Reunion Arena - Dallas, TX

Hardcore Saturday Night is on the air! Reunion Arena in Dallas is sold out with nearly 20, 000 fans in attendance for tonight's huge card. Commentators Jerry Wood and Ray Brewer are at ringside.

Wood: Welcome, everyone, to Hardcore Saturday Night live in Dallas!! I'm Jerry Wood alongside Ray Brewer where tonight, deep in the heart of Texas, we have two big championship matches on tap, matches that could very well change the face of Best of the Best, coming to PPV live in a little under two weeks time. The extreme championship will be on the line in our main event tonight when Masked Menace X, a man who has already advanced to the finals of the prestigious Hall of Fame tournament, will put the gold on the line against a man who is a former extreme champion himself, Dr. No Limit.

Brewer: We've also got the universal title on the line this evening. Arguably the two strongest factions in the MMP today, The Family and The Cult, will meet head on when Daark defends the belt against one half of the MMP tag team champions, The Joker's Child.

Wood: And of course we can't forget about Psychotic Sam's self-created MMP world title. It will be on the line tonight as Sam faces Hyoga...

Outside the arena the cameras picked up a shot of Malice entering the arena. He was wearing a "1999 Hall of Fame Champion" t-shirt and had his camera around his neck as always. As he approached the wrestlers' entrance, Super Cupid came out and cut him off. The two then engaged in a heated argument, allowing Masochrist to come up on Malice from behind and nail a spear to the back! The force of the tackle sent all three men through the glass doors of Reunion Arena. Masochrist then pulled Malice up and slammed him head first into the arena wall before grabbing a trash can and denting it across Malice's skull. As Maso suplexed Malice on the concrete floor, a referee ran over and stepped in front of the former world champion. He tried to back Maso away, but Maso refused. The ref then shouted for someone to get another camera man backstage. The opening bout of the evening was underway.

MASOCHRIST vs. MALICE

The official tried to direct Maso towards the ring, but it was no use. Maso would have none of it. The distraction by the ref, however, gave Malice an opening that he so desperately needed. Reaching into a stack of equipment, Malice pulled out a wooden chair. When Maso turned around, Malice shattered the chair over his opponent's head, sending pieces all over the backstage area. After delivering a European uppercut to the jaw, Malice grabbed Maso by the head and began to drag him down the corridor towards the ring. Maso, however, was quick to counter, shrugging Malice off and sending him face first into a soda machine. The two then proceeded through the curtain and down towards the ring, much to the delight of the sold out crowd in Dallas. Maso tossed Malice into the ring and reached under the ring, pulling out a table that he soon sent in behind his opponent. The big man stalked his opponent, proceeding slowly into the ring. As he tried to pull Malice up he was met with a hard shot to the midsection, followed by another European uppercut. A desperation dropkick from Malice finally put Masochrist down. With his opponent on the canvas Malice, badly wounded, went over to the turnbuckle and pulled off the cover pad, leaving the steel buckle exposed. Pulling Masochrist back to his feet, Malice sent the Hall of Famer head first into the corner and, while he was dazed, delivered a clothesline that sent Maso over the top rope to the floor. The action continued to the outside when Malice, showing off his arial abilities, bounced off the far ropes and caught Masochrist with a suicide dive over the top rope, sending Maso back into the safety rail. Malice stayed on him, grabbing the timekeeper's bell over Maso's head before sending him back into the ring and reaching into his boot. Malice held the object that he found high above his head for all to see - it was a stapler! Maso started to crawl towards the far ropes, but Malice caught him. Rolling his opponent over, Malice grabbed Maso's lower lip in one hand, the stapler in the other, and drove a staple through Maso's lip! Maso grabbed his mouth in pain as Malice again raised the stapler high, absorbing the cheers from the crowd. Masochrist stumbled to his corner, but Malice made a critical mistake in not following up right away. He was slow to move in on Maso, believing that he was ready to be finished, giving Maso an opening that he desperately needed. When Malice finally grabbed hold of Maso again, Maso spun around and clamped a rag over Malice's face! The smell coming from the rag was unmistakable - it was gasoline! Malice was fading quickly and Maso slowly lowered him to the canvas. With his opponent out, Masochrist grabbed the table that he had brought in earlier and set it up in the middle of the ring. Then, reaching to the outside once more, he grabbed a bottle of lighter fluid. After dousing the table in fluid, Maso reached into his pocket and pulled out a book of matches which he used to set the table ablaze! With the flaming table in the background, Maso slowly walked over to Malice and pulled him for the inverted powerbomb. Malice, however, was totally out of it. He collapsed back down to the canvas, forcing Maso to pull him up again. This time, though, Malice pulled away and delivered a vicious uppercut to Maso's groin! While Maso was doubled over, Malice grabbed the bottle of lighter fluid and sprayed it right in Maso's face. Not wasting any time, Malice rolled Maso up in a small package for the three count!!!

Wood: What a win for Malice! Of all the men Malice has beaten on his recent winning streak, this has to be the biggest triumph of them all. Masochrist is a two time MMP world champion and a member of the Hall of Fame. For Malice to knock off such an accomplished superstar can only elevate his status here and bodes quite well for him heading into Best of the Best.

Brewer: I know Malice doesn't like people talking about his wins being upsets, but I think this one definitely has to fall under that category. Everyone knows that I've had my run- ins with The Congregation in the past. Masochrist is not someone I think very highly of, but he has accomplished quite a bit. For Malice to knock him off here in Dallas is big news to be sure.

Wood: As you can see in front of us, the ring crew is about finished installing the steel cage and that can mean only one thing. It's time for our steel cage match, Aries and Perry Sanders set to meet one on one here in Dallas!

Steel Cage Match
ARIES vs. PERRY SANDERS

Aries didn't want to wait for the opening bell to get the match underway. As Sanders was making his way down to the ring, Aries came running out from the back and nailed him with a steel chair shot across the back. Sanders went down hard in the aisle and Aries yanked him back to his feet, slamming him into the cage and raking his face across the steel before tossing him into the ring. Aries followed closely and the door was locked behind him. The "Beast from Greece" didn't waste any time, laying into Sanders with hard right hands to the forehead before slamming him again into the wall of the cage. This time Sanders' forehead was busted open. He staggered back out, only to be caught around the throat by the big right hand of Aries, who raised him high in the air and drove him into the canvas with a chokeslam. With Sanders bleeding profusely from the forehead Aries decided it was time to finish him off and lifted him high in the air, nailing the Godly Drop. Aries quickly covered him for the three count and walked out of the cage, grabbing a mic as he made his exit:

Aries: Take a good look at the destruction that is in the ring. Now next week. I want DNL in the ring to face me. Its time he realizes the kind of power that I have. So DNL, get anyone you want to help you, get as many people. Cause trust me, next week you will need all the help you can get. The god has spoken.

Wood: It looks like Aries means business, destroying Perry Sanders here tonight in an attempt to get a message out to Dr. No Limit. Aries wants another shot at DNL, a man he has faced many times before, and it looks like he doesn't care who he has to go through to get it.

Brewer: Well, you know, Sanders hasn't been in the ring very much lately. I don't think I've seen him in the ring since our last Hardcore Saturday Night in Orlando. When you've got that much ring rust on you, Aries is not the kind of guy you want to face in your first match back.

The camera picks up to Family Locker Room. Inside is Tao Te Ching, sitting in the corner rocking back and forth very nervously.

MMX: You okay bro? Don't worry, you're only taking on Antimarius!

Tao Te Ching: I am worried about the barb-wire, the excruciating pain!

MMX pulls out a clear bag filled with pills.

MMX: These will ensure that your upcoming match will be pain-free, you will feel nothing but victory!

Tao Te Ching takes a few of the pills and jumps up confidently and happy. Tao Te Ching then stops, looks up to MMX worriedly.

Tao Te Ching: Uhh...... will this make me groggy and tired?

MMX: Nah bro, these pills aren't your typical pain killers. These are pure pain killers, no side effects. It will pump you up and you won't feel a thing that your punk opponent will do to you.

Tao Te Ching smiles and picks up a dart. He rubs a strange black fluid from a cloth on the end of the point of the dart and inserts the dart into his bamboo pipe.

Tao Te Ching: Thanks MMX, I owe you, but I assure you buddy, I WILL NOT LOSE!

Wood: It looks like The Family has a few tricks up their sleeve tonight for Tao's big return match against Christian Antimarius. Antimarius has made it known that he wants a shot at MMX and the extreme championship, and perhaps this is MMX's way of helping keep Antimarius out of range of getting a shot at the title. If Tao can win it tonight, it will put a serious damper on Antimarius' hopes of getting back into title contention. The Japanese death match is up next, Antimarius/Tao part II!

Japanese Death Match
CHRISTIAN ANTIMARIUS vs. TAO TE CHING

The ring ropes had been replaced with barbed wire for this match and two large boards covered in broken glass were on opposite sides of the ring down on the floor. With Antimarius already in the ring, Tao made his way down with a trash can filled with weapons in hand. He tossed the can into the ring and quickly went after Antimarius, grabbing a pitchfork from his stash and swinging it wildly at Antimarius' head. Antimarius ducked, but Tao's second shot found the mark, shattering the pitchfork over his opponent's head. Tossing Antimarius to the corner, Tao used the remains of the handle to choke his opponent down before going back to his trash can and grabbing a chain. Antimarius struggled back to his feet, only to get whipped across the face with Tao's new weapon of choice. Tao lashed Antimarius across the back repeatedly with the chain before reaching into his tights and pulling out the bamboo pipe that he had been seen loading backstage prior to the match. After Antimarius pulled himself up, Tao shot a dart out of the pipe, catching Antimarius square in the leg. Antimarius quickly yanked the dart out and tossed it away, but while he was distracted Tao nailed him with a running dropkick. The startled Antimarius was sent up and over the top barbed wire rope, landing on one of the planes of glass below. The ref immediately called for the bell, awarding the match to Tao.

Wood: A very dominant performance tonight from Tao Te Ching. It looks like perhaps those pills had the effect that MMX hoped they would.

Brewer: Well, whatever intentions Tao and MMX had, the pills certainly achieved the goal that they were looking for, and that is a win for Tao over a very tough opponent and a man who specializes in this kind of hardcore match, Christian Antimarius. This has to be a big boost for Tao to have beaten a former title holder like Antimarius in such decisive fashion.

Wood: Well, tonight is a big night for The Family, with all three of our remaining matches featuring Family members with, legitimate or otherwise, title implications involved in all three. The Family is 1-0 so far tonight, and they'll look to move that to 2-0 when Psychotic Sam defends his self-proclaimed world title against Hyoga up next.

PSYCHOTIC SAM vs. HYOGA

Sam came to the ring first, wearing the stolen MMP/GWF grand championship belt proudly around his waist. He was also carrying AJ the Bat, formerly known as Loui Slugger and was accompanied by The Saint and Mike the Giant Retard. Saint was carrying his thermos full of "Holy Water" and Mike had both Marbels and a sign that read "Chicken Chow Mein Victim #6". Sam crawled into the ring and sat in a neutral corner, rocking back and forth. Before Hyoga's music could come on, Hyoga came out from under the ring with a steel chair in hand. He slid into the ring beside Sam and, before Sam could react, Hyoga nailed him square in the face with the chair! Hyoga was working quickly to keep Saint and Mike from getting involved. He pulled a pair of brass knuckles out of his tights and pounded Sam with repeated right hands before tying him upside down in the corner in a tree of woe position. Saint hopped up on the apron to unhook Sam, but before he could get Sam loose Hyoga charged in and nailed an avalanche. The force of the impact dropped Sam from the buckle but Hyoga didn't stop there, picking Sam up and tossing him over the top rope with a gorilla press slam. Hyoga followed his opponent out to the floor, but in the meantime Mike had passed Marbels to Sam. When Hyoga grabbed Sam he was nailed right in the forehead with the corner of Marbels' wooden base. Sam carefully set Marbels down and grabbed Hyoga, slamming him repeatedly head-first into the safety rail. He then dug his teeth into Hyoga's forehead, biting him until he had drawn blood. After letting Hyoga fall to the floor Sam started walking around the ringside area asking the fans in the front row to vote for him as King of Spain on December 7, arguing that he would make a better King than Hyoga. While this was going on Saint opened his thermos and tossed the scalding "Holy Water" into Hyoga's face. Mike then grabbed AJ the Bat and started hammering on Hyoga's back. The ref stepped in and told Mike to back off and Saint grabbed Hyoga, tossing him back into the ring. Saint then reminded Sam about his match and Sam got back in the ring, bringing Mike's sign with him. He wound up to deliver a blow to Hyoga with the sign, but Hyoga got his right foot up and caught Sam with a kick to the midsection, just enough to slow Sam down and cause him to drop the sign. Hyoga stumbled back to his feet and delivered another boot to the gut before grabbing Sam and delivering a piledriver on the sign! Rather than making a cover, Hyoga reached under the ring and pulled out a large bundle of rope. He brought the rope into the ring, but was soon distracted as members of the CWO made their way down to the ring with a hockey bag. Mr. Beumont got up on the apron to pass the bag to Sam, but he was met with a sidekick to the chest from Hyoga that knocked him off the apron and into the safety rail. The distraction, however, gave Sam enough time to recover and grab his sign once again. This time Hyoga never saw him coming and Sam slammed the sign hard into the back of Hyoga's head. Pulling off the "Chicken Chow Mein Victim #6" banner, Sam revealed a metal "Stop" sign beneath. "Cup" Cooper passed the hockey bag in to Sam, who dumped out a variety of items. He nailed Hyoga over the head with a metal pot, and then dragged him over where he delivered a Psychotic Smash onto a cookie sheet! With Hyoga almost out, Sam jumped on his back and applied the Psycho's Punishment!! Hyoga didn't last long and quickly tapped out to the painful move, giving Sam the win. Once the match was over The Family rushed the ring, assaulting Hyoga. Saint reached into the hockey bag and pulled out a body bag. Reminiscent of his days as "Mystery Man", Saint opened the bag and stuffed Hyoga inside, running off the ropes and delivering a big stomp on Hyoga's chest before leading The Family to the dressing room.

Wood: So I guess Psychotic Sam is still the "champion", succesfully defending his "title" here tonight against Hyoga. Does this mean Hyoga is also "Chicken Chow Mein Victim #6"? I assume the count is still rising.

Brewer: Don't give these guys and their little game so much credibility, Wood. They're just a bunch of pouting lowlifes who don't understand that there are legitimate wrestlers in this company who are more deserving of a shot at O'Conner and the world title. Is beating a guy like Hyoga supposed to prove something? With all due respect to Hyoga, he's not exactly a world title contender at this point. If Sam really thinks he has something to prove, maybe he'd be better off taking on some top contenders. Then he just might get the Captain's attention.

"Smooth" by Santana plays over the loudspeaker, interrrupting Brewer. Ouija Lullabye and Scooter come down to the ring. Scooter grabs a mic:

Scooter: Well, it seams that me and The Canadian Champ here have a shot at uh, whats his name?

Ouija: Virus.

Scooter: Oh yeah! Uh, we have a shot at his tag-team championship at the PPV. Well, since me and The Champ here have never wrestled together before, we figured we would have a public workout here. We are gonna choose two of the toughest guys out of the audience and fight them hardcore style right here in this town. Whats the name of this place again? Crackville? Anyways, lets see...you two! Come on in the ring.

Scooter points to two old men who are walking with walkers. Security helps them into the ring and Scooter and Ouija kick the walkers out from under them. Scooter and Ouija then started walking around the ring with the walkers. Scooter spotted a girl out in the audience and went outside and started flirting with her. In the meantime, a woman came down the aisle carrying a purse. She got in the ring and nailed Ouija over the head with the purse. She then reached into the purse and pulled out a brick, dropping it on Ouija. One of the old men tried to get up, but instead fell on Lullabye. The fans counted out a loud 1...2...3. Scooter, hearing the count, jumped back in the ring, wondering what had happened.

Wood: Anything to say, Ray?

Brewer: Go ahead, Wood. You're the one who seemed to enjoy promoting Psychotic Sam's little "real world champ" game. Let's hear what you have to say about this nonsense. Your credibility as an announcer has really gone down the toilet here tonight, Wood. No sense trying to save it now.

Wood: Well Ray, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. I guess that's why one of us is the host of this program and the other is simply the color man...moving right along, it's time for the first of two championship matches here tonight in Dallas. The universal title is at stake when The Cult and The Family meet head on. It's Daark against The Joker's Child on Hardcore Saturday Night!

MMP Universal Championship Match
DAARK (C) vs. THE JOKER'S CHILD

Joker came to the ring first, accompanied by Ponch and the same woman in the black wedding dress that had been seen with him over the past few weeks. He was smoking his customary cigar and was walking with a cane. Knowing of Joker's affinity for using interference to his advantage, Daark had some back up of his own, bringing the giant Inferno down to the ring with him, as well as Kimberly Brandon. Joker didn't waste any time going after Daark, attacking him with his cane as the universal champion was entering the ring. Daark fell through the ropes and landed at the feet of the challenger, who then started jamming his cane down repeatedly into Daark's left knee. He tossed the cane aside, but only to exchange it for another weapon, this time a steel chair. Joker came back after Daark with the chair, but the champion was on the defensive, catching Joker coming in with a pair of open-handed thrusts to the throat. The challenger dropped the chair and stumbled backwards as Daark got back to his feet, bouncing off the near ropes and nailing Joker with a flying lariat. Daark waited for Joker to get up, and when he did he put him back down with a spinning heel kick. Again Daark waited on his opponent, this time catching Joker with a kick to the midsection followed by a DDT. He then grabbed Joker's legs and gave him a wishbone splitter before dropping two elbows across Joker's lower leg and ankle. Joker was slow to get up this time, allowing Daark to take the match to the air. The champ climbed up to the top rope, but Ponch jumped up and swatted Daark's leg, causing him to straddle himself on the turnbuckle. Daark flopped to the canvas as Joker started coming around, but out on the floor Inferno launched into an assault on Ponch, slamming him back and forth between the ring apron and the safety rail, then into the steel steps. This didn't deter Joker, though, and the challenger slid out to the floor. He grabbed Daark's legs and pulled them out around the ring post, slamming them repeatedly against the steel. Joker then grabbed the ring steps and jammed them into Daark's left knee, furthering the damage he did earlier with the cane. The challenger slid back into the ring while the referee checked on Daark to make sure he was able to continue. Joker quickly stepped in front of the ref, though, turning his attention away from Daark. While the Cult member pulled himself up with the aid of the ropes, Joker's woman climbed up on the apron with a can of mace. Before she could spray Daark, though, Kimberly Brandon reached up and grabbed the woman by the leg, pulling her down off the apron and causing her to hit hard on the arena floor. The black veil came up away from her face, but she covered it back up before the camera could identify who it was. The altercation drew Joker's attention away from the match. He began shouting obscenities at Kimberly, drawing the attention of Inferno. The two began arguing back and forth, distracting Joker long enough for Daark to catch him with an inverted bulldog. Before Joker could respond, Daark pulled him out to the center of the ring and locked him in the Purgatory sharpshooter. Joker reached out for the ropes, but Daark had him positioned so that they were out of range. The challenger refused to give up, but he could only hold on for so long. The ref checked on Joker repeatedly, but eventually he stopped responding. Joker was out, and the ref called for the bell. Daark had retained the universal title.

Wood: A big win for Daark, narrowly defeating one of his toughest challengers to date in The Joker's Child. This is not the kind of momentum that The Family needs heading into Masked Menace X's big title defense coming up momentarily.

Brewer: Well, Daark's next scheduled opponent is Dr. No Limit, who he is supposed to face in a casket match at Best of the Best. Of course, by the time that match comes around, it could well be a title vs. title match if DNL can capture gold here in our next match.

Wood: With that said, it is time to go to our main event here tonight in Dallas. Masked Menace X and Dr. No Limit have met twice in the past, with each man winning one. Tonight is the rubber match, and the extreme championship lies in the balance. Let's go to the ring!

MMP Extreme Championship
Barbed Wire Match
MASKED MENACE X (C) vs. DR. NO LIMIT

The challenger came out carrying a garbage can filled with weapons, approaching the ring even before the ring crew had finished putting the barbed wire in place. It was clear from the start that DNL was at a disadvantage as MMX was accompanied to ringside by members of the CWO. DNL charged right at MMX at the opening bell, but was met with a crowbar across the back for his troubles. MMX delivered repeated shots to the challenger's back before tossing the weapon away. DNL crawled quickly over towards his trash can, but MMX grabbed him before he could reach the weapons and pulled him back towards the center of the ring, slapping on a Boston crab once DNL was in position. MMX had a look of supreme confidence on his face, obviously believing that he had things well in hand. DNL, however, was far from finished this early on. Using his height to his advantage, DNL was able to slowly work his way towards the ropes, his reach covering a distance that a smaller man would not have been able to. He reached out and, showing his durability, grabbed firmly onto the barbed wire, forcing the referee to tell MMX to break the hold. DNL's hands were being torn by the wire as he waited for MMX to release, but that didn't seem to matter. In the meantime MMX raised his hands in victory, apparently believing that DNL had given up and that he had won. The official reached around and pulled MMX's hands down, quickly informing him that the match was still going on. The two engaged in a brief argument, but the debate was broken up by DNL wielding a steel chair. DNL smashed the chair over MMX's head, dropping the champion to the canvas. The challenger then repeatedly jammed the chair into MMX's knee joint, following that up with a series of elbowdrops on the leg. Then, returning the favour from earlier in the match, DNL pulled MMX out to the middle of the ring and applied a submission hold of his own, this time using a figure four leglock. The champ looked to be in trouble, but it was then that his help on the outside came into play. Hobo Richard slid into the ring, grabbed onto MMX and, with the help of Welfare William, dragged MMX to the ropes to force another break. DNL released the hold, but rather than going right after his opponent he leaned through the ropes and delivered a boot to the head of both CWO members who had interfered on MMX's behalf. MMX was getting back to his feet, but DNL caught him with a big running clothesline before going to the top rope. Waiting for just the right moment, DNL came flying off the top with a moonsault. Unfortunately for the challenger, MMX rolled out of the way and DNL's 340-pound frame crashed down hard to the canvas. The champ pulled DNL up quickly and delivered a piledriver before dragging him over near the ropes. He pulled DNL's head out under the bottom rope and then jumped out to the floor, delivering a running elbowsmash to the sternum of his opponent. MMX then rolled back in and grabbed DNL by the legs, slingshotting him up and catching DNL's throat against the barbed wire. DNL grabbed his throat in pain and lay gasping for air in the middle of the ring as MMX, believing victory was at hand, paraded around the ring in early celebration. Welfare William then picked up a steel chair and tossed it in to MMX as DNL crawled to his corner over near his trash can full of weapons. MMX slowly stalked DNL in the corner, but before he could deliver the blow with the chair, DNL swung around and caught MMX below the belt with a small sack. The champ doubled over and dropped the chair as DNL spread the contents of the sack - hundreds of thumbtacks - all over the canvas. DNL ducked an MMX clothesline and wrapped the champ in a full nelson, then sweeping his legs out from under him and driving him face first into the tacks! The crowd cheered loudly as DNL seemed to be taking over control of the contest. Dragging MMX over to the ropes, DNL raked his opponent's face along the barbed wire, tearing his black-and-green mask and digging deep into the flesh. After delivering a brainbuster suplex, DNL pulled a small pair of cutters out of his boot and cut the top rope off of both turnbuckles, wrapping the barbed wire around his head. The Dallas fans got to their feet, as they had seen this move before. With MMX down in the middle of the ring, DNL climbed to the top turnbuckle and dove off with a flying headbutt. But again, as happened before when he attempted a moonsault, DNL took too long getting to the top and MMX was able to roll out of the way. The barbed wire tore into DNL's head as he hit, making him a prime target for MMX. The champ quickly pulled DNL up and connected with the X-Plex, scoring the three count and the victory to retain the title. The bell sounded and the ref passed a badly beaten MMX the extreme title as the CWO rushed the ring. The group of hobos stomped away on DNL with MMX shouting instruction as the screen fades to black.
