regulator to capture the title. This time, though, it will be a falls count anywhere match between these two former extreme champions. Rights to the name "The Family" are on the line in a barbed wire match between Psychotic Sam and The Joker's Child, and we will see a handicap match between The Congregation and Crimson, with Virus Richards as the special referee, where the man to score the fall will be guaranteed a future opportunity at the MMP extreme title. We kick things off, though, with the first of two championship matches that we have for you tonight. It's the first ever rock pit brawl as The Destroyer defends the MMP television championship against Hyoga.

MMP Television Championship
Rock Pit Brawl
THE DESTROYER (C) vs. HYOGA

Hyoga arrived at the makeshift pit that was situated near the entrance way first, and produced a microphone from under his jacket. Just as he began to speak, though, The Destroyer's music hit and the reigning MMP TV champ came out from the dressing room with an angry look on his face, eager to get the match underway. He slowly lowered himself into the pit and was ready for Hyoga's attempted early attack, blocking the challenger's right hand and countering with a hard knee to the midsection. A second kneelift sent Hyoga stumbling back against the wall of the pit, and the big man was in control in the early going. He slowly stalked in after his opponent, but as he reached out to grab Hyoga the Swiss star lunged forward and nailed Destroyer with a hard right hand to the jaw, dropping Destroyer to the floor of the pit. A close-up from the camera revealed that Hyoga had a pair of brass knuckles on his hand, explaining the ease with which he had taken the big man down. Hyoga then mounted Destroyer and began repeatedly slamming the big man's head off the ground, trying to incapacitate the champion while he couldn't use his size to his advantage. The challenger eventually let up and started to pull Destroyer back to his feet, but in the meantime the champion had managed to grab a small rock about the size of his hand, concealing it until Hyoga had stood him back up. Once up Destroyer swung around and nailed Hyoga in the side of the head with the rock, sending Hyoga falling all the way across to the other side of the pit. Hyoga collapsed against the wall and Destroyer wasted no time, quickly charging in and crushing Hyoga with an avalanche against the unforgiving side of the pit. The big man then went to work on Hyoga's upper body, repeatedly stomping his head while the challenger lay on the ground and then dragging him over to a large boulder in the center of the pit where he draped Hyoga's arm across the giant rock. Destroyer then walked over to the side of the pit and grabbed another large rock, lifting it high above his head as he walked back towards Hyoga and his exposed arm. Just as Destroyer was about to slam the rock down across Hyoga's arm Hyoga reached up and caught the man with a low shot with another rock, causing Destroyer to drop his rock behind him, preventing what no doubt would have been a serious injury to Hyoga's arm had he been able to get the blow in. With Destroyer stumbling backwards in agony Hyoga put the brass knucks on once again and went right for the man, nailing him with a series of three right hands followed up by a DDT, driving Destroyer head first into the floor of the pit. Rather than following up right away, though, Hyoga instead stood back and waited for Destroyer to get back to his feet, almost daring the big man to come at him. Once Destroyer was up Hyoga sent a weak kick into the champion's midsection, a move that was easily caught. He then spun overhead with an insigury kick, but Hyoga had wasted too much time waiting for Destroyer, and the big man had recovered enough to be able to duck out of the way. Hyoga landed face first on the floor of the pit, and Destroyer stumbled back towards the near wall. The challenger was back to his feet quickly and immediately charged Destroyer, but was caught in a mighty powerslam that drove him hard into the floor once again. Destroyer was ready to finish Hyoga off, as now it was the TV champion yelling for his opponent to get back to his feet and come get him. Hyoga was slow in responding but he didn't let up, and once he got back to his feet he charged once again. This time Destroyer caught him in a sidewalk slam, but this time Hyoga had a counter. He raked Destroyer's eyes just as the big man picked him up, enabling him to escape the champion's grasp. While the champ was blinded Hyoga delivered a kick to the midsection, and set Destroyer up for a powerbomb, something he had been promising to do for several months. He tried to lift the big man up, but again he failed as Destroyer backdropped him over the top, dropping him down on one of the large boulders that filled the pit. Moments later Destroyer pulled Hyoga up, doubled him over, and delivered a powerbomb of his own before making the cover for the three count.

Wood: Another victory for The Destroyer, who retains the TV title for yet another week. It's starting to look like Destroyer might never lose that belt, as he has been almost untouchable ever since winning the strap from Tao Te Ching nearly two months ago.

Brewer: Yes, but he's going to have a huge challenge in front of him at Homicidal Tendencies if he wants to hold onto that title belt. As we learned this past week, the TV title will be defended alongside the universal and tag team titles in the four team ladder match at the pay per view, so in essence Destroyer will have to defend the belt against seven men that night, including his own tag team partner Harbinger. We'll see how he does with that many men shooting for him all at the same time.

Wood: But as you mentioned, Ray, it will be a ladder match, meaning that anything goes and there are no disqualifications. That's right down The Destroyer's alley as we know, as he has been one of the most successful, with the possible exception of Psychotic Sam, hardcore wrestlers that the MMP has ever seen. If there's anything working in Destroyer's favor come the PPV, it could well be that. Our night of specialty matches here in Hartford continues, but for this one we take you outside the arena, to an old elementary school that has been empty for the past three years. Tonight, though, it is only partially empty, as The Cloaked Shroud and Inferno are set to do battle in the old building with, of course, no rules. One fall to a finish in the first ever schoolhouse match!

Schoolhouse Match
THE CLOAKED SHROUD vs. INFERNO

The main classroom filled with smoke as Inferno stepped through the doors, but as the mist dissipated, there was no Cloaked Shroud anywhere to be found. Inferno cautiously looked around the room, but could not find his opponent. Then, out from under the teacher's desk, the Shroud emerged and nailed Inferno over the head with a yard stick! Inferno doubled over clutching the back of his head, and Shroud capitalized immediately, lifting him up in an airplane spin and turning it into a Samoan drop. He then began stomping Inferno and choking him with his long black cloak before yanking the man back to his feet and whipping him against the blackboard. Inferno hit hard, his back landing awkwardly against the chalk ledge, and Shroud quickly followed up with an avalanche. The big man stumbled forward, right into the waiting arms of the Shroud, who delivered a DDT. He then stood back and waited for Inferno to get to his feet before applying the Cloaked Clutch. The referee quickly got down to check on Inferno, who after a few moments in the hold was not responding. He waved the match off, and declared Shroud the winner.

Wood: Another victory for The Cloaked Shroud, who keeps his winning streak alive here in the MMP with what has to be considered a minor upset over a very established wrester in Inferno, who I understand has just been confirmed as The Bootlegger's tag team partner in the dangerous game match coming up at Homicidal Tendencies.

Just then, "Controversy" by Prince blared over the loudspeaker and Controversy made his way down to the ring, painted half-white, half-black as always. He stepped through the ropes with a microphone in hand and began to read a poem:

ahem.
a poem for the one i love.
say u'll be mine
and the stars will shine
a light of hope
at the end of the rope
and hidden behind your mask.
a hero u are
2 me and those far
away who have seen u fight
4 what's right
and before that wrong
and before that right.
mmx.......
say u'll be my valentine?

Controversy then dropped the microphone and headed back to the dressing room.

Wood: Aaaah...well, I'm not quite sure what to make of that. Ray?

Brewer: No comment. What's our next match?

Wood: Match? Umm, oh yes, up next we've got the barbed wire match between Psychotic Sam and The Joker's Child, with the rights to the name "The Family" at stake. Joker and Havoc have been warring over who is really in charge of The Family over the past several weeks, and tonight that battle will be settled in the ring, in a match that has been Psychotic Sam's specialty over the years. Who will be The Family after tonight, and who will simply be cast aside?

Barbed Wire Match
PSYCHOTIC SAM vs. THE JOKER'S CHILD

Joker's Child came to the ring first accompanied by Ponch, making rude remarks to the fans has he came down the aisle. "Space Farm" by Primus then hit and Sam made his way out, carrying Marbels the Cat, with Havoc and Mike the Giant Retard walking behind him. Sam charged Joker as soon as the opening bell sounded but Joker, knowing his opponent's style, ducked out of the way and caught the lit end of Joker's customary cigar right in the forehead. Sam stumbled backwards and Joker grabbed him, whipping him across the ring into the barbed wire. With Sam screaming as his flesh was being torn by the wire, Joker threw his hands in the air in celebration, mocking Havoc who stood on the outside of the ring. In the meantime, though, Sam pulled himself free and grabbed Joker from behind, bulldogging him face first to the canvas. Sam then rolled Joker over and started biting the clown's forehead until he had drawn blood, at which point Joker managed to free himself, tossing Sam aside and quickly getting back to his feet. The two men then locked up in the middle of the ring, but Joker's size advantage enabled him to gain the upper hand, overpowering Sam and snapping him over with a suplex. The move had little effect on Sam, though, who quickly shot back to his feet and was waiting on Joker when the clown finally stood up once again. When Joker turned around he was stunned to see Sam waiting for him, and Sam whipped him into the barbed wire, and this time the painful screams were coming from Joker. With Joker subdued in the barbed wire Sam got a big running start and charged across the ring, nailing Joker with a flying clothesline that sent both men over the top rope and out to the floor. Both men's backs were bleeding as they struck the concrete, an obvious side effect from the barbed wire digging against the flesh. They got to their feet slowly, but it was Sam who made it up first. He grabbed Ray Brewer's pitcher of water and smashed it against Joker's head, sending shards of glass all over the ringside area. Sam then grabbed a steel chair away from the timekeeper and slammed that over Joker's head as well, dropping the clown face first to the floor. The former multiple time champion then jumped on Joker's back and started raking his fingernails across his back, prompting Ponch to remove the belt from his pants and come up on Sam from behind, whipping him violently across the back. Mike and Havoc quickly saw what was going on and chased Ponch away, leaving the two men lying on the floor. Both started pulling themselves up on the outside, and Joker, out of the corner of his eye, spotted Ponch's belt on the ground. He picked it up and started whipping Sam across the chest with it before wrapping it around Sam's throat and trying to choke him out. Just then the CWO started making their way to the ring, as a mule kick from Sam connected with Joker's groin, forcing the choke to be released. Sam then delivered a weak version of the Psychotic Smash out on the floor and made a cover, but Joker kicked out after only a two count. Sam stayed on his opponent, biting Joker's knee in a rather unorthodox approach, but then for no apparent reason Welfare William and Hobo Richard jumped on Sam's back, punching him with all they were worth. Sam then got up off of Joker and moved in on the two vagrants, who started backpeddling, claiming "we didn't mean it". Richard then shoved Will into Sam, who delivered a Psychotic Smash while Richard ran away. Sam gave chase, catching up to Richard and throwing him into the safety rail before delivering another Smash on Hobo. China Town Lee then got involved, nailing Sam with a very weak forearm shot across the back. Sam turned around, kicked Lee in the gut, and went to deliver another Smash, but before he could get the blow in Joker ran up the aisle and nailed Sam across the back with a chair, allowing Lee to escape. Joker delivered a couple more chair shot as Mr. Beumont, wearing his Regulator battle mask and carrying Loui Slugger, made his way down to the ring. Back at the ring China Town Lee had produced a pair of wire cutters out from under the ring and was cutting off the top rope of barbed wire, which he then brought down the aisle to Joker, who tied it around Sam's neck. Joker rolled Sam back into the ring, the wire still around his neck, and applied the Last Laugh. The ref got down and asked Sam if he wanted to give up, but Sam vehemently refused. China Town Lee got in the ring started kicking Sam while Joker kept the hold applied, prompting Mr. Beumont to get in the ring and, out of nowhere, nail Lee across the back with Loui Slugger!! Seeing what Beumont had done Joker immediately released the hold and got right in Beumont's face, nailing Beumont with a hard right hand and sending him out to the floor. When he turned around, though, Joker was met with a boot to the midsection and the Psychotic Smash from Sam, right in the middle of the ring. Sam made the cover for the three count as Havoc made his way back to the ring to congratulate the winner. Beumont left with Sam and Havoc while Ponch and the rest of the CWO returned to help Joker to the back.

Wood: The Family remains The Family here on Hardcore Saturday Night as Sam and Havoc and, yes, even Mr. Beumont, retain the rights to the name they brought to the MMP nearly two years ago with a tremendous victory over The Joker's Childs. That really was a brutal matchup, and you have to give credit to Sam for being able to fight through the repeated distractions of the CWO to be able to pull this out. One has to think this win may put Sam in line for that world title shot he has been after for so long now, and with the announcement of the WrestleFest 2000 lineup only a couple of weeks away, I know The Family will be looking to cement their claim that Sam is owed an opportunity over the next few television programs.

Before Brewer can respond, "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC began to play over the loud speaker and Wolverine made his way to the ring, carrying one of the tag belts over his shoulder. He asked for a mic and began to speak:

Wolverine: Thank you for the reception. At this time, I would like to make a public appology to my partner. What I did was way out of line. It was a mistake from the get go. You was right all this time. If I knew my role and listened, none of this would have happened. I feel so sorry for the whole matter. It won't ever happen again. So at this time, I would like for my partner to come out here and get what is rightfully his and that is HIS World Tag Title. I know your back there, so please come on out and get your belt.

With an uncertain look on his face Death made his way out from the dressing room, but before he could get very far Masked Man X ran out from the back and attacked Death from behind! Wolverine hurried out from the ring, chasing MMX away. He then helped Death back to his feet, only to smack Death across the back of the head with the tag title belt. MMX and Wolverine double-teamed Death until officials came out to pull them off. "Thunderstruck" hit again as Wolverine handed MMX the belt and raised his hand before the duo headed back to the dressing room.

Wood: Looks like another chapter in the continuing saga of Wolverine and Death is unfolding here tonight, and now with Masked Man X thrown into the mix, things are getting very interesting surrounding the tag team champions. All three of those men, and Hyoga, have all had their hands on the tag belts in one form or another over the past couple of weeks, and who knows what could happen with these men as it relates to the four way ladder match upcoming at Homicidal Tendencies when the tag titles will be on the line.

Brewer: That damn freak smashed my water pitcher!! I want a new one out here immediately!!

Wood: So while Ray gripes about the service here at the Hartford Civic Center, we send you back to the ring for our next contest, at least for the time being. It is the return match from last week's universal title bout between new champion Benjamin Childs and the former champion, The Regulator, and it's falls count anywhere!

Falls Count Anywhere Match
BENJAMIN CHILDS vs. THE REGULATOR

The Regulator came to the ring first, with The Imperial March playing in the background. He was sporting a plastic elbowpad on his one arm, a Regulator trademark during hardcore matches. He stood patiently in the ring as Childs, his fists taped, was introduced, followed his his usual entourage of George, Zane, Charles, and Thomas. Before they got very far, though, Childs stopped in the aisle and turned to his friends, asking them to go back to the dressing room and let him handle things on his own. The four men complied, and Childs continued to the ring with no backup. He stepped through the ropes and came face-to-face with the man he defeated one week earlier for the universal title, and the two locked up right away as the opening bell sounded. The engagement didn't hold for long, though, as Reg quickly drove a knee into Childs' midsection, followed by an elbow, aided by the elbowpad, to the back of the head. As Reg was taking the early upper hand in the match George Achica arrived in the entrance way, despite Childs' insistance that he stay in the dressing room, pushing a dumpster down towards the ring. Reg spotted this and quickly jumped to the outside, grabbed a chair from under the ring, and chased George back to the dressing room. Childs followed Reg up the aisle, and when Reg turned to head back to the ring he was cut off by a hard taped fist shot from Childs' right hand. After two more shot to the side of the face Childs rolled Reg back into the ring and pulled him to the corner, where he hung the former universal champion upside-down in a tree of woe position. With Reg hanging helpless and the ref powerless to intervene, Childs used his boot to choke the wind out of his opponent, pressing down with all of his 300-plus-pound frame across the windpipe. After a few moments Childs voluntarily released, jumped out to the floor, and headed over to the dumpster George had pushed out. The first thing he pulled out was a very familiar one in Benjamin Childs' matches - a plain old table, which he carried down and set up at ringside. He then reached into the dumpster and pulled out two more items - a spool of barbed wire and a mysterious bag. Childs brought both objects into the ring, but by this time the ref had freed Regulator from the corner, and Reg cut the universal champ off with a hard thrust to the throat. With Childs gasping for air Reg hooked him in a suplex, but instead of taking the man all the way over Reg instead dropped Childs midsection-first across the top rope, where the big man stayed, the wind knocked out of him, as Reg climbed to the second rope. He jumped off and drove an elbow into the back of Childs' head once again, this time knocking Childs off the rope and back down into the ring. With his opponent incapacitated for the time being, Reg got down to the outside, folded Childs' table up, and brought it into the ring with him. As Reg set the table up near the center of the ring, Childs slid out to the floor and grabbed a steel chair. With Reg's back turned to his opponent, he never saw what Childs was doing, and when he turned around he was met with a hard shot of the chair being jammed into his ribs. Reg doubled over in obvious pain, allowing Childs to set him up for a piledriver. Childs dropped down and drove Reg head first into the canvas, taking away all the momentum that Regulator had going for him. The New Orleans native then walked over and picked up his barbed wire once again, holding it very cautiously as he waited for Reg to get back to his feet. Once Reg was up Childs tossed the wire, which Reg instinctively caught, despite the painful consequences of doing so. Childs then charged in with his chair, but at this point Reg tossed the barbed wire away and executed a drop toehold, driving Childs down face first onto the steel. The big man impulsively stumbled back to his feet, but an insigury kick from Regulator quickly put him back down. Reg then went to the outside once again, this time to grab Childs' universal title belt. He waited for Childs to get back to his feet, and when he did he ran in with a version of the Loui's Edge, except instead of Loui Slugger he was using Childs' own championship belt. As Reg made contact, though, Childs caught the man in mid air, turning the attempted reverse bulldog into a sidewalk slam, apparently knocking the wind right out of Regulator. Childs quickly took advantage, pulling Regulator back to his feet and lifting him up in a powerbomb, which he delivered right through the table that both men had set up at various earlier points in the match. He then made the cover and scored the 1...2...3 to secure his second victory over Regulator in as many weeks. As Childs' hand was being raised Reg slowly rolled out to the floor, and was seen spitting up blood as he made his way back to the dressing room.

Wood: Benjamin Childs pulls of another victory over The Regulator, perhaps silencing the numerous critics who felt that his win a week ago was simply a fluke. I think tonight's performance proved that Childs is a deserving universal champion.

Brewer: Yeah, but I notice that Childs isn't so quick to come over here and act like a big shot with me like he was last week. What's the matter, Ben? Heard about the little meeting I had with Grant, did you? Not so eager to see yourself kicked to the unemployment line now that you've finally, after a year and a half, started to get somewhere, huh? Just as I thought. Hope you enjoyed that little tirade of yours, Childs, because I can assure you that one more will find you out of a job.

Wood: Coming down on wrestlers acting like big shots are we, Ray? Well, I hope the irony isn't lost on you. Up next is our special handicap match, with a special referee, and a special stipulation. The Congregation will battle Crimson 2-on-1 with Virus Richards as the official, and whoever scores the fall in this match will be guaranteed a crack at the very same extreme title belt currently around Richards' waist. Let's go back to the ring for our next contest.

Handicap Match
THE CONGREGATION vs. CRIMSON

Special Guest Referee: VIRUS RICHARDS

The referee, MMP extreme champion Virus Richards, made his way to the ring first, drawing a loud chorus of boos from the sold out crowd. The Congregation was then introduced, but their entrance was cut short by Crimson, who hopped over the safety rail in the aisle and nailed Masochrist over the back of the head with a steel chair, knocking the former world champion to the ground. Ryno and Crimson then battled down to the ring while Harbinger came running out from the dressing room and ambushed Masochrist, trying to keep the man on the outside so that Crimson could have Ryno one on one. In the ring Crimson whipped Ryno off the ropes and caught him with a drop toehold, causing Ryno to fall throat first across the middle rope. With Ryno gasping for air Crimson pulled the man up and locked hands with his opponent as if he had just won a test of strength, twisting and putting pressure on Ryno's knuckles. As soon as the hold was applied, referee Virus Richards ran over to the ropes and called for the bell!!! Both Crimson and Ryno looked stunned as Virus' decision was announced - Crimson was the winner as a result of a submission! Ryno was furious and he ran after Virus, but the referee quickly escaped under the bottom rope and took off through the crowd.

Wood: What the hell...Crimson is your winner folks, but there is no way that Ryno submitted to such a basic manuever. I don't know what Virus is up to but now, according to his own stipulation, Crimson is guaranteed a shot at the extreme championship, something Virus has been denying him for weeks now. I don't get it Ray.

Brewer: No, honestly, I don't get it either. I trust it's all part of a plan, though. Around the MMP it usually is, and I'm sure in due time we'll find out just exactly what Virus' motives where in giving Crimson that title shot.

Wood: And on top of that it would seem that Virus is going to have The Congregation on his back again, something he has long claimed he wanted no part of. This is a strange situation indeed, and we hope to have a better understanding of what's going on by the time we take the air next week for Saturday Night Slams. For now, though, it's time for our main event here in Hartford, the MMP world title on the line in a triple threat match. The Bootlegger, Death, and Andrew Peters do battle for the biggest prize in the game live here on Hardcore Saturday Night!

MMP World Championship
Triple Threat Match
THE BOOTLEGGER (C) vs. DEATH vs. "AMAZING" ANDREW PETERS

Peters came to the ring first, accompanied by Amanda and proudly wearing the midwestern championship belt around his waist. He was then followed by his co-challenger, Death, who was flanked by a group of cheerleaders. The co-holder of the tag team championship stepped through the ropes with a microphone in hand, but as he entered the ring he was ambushed by Andrew Peters, who assaulted him even before the opening bell could sound! While Peters took the early upper hand on Death, "Paint it Black" blared over the loudspeaker and the MMP world champion, The Bootlegger, made his way to the ring, accompanied by Passion as well as The Black Cross. He was dressed in his usual hardcore riot gear, but was more than willing to remain on the outside of the ring while Peters pounded on Death on the inside. A rake of the face from Peters was followed by a piledriver, which left Death down in the ring as Peters made his way to the outside and grabbed the ring bell from the timekeeper. The Bootlegger, who still had yet to get into the match, had his attention focused not on the match but rather on Peters' valet Amanda, thus leaving him wide open to a sneak attack from Peters, who came up on on the world champ from behind and slammed him across the back of the head with the bell! He then rolled Bootlegger into the ring where Death was waiting, while choosing to remain on the floor himself. Death quickly went to work on Bootlegger, stomping away repeatedly at the champ, not giving him an opening to get in a counter move. He then pulled Bootlegger up and whipped him off the ropes, catching him on the rebound with a belly to belly suplex. With Peters still watching from the floor Death climbed to the second rope and came off with a flying elbow, driving the point of the elbow right across the sternum of his opponent. Rather than going for a cover, though, Death pulled Bootlegger to his feet once again. This was a mistake, as it allowed Bootlegger to get in a quick thumb to the eyes, blinding Death momentarily and allowing Bootlegger to slip on a pair of brass knuckles. He then whipped Death off the ropes and connected with a hard right hand, dropping Death to the canvas. The crowds boos grew louder and louder at each passing moment with Bootlegger in control of the match, and that didn't change as he pulled Death up and delivered a fallaway slam. As soon as Death hit the mat this time, though, Andrew Peters reached into the ring, grabbed Death, and pulled him out to the floor where he whipped the man hard into the steel steps. Peters then re-entered the ring after taking a lengthy breather on the floor and charged Bootlegger with a clothesline, but the world champ ducked and countered by nailing Peters with a devastating spinebuster! Laughing at his opponents' misfortune Bootlegger stepped out to the floor, shoved Death back in under the bottom rope, and watched from the outside as Death took over the offense again. Death pulled the reigning midwestern champ to his feet and delivered a Samoan drop before reaching out to one of his cheerleaders, who handed him a pair of brass knuckles. He slid the knucks on and waited for Peters to get to his feet. When Peters got up Death wound up and nailed him with a hard right, knocking Peters clean out. Before Death could capitalize, though, Bootlegger slid back into the ring. He spun Death around and tossed a handful of salt into his face, blinding the man so that Bootlegger could deliver a kick to the midsection and the Heart's Desire! After slamming Death to the canvas on the other side of the ring Bootlegger made the cover for the 1...2...3. Garbage began to litter the ring in Hartford as the screen fades to black.
