MMP Chaos on the Coast

Live from the Arco Arena in Sacramento, CA on June 23 - Only on Pay Per View!

MMP Chaos on the Coast is on the air! Commentators Jerry Wood and Ray Brewer are at ringside in the sold out Arco Arena where nearly 20, 000 fans are being treated to a dazzling opening pyrotechnics display before the number-one broadcast team in wrestling takes over the show.

Wood: Welcome, everyone, to Sacramento, California and tonight's Chaos on the Coast PPV spectacular! I'm Jerry Wood alongside Ray Brewer for this colossal event that will feature a total of seventeen matches including six championship bouts and four matches involving the hottest feud of the summer with members of The Syndicate battling members of The Untouchables.

Brewer: That ongoing war will be front and center here tonight will all three parts of our triple main event featuring those two warring factions meeting head on in one on one competition. The feature bout will see Captain Patrick O'Conner, the leader of The Untouchables, putting the MMP world championship on the line in a Weapons Match against the number-one ranked challenger in the entire company, a charter member of The Syndicate and my personal friend, The Regulator. We've also got possibly the biggest match in the history of the universal championship when the man with the highest winning percentage in MMP history, The Bootlegger, puts the title on the line in a Hell in a Cell Match against a former multiple time champion and MMP Hall of Famer, The Ryno. Add to that the first-ever Man in the Box Match between former tag team partners Virus Richards and Dr. No Limit, and you can easily see how the Syndicate/Untouchables feud should leave a lasting impression on not only the fans here in attendance, but also the millions of viewers watching around the world on pay per view.

Wood: And just to make tonight's even that much bigger, we will have the first ever meeting between two MMP Hall of Famers - 1998 Wrestler of the Year award winner and former two- time world champion Aries goes head to head with a man who has held more titles in the MMP than any other wrestler in the history of the company, Psychotic Sam. Add to that names like "The Conman" Wang Chen, The Joker's Child, and The Cult, and you've got the makings for an outstanding event. We get the action underway with the always interesting newcomers battle royal. This month's event features eleven up and coming stars going at it, trying to impress fans and promoters alike with this one big opportunity. Let's go to the ring here at Chaos on the Coast!

NEWCOMERS BATTLE ROYAL

The wrestlers entered the ring one by one, and it was clear that the fans were into the event right from the start. Once the opening bell sounded, all eleven men errupted into a huge brawl in the middle of the ring. Some alliances were obvious from the opening - Ying and Yang, The Fighting Heroes, worked together while Untouchables allies George Achica and Mute had each other's backs. As a prelude to the tag team match coming up later on, Yang and Y2K locked up while Hot Crimson and Mute, two men set to go one on one at SNS on June 26, traded blows back and forth. George Achica, who looked impressive in his first MMP outing against Izz Amazing a few days earlier, didn't look phased by the challenge in his path and went headlong into the action, backing Hyoga into a corner and pounding him with open-handed thrusts. It wasn't long before the match had it's first casualty, as "Die Hard" Dave Williams was tossed over the top rope by Ying, only moments before Scooter was thrown out by Hyoga, who had used his speed advantage to duck away from Achica. On the momentum of eliminating Williams, Ying went after bigger game and jumped on Achica's back. This proved to be a mistake, and the large Samoan rookie crashed backwards into the buckle, crushing Ying against the buckle before a big clothesline sent him over the top to the floor. Looking to get back at Achica for what happened earlier in the match, Hyoga came back after George, but this time he had Dark King there to help him. While the two double-teamed the big man, Mute came over and helped George out, hitting Hyoga with a forearm to the back of the head and stomping him in the ribcage while George fought back against Dark King. On the other side of the ring, Hot Crimson ducked a clothesline from the mysterious newcomer Angel Antimarius and countered with a clothesline of his own that sent Antimarius over the top. A backdrop from Yang put Y2K out to the floor while a big forearm smash from George dumped Dark King out. The match was down to five men: Hot Crimson, Mute, Hyoga, George Achica, and Yang. Yang and Mute paired off in one corner while Hyoga and Achica battled it out in another. Hot Crimson sat back and watched the others battling it out, and when he saw his opening, he helped Yang in throwing Mute over the top to the floor. Crimson and Yang then went at it as Achica demonstrated his overwhelming strength to the Arco Arena crowd by gorilla press slamming Hyoga to the floor. A poke to the eyes from yang subdued Crimson and Yang went for a hiptoss, but Crimson hooked the top rope and reversed the move, sending Yang over the top to the floor, but when he turned around, he was met with a running lariat from Achica. Crimson wobbled, but an additional push from George put him over the top. George Achica wins the June newcomers battle royal.

Wood: George Achica follows up an impressive debut against Izz Amazing with a dominant performance here at Chaos on the Coast, winning the newcomers battle royal, eliminating four men along the way.

Brewer: I would hate to be Tristan Matthews right now. Matthews is set to come out in about a half an hour to face Achica one on one, but after that performance in the battle royal, he has to be at least a little concerned after seeing Achica's dominance over several of his fellow newcomers.

Wood: Our next battle is one of a series of matches lined up here tonight featuring some of the newer talents in the MMP. One of the men making a quick rise up the ladder is the brother of former MMP world champion Mr. Marvellous, Zach Marvellous, known professionally as Big Daddy Cash. He goes one on one with "Die Hard" Dave Williams. Let's go to the ring!

BIG DADDY CASH vs. "DIE HARD" DAVE WILLIAMS

With Williams waiting in the ring, Cash came to the ring with Mr. Marvellous and his self-made Greatest Man Alive title. Before handing the belt over to the referee, Marvellous got on the mic and announced that, out of generosity to their opponent, Williams would only have to last five minutes in the ring in order to win the belt. Williams laughed at the announcement and asked the ref to ring the bell. The ref complied, but once the bell sounded, Cash came up on Williams from behind and applied "Big Daddy's Dreams". Seconds later, Williams was out, and the ref rang the bell again, awarding the match to Cash in record time.

Wood: Big Daddy Cash makes short work of his opponent here in Sacramento, taking out Dave Williams in a matter of seconds. After this match and the loss a couple of weeks ago to Mr. Beumont, one has to wonder about Williams' future in the MMP. Will he be able to rebound from these two defeats early in his career? Only time will tell. With that match not lasting as long as we had expected, we go directly to our next match, another confrontation of newcomers, this time featuring Hot Crimson, who nearly won the battle royal a few moments ago, going one on one against Dark King. Let's go back to the ring!

HOT CRIMSON vs. DARK KING

With Dark King waiting in the ring, Hot Crimson was introduced, but when his music played, he was nowhere to be found. The referee and Dark King looked at each other in uncertainty, but before long Hot Crimson came running to the ring through the crowd, hitting Dark King with a hard uppercut to the groin. Dark King doubled over in pain, and Crimson quickly capitalized with a DDT before throwing him out to the floor. Dark King struggled to pull himself back to his feet as Hot Crimson stalked him on the floor, shoving DK from behind into the steel ring post. King struck his head on the steel and collapsed in front of the announce table while Crimson stood back, waiting for his opponent to get up. When King got back to his feet, Crimson charged in, but King ducked out of the way, catching Crimson on the rebound with a flurry of punches to the head. Crimson was dazed and staggered backwards, and King followed up with a spinning heel kick. The referee in the ring had abandonned his ten count, apparently deciding to let the two rookies settle their differences. King pulled Crimson up and nailed a belly to belly suplex, dropping Crimson awkwardly with his back hitting the corner of the steel ring step. Seeing that his opponent was injured, King rolled Crimson back into the ring, nailing an inverted DDT and an elbowdrop to the sternum before slapping on a figure four leglock. Crimson tried desperately to reverse the hold, but the injury to his back from landing on the steps made it excruciatingly painful to put that much pressure on his own back. He eventually managed to reach out and grab the bottom rope to force the break, but the damage had been done. King was back to his feet quickly, while Crimson needed some time as well as the support of the ropes to get back to a vertical base. Dark King kept the offense on, kicking the hobbled Hot Crimson in the midsection before delivering a powerbomb. Things looked to be well in hand for Dark King, who went directly to the top rope. He dove off with a flying elbow, but Hot Crimson stunned both the fans and his opponent by moving out of the way at the last second. King crashed to the canvas as Crimson again tried to pull himself up. Dark King was up as well and swung at Crimson with a right hand, but Crimson ducked, spinning Dark King around and nailing him with an inverted atomic drop followed by a double arm DDT. Crimson rolled King over and covered him for a surprising 1...2...3! After the match, Crimson went out to the timekeeper's table and grabbed a goblet that he had apparently left there before entering the ring. Getting back in the ring, he dumped the goblet's red liquid contents all over Dark King before making his exit through the crowd.

Wood: This battle of two wrestlers making their singles debut is dominated by Dark King, but in the end, the resiliency of Hot Crimson proves too much for King to overcome. A good showing in the battle royal coupled with a win in his first standard match has to make Hot Crimson happy as he heads out of his first MMP event.

Brewer: I'm sure he'll be pleased, if that's possible, with his performance here tonight, but you and all the fans know my policy on judging newcomers. I'll give Crimson this, he gave a good showing against many of the rookies, but before we declare him the next world champion, let's see where his career goes from here. He's got a bigger test in his path this weekend when he faces Mute.

Wood: Speaking of impressive newcomers, we have already seen one dominant performance from George Achica tonight, winning the newcomers battle royal. Tonight he faces Tristan Matthews, a man whose martial arts fighting style should provide an interesting contrast to Achica's power attack. Let's go to the ring.

GEORGE ACHICA vs. TRISTAN MATTHEWS

George came to the ring with MMP world champion Captain Patrick O'Conner, George's lifelong friend. Matthews, realizing the recent successes of his opponent, went for a big roundhouse kick as Achica stepped through the ropes, but George caught the foot and pulled Matthews in for a headbutt. Matthews went down hard, and George turned up the offense right away. Backing Matthews into a corner, Geroge nailed some open-handed palm thrusts before backing out and nailing Matthews with an avalanche. Matthews stumbled out into Achica's waiting arms, and the big Samoan nailed a legsweep followed by a running kneedrop before pulling Matthews up and sending him off the ropes for a powerslam. Then, with things looking good for the big man, he went up to the top rope and nailed the Coconut Express, covering him for the three count and the victory.

Wood: Another impressive victory for George Achica! The newest member of The Untouchables is certainly earning his keep in the early days of his MMP career. In the first eleven days of his tenure as a wrestler with this company, he has defeated both Izz Amazing and Tristan Matthews, as well as winning an eleven-man battle royal. The big man is on quite a roll, but he will face a huge test this Saturday when he steps into the ring against Syndicate member Inferno. But by the time that match comes along, Inferno could be in a position to be defending the television championship. We send you back to the ring for the first of six title matches here tonight, with Inferno challenging "The Conman" Wang Chen for the TV belt in a return match from The Parade of Champions. Let's go to the action!

MMP Television Championship Match
"THE CONMAN" WANG CHEN (C) vs. INFERNO

Ring crew men were seen constructing a strange apparatus around ringside as the fiery phoenix appeared above the entrance way, symbolizing the appearance of the Apocalypse Dragon, Inferno. The big man came slowly down to the ring and large bursts of fire shot upward from the setup at ringside. The Conman, unwavered by the intimidating display from his opponent, came quickly down the aisle and hurdled the ropes, staring Inferno down the whole way. Inferno touched his hand to his leg, showing that he would be using his whole body to win the match, and the the two locked up. The challenger caught Chen in an armwringer right away, but before he could move on to another hold, Chen reversed it, sending Inferno over with a hiptoss. Not giving Inferno even a second to regroup, Chen charged as his opponent got back to his feet, nailing him with a clothesline and then taking him down for a third time with a huracanrana. Looking for a high impact move with his opponent on the canvas, Chen quickly ascended to the top rope. He came off with a 360 splash, but Inferno, not as badly injured as The Conman had thought, got his knees up, catching Chen square in the midsection and sending the TV champion rolling in pain to the corner. Showing typical Syndicate brutality, Inferno did not even let Chen get back to his feet. Instead he used his giant right foot pressed across Chen's throat to try and choke the very life out of his opponent. The referee stepped in quickly to break the illegal manuever, pulling Inferno off and forcing him to back away from the corner. Chen slowly pulled himself back up, but when he did he was caught with a big superkick to the jaw that put him right back down again. Inferno nailed a legdrop, but rather than go for the cover, he started choking Chen again, this time with his hands in the middle of the ring. For the second time, the ref had to pull Inferno off, telling him that the next time he had to be told he would be disqualified. Inferno simply pushed past the ref and grabbed Chen, whipping him into the corner and nailing him with a flurry of jabs, kicks, and chops to the body before bringing him out and nailing a backbreaker. Then, after giving the signal that he was about to finish Chen off, Inferno nailed the Elder's Vengance, the heart punch he had used to win many, many matches over his career. He covered The Conman, but got only two before Chen surprisingly kicked out! Inferno shot up with anger in his eyes and got right in the official's face, demanding a faster count. The official didn't back down, screaming back at Inferno. Inferno turned around and went at Chen with a clothesline, but The Conman ducked out of the way and hit Inferno with a bodyslam followed by an elbowdrop across the knee. Inferno grabbed his knee in pain, but Chen didn't give him any time to recover. He tossed Inferno off the ropes and caught him with a tilt a whirl backbreaker before a dropkick sent him over the top rope to the floor. While Inferno pulled himself up, Chen slingshot over the top rope with a bodypress, but Inferno caught him in mid-air, rushing into the ringpost and crushing Chen's back against the steel. Without hesitation, Inferno lifted Chen in a gorilla press slam and dropped him over the top rope and back into the ring. The challenger soon followed, nailing a piledriver and draping Chen's midsection across the top rope. Inferno then turned once again to the official, who had been yelling at Inferno to keep the match in the ring. The two engaged in another shouting match while John Korso came down to ringside in his wheelchair. With Chen draped over the top and facing the strange apparatus at ringside, Korso hit a button on the arm rest of his chair. A large flame shot upward, catching Chen right in the face! Despite having his back turned, the referee heard the loud erruption and when he turned to see Chen grasping his face in tremendous pain, he called for the bell and disqualified Inferno! Wang Chen retains the TV title.

Wood: Wang Chen holds onto the belt here at Chaos on the Coast, but you have to wonder what kind of condition he will be in later on tonight when he teams with Sean Williams to go for the MMP tag titles. The paramedics are escorting him from the ring, and it looks like Chen could have some serious burns to his face and upper body.

Brewer: It's like the old saying goes, Wood. If he's a winner, I'd rather be a loser. Inferno may have lost the match, but I think he got his point across. The Syndicate means business here tonight, as I'm sure Wang Chen can tell you.

Wood: Up next we've got tag team action coming your way, featuring two of the top up-and- coming teams in the MMP today. Mack and Y2K make their debut as a team while The Fighting Heroes, Ying and Yang, will be looking to build on their controversial win over Masked Man X and Hyoga last weekend as they work towards possibly one day earning a tag team title shot. Let's go to the ring!

MACK & Y2K vs. THE FIGHTING HEROES

Mack and Y2K come out to the ring with Starla. MMP reporter Billy Joseph joins the commentators table for color commentary. Mack gets on the mic to do a little speech.

Mack: Ok guys. You won't get us in full force tonight cuz we respect you. I mean, two guys named Poon and Tang, well, they're cool in my book.

Y2K: Dude, that's not their names. It's Ying and Yang.

Mack: Oh, well I guess we'll have to kick their asses then.

Ying and Yang came out with Masked Man X, and the Legion of Heroes did not want to wait for the opening bell. All three men jumped in and attacked the outnumbered duo of Mack and Y2K, kicking and stomping them into the canvas before the referee eventually got control of the match, ushering MMX to the outside and sending Ying and Y2K to the apron. When the bell finally sounded, Yang and Mack locked up, engaging one another in a test of strength. The two fought towards a stalemate when Yang took control by releasing his grip and nailing a short dropkick to Mack's right knee. With Mack on the mat clutcing his knee, Yang went for a quick submission victory, slapping on a camel clutch in the opening moments. Mack struggled to break free and started toward the bottom rope with his feet, but just when it looked like he would be able to reach the lower strand, MMX jumped up on the apron to distract the ref, allowing Ying and Yang to make a blind switch, double teaming Mack in the process. Y2K jumped in to help his partner, but when the ref turned around, the first person he saw was Y2K, who was promptly escorted back to his corner while Ying and Yang kept up the double team. Yang eventually went back to his corner, even though no tag was ever made. Ying nailed a pair of kicks to the ribcage of Mack before a provocatively-dressed Starla jumped up on the ring apron, teasing Ying. The Japanese man, still unfamiliar with the ways of wrestling in North America, was distracted momentarily, allowing Mack to get in a dropkick to the back of the leg, taking Ying off his feet. With his opponent down, Mack scampered quickly to the corner and tagged in Y2K. The man also known as Paco attacked Ying quickly, kicking at his opponent's knees and midsection as Ying tried to pull himself up. After a roundhouse kick put Ying down, Y2K made another tag, bringing Mack back in. Mack grabbed his opponent's left arm and wrapped his legs around it, holding him in a hyper-extension position. While the referee checked to see if Ying wanted to submit, a man dressed all in black with the purple initials "PCP" on the back came down to the ring carrying a fire extinguisher. He snuck up on Yang, who was standing on the apron, from behind and wound up to nail him with the metal cannister, but MMX quickly stepped in, pulling "PCP" away. "PCP" dropped the extinguisher at ringside and the two masked men brawled all the way back to the dressing room. In the ring, Ying had broken Mack's armbar and was fighting back with a series of right hands. He ran off the ropes with a clothesline, but Mack ducked and took Ying down with a drop toehold as his outstretched arm reached out and tagged in Y2K. Ying hit his head awkwardly on the canvas and lay motionless. Y2K quickly went up to the top rope for his Total Shutdown finisher, but Yang came around the apron and swatted Y2K's leg, straddling him on the turnbuckle. The crowd booed loudly, but those jeers turned to cheers when Mack came around and nailed Yang with a forearm smash that sent him off the apron into the safety rail. Mack followed him out and the two men battled on the floor while Y2K recovered and cliimbed back into position on the top rope. Ying still lay motionless as Y2K went back up and went for the Total Shutdown, but just as Y2K hit, Ying managed to move out of the way, dropping Y2K on the canvas. Ying got up quickly, shaking his head to show that the injury was all a ruse. He grabbed Y2K and delivered a powerbomb, covering him for the three count just as Mack slid back into the ring to try and break it up. Ying rolled to the outside to help Yang regain his senses and the two Japanese newcomers celebrated on his way back to the dressing room.

Wood: The Fighting Heroes continue their winning ways here in the MMP, earning their second victory in as many outings as they begin their ascent towards the top of the rankings in the MMP tag team division. Whoever comes out of tonight's triple threat match with the tag titles might want to keep an eye out for this up and coming duo.

Brewer: Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, Wood. Sure, Ying and Yang have won a couple of matches, but they've got a long way to go before they can be considered top contenders to those straps. With teams like The Cult, No Remorse, Lone Gunz, and many duos representing The Syndicate, there are plenty of more experienced teams who I'm sure would love the chance to put these rookies in their place.

Wood: Coming up next we have the first of four matches pitting The Untouchables against The Syndicate. It's a Submission Match pitting Steve Simon, who came within an eyelash of winning the midwestern championship last Saturday night, against the mysterious Mute, who gave a good showing earlier tonight in the newcomers battle royal. Let's go back to the ring.

Submission Match
"STUNNING" STEVE SIMON vs. MUTE

Steve Simon came to the ring, as always, with Kuddlin' Kristin at his side. When he hit the ring, Mute's music came on and the member of The Untouchables appeared in the runway. Suddenly, the lights in the arena went out. When they came back up, Mute was positioned on the top rope ready to strike, but Simon was nowhere to be found. As if expecting such an attack, Simon had scampered under the ring while the lights were down. He quickly appeared behind Mute and nailed him in the left arm with a steel pipe. Mute fell from the top cornerpad, landing on his arm in the middle of the ring as Simon stepped back between the ropes with pipe in hand. While Mute tried to pull himself back up Simon, wearing steel-toed wrestling boots, kicked away at Mute's injured arm and shoulder before slapping on an armbar, apparently trying to soften Mute up for the Hollywood Stretch right from the beginning. An open-hand thrust to the throat from Mute broke the hold as Amy, wearing brass knuckles on her right hand, made her way down to the ring. Mute then nailed a kick to the groin followed by a clothesline and a legdrop as he took over the offense. Waiting for Simon to get back to his feet, Mute went up to the second rope, where he sat patiently as "The Stunning One" pulled himself up. When Simon got up, Mute came off with a flying bulldog headlock that slammed Simon face first into the canvas. Mute then went down to the floor, searching for something under the ring. He finally found what he was looking for - a large mirror. As Mute got back in the ring, Kristin opened her purse and pulled out a timekeeper's bell, which she set down on the apron. Amy kept a close eye on Kristin as she shuffled through her bag one more time before setting the bag aside. She grabbed the bell and jumped up on the apron, but Amy quickly came over and pulled her down, preventing her from attacking Mute. When Kristin landed on the floor, she shot up her right hand and sprayed Amy right in the face with a can of mace! Amy swung blindly as she struggled to regain her vision, but before she could get her eyes cleared, Kristin nailed her over the head with the ring bell! Amy went down like a ton of bricks, with Kristin standing over her, screaming in the face of the unconscious woman. In the ring, Mute nailed Simon over the head with the mirror, but when he turned around to get another foreign object, he saw Amy laid out on the arena floor. He shouted at Kristin, who turned to see Mute and took off to the other side of the ring. Mute hesitated only for a moment out of concern for Amy, but while he was distracted, Kristin ran around the ring and passed the bell in to Simon. When Mute turned back around, Simon nailed him over the head with the bell, knocking him out. With Mute down, Simon then went down to the floor and grabbed the steel ring steps, which he tossed into the ring before climbing back in and applying the Hollywood Stretch! Before wrestling Mute to the mat, Simon turned the Stretch into a faceslam, driving Mute face first into the steel ring steps as he cinched in the hold. Mute was barely moving when the referee asked him if he wanted to give it up, and he eventually had no choice but to nod his head in agreement, giving the match to Simon. After the final bell sounded, Simon demanded a mic:

SSS: Another match, another victory for the Stunning One, and incidentally, another Untouchable humiliated. O'Conner, really, does this amuse you? We of the Syndicate whip your sorry little crew day in and day out, and all you do is send them back into the fire. Eventually, someone's going to get seriously hurt, o ye man of morals. Joker, on Saturday, you had the absolute lack of class to kidnap poor, defenseless Kristin. NOBODY touches Kristin, especially not Ponch... The Stunning One won't forget about this. Hopefully, you won't either, because my vengeance will be swift... and terrible.

Wood: Another win for Steve Simon, who remains undefeated in the MMP. It seems that he is not about to let the incident between Ponch and Kristin that happened last Saturday night go by unavenged. Could a rematch between the two be in order? I guess only time will tell.

Brewer: In my opinion, Steve Simon was screwed out of the midwestern title this past Saturday night against Joker's Child. I sure hope that a rematch is in the works, because I think we might finally see that belt come away from that group of freaks and lowlifes.

Wood: It would be a great matchup, there's no doubt about that, but I don't know if Joker would be as big of a pushover as you seem to think. He has held the midwestern title for three months, longer than anyone else has ever held that title. The midwestern title is coming up later, but before we get there we have a big Four Corners Chair Match between Cole Payne and Izz Amazing. These two men were scheduled to meet a few weeks ago, and Amazing won the match that ultimately took place, but ever since there has been much controversy over whether the masked man who wrestled that night was actually Cole Payne. Some heated words have been exchanged between the two ever since that night, and tonight we see the culmination of the feud.

Four Corners Chair Match
"THE PUNISHER" COLE PAYNE vs. IZZ AMAZING

On tall poles extending from each of the four corners, eight steel chairs hung down. Four were standard black chairs, while the other four were purple chairs with skulls painted on the seats. With Izz Amazing waiting in the ring, Cole Payne came running down to ringside through the crowd with a motorcycle helmet on and a 2x4 in hand. Payne slid under the bottom rope and nailed Izz across the back with the board and quickly climbed up the first of the four poles. Rather than grabbing his own purple chair, he grabbed Izz's black chair and tossed it up the aisle, nearly hitting the entrance way. He then grabbed his own chair, jumped down into the ring, and smashed the chair over Amazing's head, going up 1-0 in the match. Izz had obviously done some extra training for a match of this nature, and the one chair shot was not enough to put him down. With the chair on the canvas, Payne grabbed Amazing and went for a DDT, but Izz blocked it and caught Payne with a kick to the midsection before nailing a DDT of his own that landed Payne's skull on the steel. Realizing that he was already in a hole, Amazing picked up the pace, nailing Payne with a bodyslam followed by a falling headbutt to the groin before climbing up one of the poles. Amazing grabbed his chair off the pole and waited for Payne to get back to his feet. When he did, Amazing jumped off the top and nailed Payne across the skull with the chair, evening the contest at 1-1. Looking to administer some additional punishment, Amazing dragged Payne to the ropes and choked him on the middle strand before pulling Payne out to the middle of the ring and applying a sleeperhold. Payne struggled to reach the ropes, but they were out of his grasp, so instead he simply picked Amazing a few inches up off the ground and dropped backwards, crushing Amazing between himself and a steel chair that was lying on the canvas. Izz grabbed his back in pain as The Punisher pulled himself up and slowly started up another pole to grab his chair. Payne was obviously slowed, but that didn't stop him from getting to the top and grabbing his second chair. A few seconds later, he nailed Amazing over the head with the chair and took the lead in the match. Without hesitation, Payne set Amazing in the corner in a tree of woe position and went up the third pole to grab yet another chair, which he set in front of Amazing's face. Backing out to the middle of the ring, Payne nailed a baseball slide that sent the third chair into Amazing, putting Payne on the brink of victory. The referee pulled Izz free from the tree of woe while Payne made his ascent up the fourth and final pole, but before he could grab his last chair, Amazing grabbed a chair off the canvas and nailed Payne in the ribs, sending him down to the canvas. Amazing then started up the pole himself. Just as he was about to make it to the top, Payne got up and grabbed a chair, hitting the pole with such force that it shook it just enough to send Amazing off the pole and crashing to the floor. With his opponent out of the way, Payne climbed up the final pole and grabbed his final chair, which he tossed to Amazing on the floor. Amazing caught it, and Payne jumped off the apron with a spinning heel kick that sent the fourth and final chair into Amazing's face, giving Payne the decisive victory.

Wood: Cole Payne has avenged the loss that happened a few weeks ago with a dominant performance here tonight over Izz Amazing. That should remove any and all doubt over who was actually under that mask on Saturday night a few weeks back.

Brewer: Now that this feud with Izz Amazing has come and gone, Cole Payne will move on to a much bigger test as he is set to take on Masked Man X in a Ladder Match coming up on SNS this weekend. That should be a much more competitive matchup than the one we just saw.

Wood: We've got another title shot coming up momentarily, but before we send you to the ring with the midwestern title on the line, let's send you backstage for footage of something that happened earlier on tonight.

The Joker's Child and Ponch are seen walking backstage at the Arco Arena when, out of nowhere, a man dressed all in black grabbed Ponch from behind and slammed him into the back of the midwestern champion. The masked man then grabbed Joker and sent him headfirst into the arena wall before lifting him up and nailing a Death Valley Driver into the side of a dumpster! The masked man then walked off, leaving both Joker and Ponch laid out on the concrete floor.

MMP Midwestern Championship Match
THE JOKER'S CHILD (C) vs. THE CULT MASTER

The Cult Master came out first, accompanied by the reigning MMP tag team champions Harbinger and The Destroyer as well as a small group of his nameless followers. Joker came to the ring with Ponch, obviously feeling the effects of the assault that went down backstage earlier in the evening. When the opening bell sounded, Joker gave Cult a hard shove, but Cult fought back right way, nailing Joker with a flurry of punches and kicks before taking him down with a European uppercut. Dazed, Joker rolled out to the floor to catch his breath. The referee tried to get him back into the ring, but Joker seemed content just to pace on the floor. The ref started his ten count, but Joker seemed to be ignoring him. Finally, at nine, Joker rolled back in to break the count. He caught Cult by surprise with a kick to the midsectoin followed by a DDT. Joker then pulled Cult off the canvas again, nailing him with a vertical suplex. He pulled Cult up again and set him off the ropes. Ponch got up by the apron and pulled out a metal rod, which he wound up to swing at Cult Master, but before he could get a shot in, Cult's followers swarmed Ponch and chased him to the dressing room. While Joker looked out at Ponch wondering what was happening, Cult Master pulled himself back up and met Joker with a rake to the eyes. While the champion was stunned, Cult nailed a German suplex before dropkicking Joker over the top rope to the floor. He tossed Joker into the steel steps and slammed his headfirst into the post before tossing him back into the ring and setting him up for the Final Prayer. Setting Joker on the top rope, Cult Master sinched him in position for his finisher and lifted him up, but Joker blocked it and nailed Cult Master with a low blow that sent the leader of The Cult down hard to the canvas. Joker jumped down from the turnbuckle and shouted some obscenities at Harbinger and Destroyer, mocking their belief in Cult Master's teachings. The tag champs jumped up on the apron and the ref was quick to cut them off, but this move distracted him while Joker's Child went to the floor and grabbed a steel chair. When Cult Master got up, Joker nailed him over the head with it, knocking him out. Tossing the chair aside, Joker made the cover as the ref turned around to count the 1...2...3. After the match, Joker grabbed the belt and started celebrating over Cult Master when a mysterious hooded man came running down through the crowd and nailed the champion with a baseball bat covered in barbed wire. Soon, all four men at ringside were ganging up on Joker. The Cult Master got some extra shots in and then demanded a mic. The crowd watched in hushed awe as The Cult Master began to speak.

Cult Master: 'Tis another glorious day in my Holy Crusade! All beware, my little lambs, for The Cult has a new addition! Look upon the horrible visage...of DAARK!!!

***The mysterious man removes his hood and reveals a shocking scene! The man is....CLAY MOORE!!! His faced has changed dramatically his eyes are black and emotionless, his face is haggard, and his teeth are rotten with decay! He pulls out his own microphone and begins to speak in an almost robotic tone as the crowd looks on, stunned with disbelief!***

Daark: There may be many questions. What is Clay Moore doing with The Cult? What has happened to his face? Let me just say that Clay Moore is DEAD! He no longer exists. The man you see before you is Daark, the true nature of my being, brought out only by the Holy Light and Truth of The Cult Master. My life and service belong to Him now, and no one else. He is my Master. I will help Him destroy the MMP for the cause of His Holy Crusade. After my terrible nature is revealed in the coming weeks, you will ALL learn to be afraid of...THE DAARK!!!

***The Cult Master looks on with self-satisfied pride and arrogance. He laughs a powerful, maniacal laugh before he begins to speak once more...***

Cult Master: The Cult has grown ever larger...ever more powerful! Daark is with us now, and he will help ALL who do not believe in me to gain Knowledge from pain, and Enlightenment from TORTURE!!!

The Cult Master laughs maniacally as he throws his arms out to his side. As he does this, the lights in the arena go out! What seems like a split-second later, green lights fill the arena. Though the crowd can still easily hear The Cult Master's laugh, the entire group that was inside the ring is now GONE!!! The laughter begins to fade away slowly and begins to echo throughout the arena before it is heard no more.

Wood: The Joker's Child has retained the midwestern title, but in a surprising turn of events, Clay Moore has re-surfaced as Daark, a member of The Cult! The fans in Sacramento are in shock!

Brewer: I think pretty much everyone is in shock right now. We all thought that Clay Moore was gone for good, finished in the MMP. Now we se his re-emergence here at Chaos on the Coast as a follower of The Cult Master.

Wood: So while the shock of this startling turn of events sinks in, we take you to our next match. It will be a no-disqualification affair, with Mr. Beumont taking on Hyoga. A few weeks ago in a tag team match, Mr. Beumont actually scored a pin over this man, but tonight Hyoga looks to redeem himself in one on one competition. Let's go to the ring!

No Disqualification Match
MR. BEUMONT vs. HYOGA

Beumont came to the ring with Welfare William, Hobo Richard, and Chinatown Lee, all of whom were wearing CWO t-shirts. Before Beumont could even get to the ring, Hyoga came running down and nailed Beumont over the head with a steel chair and tossed him into the ring. He went to the top rope and nailed a flying elbow and covered Beumont for the 1...2...Will and Richard jumped in the ring and broke the pin up. Chinatown Lee joined in as well, but Hyoga had no trouble fighting off the four bums. As he cleared the ring of Will, Richard, and Lee, Psychotic Sam, The Joker's Child, and Ponch all came running down to the ring. The three men jumped in the ring and triple teamed Hyoga while Lee and Richard tried to revive Beumont. While The Family hammered away on Hyoga, more men came down to the ring. Masked Man X and The Fighting Heroes came out to get in on the action, as did the High Society contingent of Aries, Big Daddy Cash, and Mr. Marvellous. While the nine men pounded on Hyoga, Virus' Richards' music played over the loudspeaker and Syndicate members Virus Richards, The Bootlegger, Inferno, and The Regulator made their way down the aisle. Thirteen men were beating on Hyoga while the hobos helped Beumont get back to his feet. After everyone who wanted a shot got his shots in, the men parted and allowed Aries to grab Hyoga and nail the Godly Drop. Seeing Hyoga down and out, the hobos tossed Beumont on top of him and, with sixteen men standing guard, the referee counted the 1...2...3 to give Beumont the win. The various groups made their way out in separate directions while the CWO contingent celebrated in the ring with "We Are the Champions" playing in the background.

Wood: Ray...

Brewer: I don't believe what I just saw. I think I just saw some of the biggest stars in MMP history band together to help...Mr. Beumont win a match? This can't be right.

Brewer: I have to say I am thoroughly disappointed in some of those individuals, especially Onyx Cooper. I used to have a profound respect for this man, but he really tarnished the name of this company by coming out here tonight and helping Mr. Beumont win a match. This is truly shamefull.

Wood: Well, while Ray tries to get beyond this travesty (sarcasm), we take you to our third championship match of the evening, this time for the extreme title. Havoc was scheduled to put the belt on the line against The Masked Lard, but with the Lard's contract status up in the air, I have been told that the big man is boycotting tonight's event on the advice of his attorneys. Where this leaves the extreme title is beyond me, but I understand that Havoc is on his way down. Let's go to the ring.

Havoc came down to the ring dressed as Disco Pete with Hip Hoppin' Ron and carrying the MMP extreme title. With the news that the Lard was not going to be in attendance, Pete demanded a mic and challenged anyone in the dressing room who wanted a title shot to come on down and take it. Only a few seconds later, Aries' music came over the loudspeaker and the giant from High Society made his way down to the ring. He got between the ropes and stood nose to nose with the champ. Aries wasted no time, kicking Pete in the gut and nailing the Godly Drop!! A big boot to the face put Hip Hoppin' Ron to the outside before Aries covered Pete for the 1...2...3!!! The ref handed Aries the belt, and a new extreme champion was crowned.

Wood: Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new MMP extreme champion!!! Aries has captured the title even though he wasn't scheduled to compete tonight. Surprises are coming fast and furious here at Chaos on the Coast, so without any further delay, let's go back to the ring for our next title match. The Cult, Lone Gunz, and No Remorse will battle it out for the tag team championship!

MMP Tag Team Championship
Triple Threat Match
HARBINGER & THE DESTROYER (C) vs. LONE GUNZ vs. NO REMORSE

With No Remorse waiting in the ring, Lone Gunz made their way down with manager Charlie Hustler in tow. Sean Williams was carrying the universal championship belt that he had stolen from Bootlegger over his shoulder. Wang Chen had bandages on his forehead, presumably covering burns suffered at the hands of Inferno earlier in the evening. Finally, the reigning and defending champions came down, followed by a group of The Cult Master's loyal followers. The three teams went over some last minute strategy in their respective corners before the referee instructed Sean Williams and Harbinger, the two men determined by a coin toss earlier in the evening, to get the action underway. Neither man hesitated, but it was Harbinger getting the early advantage, taking his opponent down with a bodypress and mounting "WildCard", raking and biting at Williams' face. Tossing Williams to the corner, the rabid champion clamped both hands around Williams' throat, trying to choke his opponent out in the early going. While in the corner, Harbinger made a tag to Destroyer, who went for an avalanche with Williams trapped in his corner, but "WildCard" moved out of the way and Destroyer ran sternum first into the corner. The big man was staggered, but did not go down. He rushed Williams with a clothesline, but the challenger somersaulted away, getting to his corner and tagging in Wang Chen. Chen slowed the pace down considerably, taking his time in stepping between the ropes and staring down the man he pinned to win the Survivor's Cup at the last PPV. Again Destroyer went for a clothesline, and again his opponent ducked away from the bigger and slower man's assault and countered with a pair of dropkicks that phased the massive Destroyer, but didn't take him down. Bouncing off the ropes for extra momentum, Chen nailed Destroyer with a flying crossbody that finally got the big man off his feet. Destroyer backed into the corner, but he didn't realize that it was the corner of Lone Gunz! Sean Williams held Destroyer in place and Wang Chen charged, nailing the big man with an avalanche that dazed him further. As he stumbled out from the buckle, Chen dove shoulder first into the front of his opponent's knees, but it was almost as if Destroyer expected that kind of attack as he stepped back and caught Chen in the back of the head with a big forearm smash. Pulling Chen up, Destroyer nailed a headbutt followed by a backbreaker before dragging The Conman to the neutral corner and lying him on his stomach. Williams shouted encouragement from the apron as Destroyer went up to the second rope. After getting his balance on the second buckle, Destroyer came off with a Vader bomb, but his near 500 pound frame missed the mark as Chen rolled out of the way. Both Chen and Destroyer looked anywhere for the chance to make a tag, be it to their own partners or to a member of an opposing team. As the two men neared their corners, someone started coming down the aisle. It was Family members Mr. Beumont and Brick Stevens! With all of the competitors paying close attention to the match, which was at a crucial moment, nobody saw the two men sneak up from behind and nail Blitzkrieg with a steel chair! MMP security was quick to come down and subdue the invaders, who shouted We're the real HWA champions!! at No Remorse as they were escorted away. Chen was the first man to his feet, and he made the exchange with his Lone Gunz partner Sean Williams. Destroyer pulled himself up, but he was in the No Remorse corner. He turned around to make the tag, but saw only Whiplash's back as the former MMP tag champ was checking on Blitzkrieg, who had been taken down with the chair shot. Destroyer shouted at Whiplash, but was met with a double dropkick from behind by Lone Gunz! The big man crashed into the corner, knocking Whiplash off the apron in the process. With the skirmish going on on the outside, new Family member Chinatown Lee was able to get past security, carrying a CWO t- shirt. He jumped up on the apron and tried to get Wang Chen to accept it, but before The Conman could reply, he was met with a dropkick to the back of the head from Harbinger! Chen spilled out to the floor, and Harbinger quickly followed. Destroyer followed Whiplash out to the floor and nailed him with a huge headbutt, but was attacked from behind by Blitzkrieg, who had shaken off the effects of the attack from Beumont and Stevens. Blitz and Destroyer fought in the aisle while Wang Chen battled Harbinger near the announce table. Meanwhile, Sean Williams distracted the referee in the ring, allowing Ace High bouncers Mikey and Bull to come out from the back and toss Whiplash into the ring. Whiplash, who was ruled the legal man after being knocked off the apron by Destroyer, was quickly slapped in the Ghetto Fabulous! Whiplash held on for a few seconds, but quickly had to tap out, and Lone Gunz were crowned the NEW tag team champions! As the ref presented Williams with the two belts, more security headed down to ringside to break up the various skirmishes that were in progress on the outside. One security man, however, got in the ring behind Williams. He pulled a taser out from under his shirt and jabbed it into Williams' back, sending him spasming all over the ring. He whipped off his cap and shades to reveal The Bootlegger underneath! Bootlegger grabbed his universal championship belt, shouted some obscenities at Williams, and headed back to the dressing room while security struggled to regain order.

Wood: Folks, we have new MMP tag team champions, and they are Wang Chen and Sean Williams! Many insiders wondered whether those two would be able to function together as a unit in a high profile match, but they did enter the evening with wins over No Remorse and West Law & Damien Jentz, two former champion teams, and tonight they proved the critics wrong by capturing the titles.

Brewer: Wood, Wang Chen and Sean Williams may be champions by title, but even you have to agree that this win is less than decisive. After all, Williams beat Whiplash, who was not part of the defending champion team. Harbinger and Destroyer will want a rematch, and I think they deserve it.

Wood: If Lone Gunz are fighting champions, I'm sure Harbinger and Destroyer will get their title shot, but there are several other teams who would like a crack at the titles. No Remorse is always a top contender, and the rookie duo of Ying and Yang have won their first two matches and might be looking for a shot. The tag team division is going strong in the MMP. It will be a true test to see if Lone Gunz can hold onto the titles. Our next match should put the cap on a feud that has spanned nearly six months and multiple federations. It will be a Texas Death Match with Wolverine, representing The Untouchables, taking on the leader of The Legion of Heroes, Masked Man X. Let's go to the action!

Texas Death Match
WOLVERINE vs. MASKED MAN X

Wolverine was waiting in the ring as Masked Man X came down to the ring with a crowbar. He stepped through the ropes slowly, but Wolverine didn't want to wait. He rushed MMX before the bell and backed him into a corner, nailing a series of kneelifts to the ribs and elbow shots to the face against the turnbuckle. Wolverine grabbed his dazed opponent and nailed a belly to belly suplex. The former Michigan Outlaw was in control early on. After taking MMX down again with a lariat, Wolverine went to the floor and grabbed a steel chair. In the meantime, MMX crawled under the bottom rope and grabbed his crowbar that had been knocked to the floor by Wolverine's early assault. Wolverine pulled his opponent up, but MMX met him with a crowbar shot square in the midsection followed by a blow across the back. MMX backed up and nailed Wolverine with a roundhouse kick to the chest that backed him against the ropes before taking him over with a huracanrana. MMX then went for a surprising submission hold, slapping on an anklelock. Realizing that this could be a long match and that he would be very unlikely to win on one leg, Wolverine reached with all his strength for the bottom rope, finally grabbing it to force the break. The same man who appeared during the Fighting Heroes tag team match earlier then made his way down to ringside, dressed all in black with initials "PCP" on his back in purple. MMX spotted him in the aisle and, before he could make it to ringside, intercepted the mystery man and the two brawled all the way to the back. Wolverine pulled himself up and looked on, not quite sure what to make of the situation. Before he could react, another MMX came out from under the ring on the other side, wielding another crowbar. This second MMX jumped in the ring and nailed Wolverine over the head as a man in a hood and cloak came down to the ring. The new mystery man distracted the new MMX as Wolverine reached into this boot, pulling out a foot-long chain. He wrapped the chain around his right fist and got slowly back to his feet, waiting behind MMX. When the masked man turned around, Wolverine nailed him square in the forehead, knocking him down hard. With his opponent out, Wolverine turned and argued with the mystery man on the floor before turning back and tossing MMX out to the floor where he nailed a Rocker Dropper that drove MMX's face into the concrete floor. Wolverine rolled back into the ring as the mystery man reached into his cloak and pulled out an ether soaked rag, which he used to smother MMX! The masked man was fading quickly, and within a matter of seconds he was motionless. The cloaked man rolled MMX back into the ring where Wolverine nailed the Michigan Spike and covered him for the three count. With a pinfall in the books, the referee started his ten count. At six, a third MMX hopped over the guardrail, carrying yet another crowbar, and came up from behind Wolverine. He spun Wolverine around and nailed him square in the face with the crowbar, knocking him unconscious. After standing the second MMX up in the corner to prevent the ten count, the third MMX pulled Wolverine up and nailed the X-Plex for the three count. The referee then started his ten count, and the effects of all the crowbar shots was setting in. Wolverine started to move at eight, but couldn't get back to his feet. The count hit ten, and Masked Man X was declared the winner.

Wood: Masked Man X wins the Texas Death Match, but this match has more questions than answers surrounding the result. Wolverine was left to contend with not one, not two, but THREE men dressed as MMX, and we are still wondering as to the identity of both the man with the initials "PCP" on his back as well as that cloaked man who came down to ringside a few moments ago.

Brewer: Well, Wood, with all these questions, ask yourself a few questions. Who has the initials PCP that might have a beef with Masked Man X? Hmm, that's a tough one, isn't it. As for the cloaked man, your guess is as good as mine, but I think MMX has made enough enemies over the past couple of weeks that it could have been anybody.

Wood: Our next match is one that MMP fans have been waiting nearly a year to see. Two Hall of Famers will go one on one for the first time in history. Psychotic Sam takes on the man who earlier tonight stunned the sold-out Arco Arena crowd by capturing the extreme title in an impromptu match against Disco Pete. This will be a non-title match, but it should be a good one nonetheless.

PSYCHOTIC SAM vs. ARIES

Aries came down with Mr. Marvellous and Big Daddy Cash, while Sam was joined by Mike the Giant Retard. The two exchanged some heated words, but before long Sam reached over to Mike, grabbed Harold the Fish, and nailed Aries in the groin with the wooden backing! Big Daddy Cash nailed Sam with a clothesline to the back, but Sam turned around and caught the rookie with the Psychotic Smash! Marvellous attacked Mike with the Greatest Man Alive title belt, and when Aries got back to his feet, he hit Mike with the Godly Drop! The five men could not be separated, and the ref had no choice but to rule a double disqualification.

Wood: We get the wild action we expected, but unfortunately for everyone in attendance and everyone watching on TV, the ref was never able to get the match underway. It could have been an outstanding confrontation, but it appears that it wasn't in the cards. What could be one of the most brutal matches ever in the MMP is coming up next. You see the ring crew errecting the steel box all around the ringside area that will house the first ever Man in the Box Match between Virus Richards and Dr. No Limit. I understand that there will be only thirty minutes worth of oxygen inside and the only broadcast will be from a small camera hanging from the top northeast corner of the cube. Anything goes, and the first man to score a fall wins. The box is ready to go, so let's send you inside the steel!

Man in the Box Match
VIRUS RICHARDS vs. DR. NO LIMIT

DNL came to the ring first, joined as always by Zane and Charles. He had a big haul of weapons with him, setting a table, a mirror, barbed wire, and thumbtacks one in each of the four corners of the ring. Virus was joined by his usual entourage of Michael and his two nameless security men. His associates kept a bag on the outside, while Virus entered the ring with a sack of his own. As Virus stepped between the ropes, DNL caught him with a steel chair shot to the throat before whipping him to the corner wrapped in barbed wire and choking his opponent with his bare hands. The combination lock on the door was locked, and the two men were trapped inside with no possibility of interference. With Virus standing prone against the turnbuckle and lying against barbed wire, DNL went for an avalanche, but Virus had the move scouted and ducked out of the way, causing DNL to land chest first on the barbed wire. Virus took advantage, nailing DNL with a series of kicks to the ribcage before going into his sack and grabbing a cinder block and using it to hit DNL over the head. The big man was nearly out on his feet as Virus tossed him over the top rope into the solid steel wall of the cube outside. After slamming DNL face first into the steel, Virus rolled him back in and went back to his sack, this time pulling out a baseball and a wooden bat. When DNL got back to his feet, Virus tossed the ball up in the air and swung the bat, hitting the ball line-drive style right at DNL's face! Blood gushed from DNL's nose and his right eye was blackened as Virus put his throat on the middle rope and tried to choke him out. After a few moments, Virus released the hold, but when he moved back in, DNL spun around and grabbed him around the throat, choking Virus out of desperation with his bare hands. DNL used Virus' neck to pull himself back up and eventually released the hold, only to grab a steel chair out of Virus' sack and hit him over the head with it. He then set the chair up in the middle of the ring and lifted Virus in a gorilla press, dropping him throat first on the back of the chair. DNL delivered a kneedrop before pulling Virus up and slapping on a sleeperhold. For some reason, Virus was fading fast, much faster than usual. He only managed to save himself by falling backwards and sending both himself and DNL through the ropes to the floor, causing the hold to be broken. Watching on the monitors on the outside, Virus' security men were desperately trying to find a way into the box, but before they could try and break in, they were cut off by Zane and Charles! The four men brawled all the way to the back, leaving only Michael still at ringside. Inside the box, DNL reached into his elbowpad and pulled out a rag soaked in ether, similar to the one that had been used in the Wolverine/MMX match. Wrapping it around his arm, DNL waited for Virus to get back up while on the outside, Michael went into his bag and pulled out a blowtorch. He lit it up and pressed the flame against the wall, but there was no penetration. The steel didn't melt in the least. Virus got back up and DNL slapped on another sleeperhold and Virus used the same counter again, rushing backwards but this time pressing DNL back against the box. A sickening scream could be heard coming from inside the box, and it was soon realized that Virus had backed DNL against the same part of the steel that Michael was heating with the blowtorch!! DNL lost his grip and Virus held his position, holding Michael's back against the scorching-hot steel wall. After a few moments, Virus backed away, letting DNL collapse to the floor. DNL grabbed his back with both hands, screaming in pain with what appeared to be at least second degree burns all over his back. Virus tossed him into the ring and went to the top rope where he nailed a frog splash and covered DNL for the 1...2...3!! The official opened the lock on the box and paramedics rushed down to attend to DNL's injuries while Virus gasped for breath as Michael helped him to the back.

Wood: What a brutal encounter! Virus Richards has won the Man in the Box Match, and as a result of a prematch stipulation, DNL must spend two weeks working for Virus' "Coach's Hotline". As you can see, paramedics are tending to DNL's back, which has been severly burned, and we hope to have an update on his condition for you before we go off the air tonight.

Brewer: More importantly, this puts The Syndicate up 2-0 in their series tonight against The Untouchables. Things are looking good for Richards, Korso, Barlotta, and crew as we head into our final two matches here in Sacramento.

Wood: As the ring crew finishes disassembling the steel box from our previous match, the ominous Hell in a Cell is being lowered from the ceiling. Possibly the biggest match ever over the universal championship is coming up next!

MMP Universal Championship
Hell in a Cell
THE BOOTLEGGER (C) vs. THE RYNO

The Bootlegger was introduced first, and received the loudest chorus of boos of anyone the entire evening. He was joined by "Sarah" and was carrying his two universal championship belts - both the one he retrieved from Sean Williams earlier in the evening and the one he had made to replace the other when Williams stole the original. He stopped to soak in the jeers of the fans, but before he made it to ringside, Ryno came running down the aisle and dropkicked him in the back with football cleats! Bootlegger went down like he'd been shot, and Ryno went right to work on getting the universal title back. He slammed Bootlegger head first into the cell door before going under the ring for a weapon - a bunch of flourescent tubes taped together. He shattered the tubes over Bootlegger's head as the referee put the chain and padlock on the cell door. Ryno kicked away at his opponent and Bootlegger crawled away as fast as he could, relying on a momentary distraction from "Sarah" to get back to his feet. Playing hurt, Bootlegger stood doubled over against the ring post, but as Ryno moved in, Bootlegger caught him with a kick to the midsection followed by a DDT on the floor. The champion slammed his challenger into the post before rolling him into the ring and applying a sleeperhold. Ryno seemed to be fading and the referee checked his arm, but on the third drop, Ryno shot his arm up high and quickly backed Bootlegger into the buckle. Bootlegger's grip loosened, but he quickly regained control. Ryno backed him against the corner again, and this time Bootlegger was forced to release the hold. With his opponent doubled over with the wind knocked out of him, Ryno went down to the floor and grabbed a chair, nailing Bootlegger across the back and over the head before choking him on the second rope. After a few moments Ryno released, only to be met with a thumb to the eye from Bootlegger. Bootlegger grabbed the blinded Ryno and slapped on an abdominal stretch, using the top rope for extra leverage and eventually turning the move into a face slam. Bootlegger then ran the ropes and went for a legdrop, but Ryno moved out of the way, causing the big Italian to hit the canvas hard. The challenger capitalized, nailing Bootlegger with another chair shot before sitting him in the chair and nailing him with a dropkick. Ryno grabbed the chair and went to hit Bootlegger again, but this time the defending champion pulled the referee in front to absorb the blow, knocking the official out cold. Both men were distracted by the downed referee, but Ryno quickly refocused, hit Bootlegger in the stomach with the chair, and nailed the Ryno Charge!! The challenger made the cover, but there was no referee to make the count. After five or six seconds, Ryno got up and went over to revive the referee. While he did so, Bootlegger recovered and nailed him from behind with a low blow. With Ryno doubled over, Bootlegger grabbed him and nailed a fallaway slam that sent Ryno over the top and hard into the cell. Ryno hit the mat hard and Bootlegger hit the canvas. Ryno pulled himself up slowly, but "Sarah" wasn't about to let him get back in the ring. Pulling a taser out from under her dress, "Sarah" jabbed it into Ryno's back, putting the challenger down, his body spasming on the arena floor. Bootlegger slowly slid out and rolled Ryno back into the ring where he nailed the Heart's Desire. After roughly shaking the ref to bring him around, Bootlegger covered Ryno for the three count to retain the title.

Wood: Under some highly controversial circumstances, The Bootlegger has retained the universal title, but I think everyone in this building saw that Ryno had the man beaten if only there was a referee available to make the count.

Brewer: That's a judgment call, Wood. That's why the match isn't decided by video replay. You never know exactly how the wrestlers would react under different circumstances. The Syndicate/Untouchables series is now 3-0 for the Syndicate, and things aren't looking good for O'Conner as the main event draws closer.

Wood: Indeed, we are only moments away from the MMP world championship being on the line. Will the Syndicate sweep tonight's series, or will O'Conner be able to retain the title it took him nearly eight months to attain. To find out, we send you to the ring for our main event!

MMP World Championship
Weapons Match
CAPTAIN PATRICK O'CONNER (C) vs. THE REGULATOR

O'Conner came to the ring with George at his side and his trusty shileleagh club in hand, keeping a close eye on Regulator as he stepped between the ropes. Reg charged him right away, but the Captain was ready for him, ducking away from Cooper's charge and catching him with the shileleag to the head. Regulator fell back into the corner, but O'Conner didn't let up, catching the challenger with a spinning heel kick against the buckle. O'Conner nailed an ocean cyclone suplex before throwing Regulator over the top rope to the floor. As Regulator pulled himself up, O'Conner slingshot himself over the top rope, taking Regulator down with a corkscrew plancha on the floor. A headscissor takedown from the champion sent Regulator back first into the ring steps before O'Conner tossed him back into the ring. The Captain went to the top rope with his shileleagh in hand, nailing a flying axhandle with the club before slapping on the Celtic Cross! Regulator tried to reach the ropes, but his diminutive size was working against him. He couldn't make it, and eventually had no choice but to tap out. Much to the delight of the Sacramento crowd, O'Conner had retained the world title and left celebrating with George. While Regulator pulled himself back up, the masked man who had attacked Joker's Child backstage earlier on came running down through the crowd. The masked man pulled Regulator out to the apron and nailed him with a Death Valley Driver through the announce table!! The man took off through the audience, his identity still a mystery as the camera fades to black.
