*Live from Key Arena in Seattle, WA, a sellout crowd anxiously awaits the start of MMP Chaos on the Coast. Commentators Jerry Wood and Ray Brewer are seated at ringside*
Wood: What a night of action we have for you tonight. Five titles are on the line, and we have a special 25-man battle royal to determine the final two competitors in the main event for the world title.
Brewer: Wood, the people didn't come buy this show to listen to you talk! Let's go to the ring!
Match #1: 25 Man MMP/HWA Battle Royal
The competitors made their way to the ring. They included DiscoMania 2000, Mr. Morgan, Stomp Demon, Venom Seed, Highjacker, Man o' Fire, Inmate 63183, Stevenson Leroux, Blitzkrieg, Darkson, Mr. Marvellous, Aries, "The Demented" xXx, "Massacre" Mark Allyn, and Gus the Plumber. The HWA contingent made it's way out, led my members of the "Asylum" Psycho Smith, Leather Lunatic, Masked Lard, and Bolivian Terror. The final competitors included The Ryno, Aaron Shreve, Tyrone "The Pimp" Hughes, Brick Stevens, and Gargantuan. After the 24 men had made it to the ring, Diamond King appeared in the aisle to introduce the mystery 25th man. It was HWA World Champion Jamaal!!!!
The action got under way when Mr. Marvellous attacked the HWA's Ryno with brass knuckles. As people began to pair off, it was evident that smaller men would be in for a difficult time. Mr. Morgan rushed the HWA giant known as Leather Lunatic and was easily tossed over the top. Inmate 63183 then tried his luck, but he was caught by Leather and hit with the Labotomy. The ref counted to three to eliminate the Inmate. On the other side of the ring, Ryno was being pummeled by Mr. Marvellous. Mr. M climbed the ropes to taunt the crowd, but Ryno regained his senses and threw Marvellous over the top rope! As Jamaal finally made his way to ringside, several men stopped to wait on the HWA Champion. Others took advantage, throwing the distracted men over the top rope. Tyrone Hughes, Gargantuan, Highjacker, and Stomp Demon were thrown out while their attentions were focused on Jamaal. Aries, a man of similar size to Jamaal confronted the man from Sudan in the middle of the ring.
The match came to a virtual stand still as these two giants exchanged rights and lefts. Asylum members Smith, Lunatic, Terror and Lard stood together in a corner to watch the two men duke it out. As the battle began to separate, Smith and Lunatic grabbed Jamaal and threw him over the top. Lard and Terror joined up and tossed Aries out of the match!!! The Asylum was cleaning house!!! Enraged, Jamaal got back in the ring, eliminating people left and right. He grabbed DiscoMania 2000 and put him out. He did the same to "The Demented" xXx. He grabbed Aaron Shreve and delivered the Sudan Slam before leaving the ring. Unconscious, Shreve lay prone in the middle of the ring. Mark Allyn took the opportunity and made the cover to score the pin and eliminate Shreve. Jamaal was finally convinced to leave the ring, but he pulled Leather Lunatic out with him. The two men brawled to the back.
A man could be seen coming to ringside. It was MMP rookie Havoc!!! He came out to console Aries, who had been eliminated by the Asylum. As Bolivian Terror and Masked Lard taunted them, Venom Seed came up on Terror from behind and delivered a DDT! In a shocker, Venom Seed got a pin to eliminate the HWA Intercontinental Champion! On the other side of the ring, Gus the Plumber and Mark Allyn were duking it out. Masked Lard took advantage of the two and splashed them against the ropes, sending them over the top to the floor. Unfortunatly for Lard, his momentum carried him over the top aswell. Soon after, Aries and Havoc climbed into the ring, taking out their frustrations on everyone. Venom Seed and Man o' Fire were knocked over the top. Havoc grabbed Stevenson Leroux by the neck, picked him up in the air and dropped him into the first row of seats. They next targeted Darkson, which may have been a mistake. Darkson went over the top, but pulled the two men out with him. The three brawled, with Darkson easily handling the two intruders. The match was down to four men: Psycho Smith, The Ryno, Blitzkrieg, and Brick Stevens.
Blitzkrieg and Stevens paired off in one corner, Ryno and Smith in the other. Stevens worked over Blitz and put him on the top rope. He was going for the Bricklayer!!! Blitz, however, regained his senses and pushed Brick off the turnbuckle and over the top rope! He then ducked under the bottom rope and hit at ringside. Seeing no one else in the ring, Smith and Ryno shook hands and stopped fighting. Smith jumped over the top rope. Ryno did the same. Blitzkrieg got back in the ring and celebrated as the bell sounded. BLITZKRIEG WINS the battle royal!!! He and The Ryno would be in the title match. Smith, with a look of disgust on his face, turned and attacked the Ryno and the two fought all the way to the dressing room. Members of Disposable Heroes hit the ring to celebrate with their leader.
Wood: What a match! Blitzkrieg and The Ryno will be in the main event!
Brewer: I gotta think Diamond King is the favorite now. Neither of those men will have enough energy left to make an impact.
Wood: Let's go back to the ring!
Match #2: Spearhead vs. G-XXX
As Spearhead waited in the ring, G-XXX came to the ring with a mic. He stated that in the MMP he wanted to go by his real name, Xenith Xavier and that he would not be part of the MMP faction of GX. He wanted to stay with the group in the HWA, but in the MMP he wanted to prove to the world that he is a star. As he got to the ring, Spearhead gained an early advantage.
Spearhead worked over Xavier with vicious body shots in the corner. Throwing his opponent across the ring, Spearhead connected with an impressive powerslam.. Throwing Xavier to the outside of the ring, Spearhead continued on the offense. He threw Xavier into the ringpost and then into the steel steps. After tossing Xavier back into the ring, Spearhead grabbed a chair and got in the ring.
The referee admonished Spearhead for bringing the weapon into the ring, but Spear didn't care. He hit Xavier with the chair before seating Xavier on it in the middle of the ring. Why was the ref allowing this? Spearhead backed up, and then charged at Xavier, attempting the Indian Spear! Xavier moved, and Spearhead hit nothing but steel. Taking advantage, Xavier put Spearhead on the top rope and hit the X-Factor on the chair!! He covered the man and got the pin. XAVIER WINS by pinfall. As he made his way to the back, he heard cheers from the crowd for the first time in his career.
Wood: An impressive win for the "new" Xenith Xavier.
Brewer: I don't understand it, Wood. Why would you ever leave a team that's on top. When I played ball at Ohio State, I knew better than to walk out on the team when we were on top of the polls. I just don't understand it!
Wood: We now go out back to the parking lot for our next match, a falls-count-anywhere match between Apocalypse and The Raiding Party.
Match #3: Apocalypse (Masked Terror, Living Fear & Tower of Doom) vs. The Raiding Party (Slash, Leader & Degenerate Kid)
Slash and Kid stood in the parking lot waiting for their opponents. They were also missing their third partner. Leader came out from the back and got into a heated argument with Kid for no apparent reason. As the two were animated, a black Saab came speeding in and ran over Slash!! Apocalypse got out and attacked Kid while Leader looked on. Tower put Kid on the Hood of the car, and then climbed up to join him. He delivered a gorilla press powerslam off the car onto the concrete on the stunned Kid!!! As Terror dragged Slash over, Leader removed his leather jacket to reveal an Apocalypse t-shirt underneath. He put his left foot on the chest of Slash and his right foot on the chest of Kid. Terror ordered the ref to count. APOCALYPSE WINS by Leader's pin of both Slash and Kid. The four men then piled into the car and drove off, leaving Kid and Slash lying in pools of blood.
Wood: How could he do that to two of his top protegés? What kind of man could do that??
Brewer: What do you mean? How could he not take that opportunity? What had those two ever accomplished around here? He's definitely on the right side now!!
Wood: We now go to the first of our FIVE title matches here tonight. Sniper Malloy defends the Midwestern title against The Wall in a ladder match!
Match #4: Midwestern Title/Ladder Match - Sniper Malloy (C) vs. The Wall
As Malloy waited in the ring, he handed his belt to the referee. The belt was raised to the rafters on a large meat hook. As Wall was announced, a man in a suit came to the ring. He said that Wall would not be appearing tonight because he had been arrested on his way to the arena. Malloy looked puzzlingly at the referee, who said that there still had to be a match. He rang the bell.
Malloy needed only to climb the ladder and grab his belt, which would be easy given that he had no opponent. As he reached the top of the ladder, the hook began to move. It carried the belt back to the entrance way, where a second ladder was standing. The Wall came out from the back, climbed the ladder and grabbed the belt. THE WALL WINS the Midwestern title, albeit in controversial fashion. Malloy, standing on top of the ladder in disbelief, delivered The Hit on the suit and chased Wall back to the dressing room.
Brewer: What a win for Wall!!! What a great plan!!! He played Malloy for a fool!
Wood: How can that decision go through?? Malloy was robbed!!
Brewer: Hey, Wood, you're not paid to be opinionated. Why can't you act like a professional out here and be unbiased? Get with it, Wood!
Wood: It's now time for the first of our two debut matches. Remy Lebeau will meet Soul Crusher. What do you know about these two men?
Brewer: Nothing, Wood. You said it yourself. This is the first time we've ever seen these two guys. Let's just go to the match!
Match #5: "Heartbreaker" Remy Lebeau vs. Soul Crusher
Soul Crusher came to the ring first. Lebeau then made his way to the ring. He stopped halfway down the aisle and invited an attractive teenage girl to serve as his valet for the match. She cheerfully accepted and followed Remy to ringside. Unimpressed by his opponent's tactics, Soul Crusher jumped his opponent before the bell.
Soul Crusher delivered several vicious body shots before Remy could gain an advantage. Remy used his speed to keep Soul Crusher off guard. He hit a couple of dropkicks and a hurnacanrana, waving to the crowd after each move. Crusher angrily lunged at Remy, but was caught in an armlock that rode Crusher to the mat. Remy was definitely in control.
Suddenly, the crowd noticed someone coming to the ring. It was Genesis, angrily grumbling to himself while pacing around the squared circle. Noticing that Genesis had arrived, Remy released the hold and focused on the intruder. Crusher seized the opportunity, leveling Remy from behind and delivering a powerslam. After a series of power moves, Crusher was dominating Remy. He set Remy up for the German Clutch.
With Genesis still pacing, Remy's valet decided to get involved. She made the mistake of going over to Genesis and slapping him across the face! Unfortuneatly for the girl, Genesis could hit much harder. He smashed the youngster, who tumbled to the concrete. Enraged, Genesis grabbed a chair and climbed into the ring. The ref tried to stop him, but he was nailed for his troubles. Soul Crusher, seeing the madman, broke the hold and ran for his life to the locker room area. Genesis then began to beat on Remy with the chair. The ref came around and called for the bell. REMY LEBEAU WINS by disqualification. Several MMP officials came out to stop the attack, but they were unsuccesful. Genesis laid them all out. Darkson came to the ring and pulled Genesis off his attack. As the two mysterious men made their way to the dressing room, EMT's came out to help Lebeau and his young valet.
Wood: That guy is a madman! He has no place in the MMP!!
Brewer: Hey, pay attention Wood. He was minding his own business until that little tramp attacked him. He simply couldn't control his rage!
Wood: We have another title match, this time it's for the Television Championship. Let's get to the action.
Match #6: Television Championship - Virus Richards (C) vs. Prof. Smiley
This match was determined by fan balloting. This contest between two undefeated superstars was signed by the MMP faithful, many of whom would like nothing less than to see GX's Virus finally lose the title. The two men faced off in the ring. They locked up with neither man gaining much of an advantage. Virus extended his hand to Smiley, and the fans booed passionately. They knew that Virus was a less than honorable competitor. Evidently, Smiley knew the same. He grabbed Virus' hand and delivered a solid left to the face. Smiley applied an armlock, but Virus was able to break the hold by reaching the ropes. Virus attacked Smiley, but he was again caught in a wear down hold. For the second time, Virus reached the ropes.
As the ref admonished Smiley for not breaking the hold, Virus delivered a low blow that sent the Professor reeling. Taking advantage, Virus hit Smiley with a backbreaker. He repeated the move before throwing Smiley to the outside where he rammed the Prof. into the ringpost. Smiley was barely able to get back in the ring before the count out. When he did so, Virus was waiting for him. He delivered another backbreaker before putting the Professor in a camel clutch.
To Smiley's credit, he did not give up. Out of frustration, Virus broke the hold and stomped Smiley's back. He covered the challenger and got a two-count. He picked the man up, delivered a running powerslam, and again went for a pin. Smiley kicked out at two. Enraged that the referee, in his opinion, was counting slowly, Virus shoved the ref. The two men argued until Virus shoved the ref again. In the meantime, Smiley had gotten back to his feet. Virus shoved the ref a third time. This time, the ref shoved back, knocking Virus into Smiley, who hit his finisher "The Textbook". Unfortunatly for Smiley, he did not have enough strength left to hold in a bridge position and he crumbled to the mat. Virus got up and put on the "No Known Cure". Smiley struggled, but made it to the ropes. Virus grabbed the man, dragged him to the middle of the ring, and again applied the hold. This time, Smiley tapped out. VIRUS RICHARDS WINS by submission. He grabbed his belt from the timekeeper and marched back to the locker room.
Wood: A big win for the Television Champion.
Brewer: Yes, but more importantly, it gives GX some momentum. They still have two more title matches coming up.
Wood: We now go to the ring for our Unemployment Match. Stunner Steele is set to take on Metal Machine, where the loser must leave the MMP.
Match #7: Unemploymenet Match - Stunner Steele vs. Metal Machine
This match was designed to end the feud between these two that had been ongoing since the first MMP card back in early April. It did just that, though in a manner that disappointed many of the fans.
As Steele was being announced, the Commish made his way to ringside. He announced that both Steele and Machine had refused his latest contract offer and that it was now official that neither man would be returning to the MMP. He said that he could not allow two men who had no future in the company to occupy MMP television time, nor was he willing to assume the liability should either man be injured. He said that this was regrettable, yet the only decision open to him.
Wood: What is that?!? The Commish is screwing the fans with this move!
Brewer: What are you talking about? Those two ingrates have no spot wrestling on an MMP show. The Commish will make sure that neither of them find a job in this industry ever again. Anyhow, we got the Universal title on the line. Let's go to the ring!
Match #8: Universal Championship - Crematorium (C) vs. The Vagrant
This match got under way immediately and, in typical Crematorium fashion, it did not last very long. As Vagrant was making his way to the ring, Crematorium jumped him in the aisle. He slammed Vagrant into the guard rail and powerslammed him on the concrete. Dragging the man to the ring, Crematorium ordered the ref to ring the bell and start the match.
Once in the ring, Vagrant never had a chance. Crematorium dominated from start to finish. Pounding the challenger in the corner, the champion opened up a large gash across the forehead of his opponent. The referee ordered him to back off so that Vagrant could regain a standing position. Crematorium did so and, after about a minute, Vagrant was on his feet. The champion pulled the man to the middle of the ring and delivered the Incinerator to get the pin. CREMATORIUM WINS by pinfall. He grabbed his belt from the referee and ran back to the locker room.
Wood: Wow, I picked Crematorium to win, but I thought Vagrant would at least put up a fight.
Brewer: Really, you picked Crematorium. You must be some kind of prognostications genius. Hey, guess what, I picked Goldberg to beat Johnny Attitude on WCW Nitro last week. Maybe we should start up one of those gambling hotlines. We could make millions giving out advice like that!!!
Wood: Very funny. We now go to the second of our two debut matches. Lenny Shaw returns to the ring to take a second shot at a wrestling career.
Brewer: Yeah, and nice choice for a first opponent. Orion is huge, Wood. He should crush "Little" Lenny.
Match #9: Orion (w/Bionic Pipe) vs. Lenny Shaw
Surprisingly, Lenny had an early advantage in this match. He started off by hitting Orion with a couple of stiff dropkicks which had no effect on the man. To buy himself some time, Lenny told the ref that Bionic Pipe was getting in the ring. While the ref confronted the innocent Pipe, Lenny hit Orion below the belt. He then pulled out a lead pipe from under the ring and hit Orion with it twice before throwing the pipe out of the ring. He got the ref's attention and covered Orion. After a one-count, Orion kicked out, throwing Lenny over the top rope.
This was the turning point in the match. Lenny landed awkwardly on his right leg during his fall and jerked his knee. With the ref attending to Orion, Bionic Pipe got out a pipe of his own and twice hit Lenny in his injured knee before throwing him back into the ring. Orion took over, slamming Lenny repeatedly and dropping elbows on the injured leg.
Sensing that he had the match won, Orion went to his corner to get some advice from Pipe. As Lenny struggled to his feet, Orion charged and leveled Lenny with a vicious lariat. Orion picked up his smaller opponent and placed him on the top rope. Climbing the turnbuckle, Orion's head was nearly 15 feet above the ring. He grabbed Lenny and delivered the Orion's Blast to score the pin. ORION WINS by pinfall...
Or does he? After the match, Bionic Pipe got in the ring and repeatedly attacked Lenny with his pipe. When the referee ordered the attack to stop, Orion picked him up and threw him through the timekeeper's table. The bell sounded a second time. The referee announced that he had reversed his decision. LENNY SHAW WINS by reverse-decision disqualification. Hearing this, Orion picked up Lenny and tossed on top of the ref. Bionic Pipe demanded the mic and made a statement:"MMP, this is just the begininng of the damage that will happen at the hands of Disposable Heroes!!! So MMP, fear the Pipe!!!" After finishing his comments, Pipe threw the mic at the ref and the two men made their way to the back.
Wood: I can't believe it! Lenny Shaw wins!!
Brewer: I look at Lenny and I look at Orion and I think I would rather be Orion at this point. If Lenny, as he is right now, is a winner, I think I'd rather be a loser. Orion just destroyed that guy!
Wood: Yes, but when Lenny reads the sports section tomorrow, he'll feel much better seeing his name in the win column. It's now time for Tag Team Championship action!!!
Match #10: Tag Team Championship - Gus the Plumber & Powerhouse (C) vs. The GX Revolution (Carl Donovan & Hangman)
With the champions waiting in the ring, GX made it's way down the aisle. They drew the standard chorus of boos from the crowd. Virus Richards, the TV champ, was at ringside with his fellow GX members. Gus and Hangman opened the match.
Hangman, known more for his technique than his power, was easily overmatched by the strength of Gus. After being slammed twice with authority, Hangman scurried over to his corner and tagged in his much larger partner. Donovan and Gus traded rights and lefts, and then locked up in a test of strength. Donovan gained the advantage by kicking Gus below the belt. The referee, realizing the importance of the match, allowed the move and did not call for the disqualification. Donovan worked over Gus with a series of back breakers, trying to set up for his Flatliner finisher. Hangman tagged back in, using his speed to hit several high impact moves on Gus and then using his technical abilities to wear down his opponent's neck and back. After several quick exchanges, GX moved in for the kill.
With Donovan in the ring, Virus went around and distracted Powerhouse. Powerhouse chased the TV champ back to the locker room before returning to the ring. This allowed Donovan to place Gus on the top rope and hit the Flatliner. After a two count, Donovan pulled the man up and tagged in Hangman. Setting Gus up for the Hangman Suplex, Hangman taunted the crowd. As Powerhouse made his way back to the ring, Hangman tried to execute his finisher, but Gus' frame was too much for him to lift. Gus blocked the attempt and clotheslined Hangman. Both men struggled, but were able to tag their partners.
The fresh Powerhouse routed Donovan with a series of lariats. He then turned his attention to Hangman, who had managaed to get back in the ring. Powerhouse picked up Hangman and delivered a devastating Jackhammer. Hangman crumbled in a pile outside the ring. As the referee turned his back to admonish Hangman for interfering, Diamond King ran to the ring with his World title belt. Donovan grabbed the distracted Powerhouse and threw him off the ropes for DK to hit him with the belt. Powerhouse was out cold. DK went outside the ring to the fallen Gus and applied the Lethal Injection. Donovan, in the ring, put Powerhouse on the top rope and delivered his Flatliner. After grabbing the referee and bringing his attention back to the match, Donovan made the cover. The ref counted to three. THE GX REVOLUTION WINS the tag titles by pinfall. DK released the hold, and he Donovan, Hangman, and Virus Richards celebrated in the aisle.
Brewer: A huge win for GX! And what kind of momentum will that give DK in the upcoming Four Corners of Death match.
Wood: He's gonna need all the momentum he can get. He'll be in there with three men who want to take his head off to take the title. Let's not wait any longer. It's main event time!!!
Match #11: World Title/Four Corners of Death match - Diamond King (C) vs. The Ryno vs. Gargoyle Z vs. Blitzkrieg
As Diamond King, Ryno, and Blitzkrieg had made their way to the ring, Gargoyle Z was introduced. The entrance way was empty. The fourth man could not be found. The match opened with just three men involved in this no disqualification affair. Right from the start, Blitzkrieg gained the advantage. He took Bionic Pipe's weapon and leveled his two opponents! After climbing the top rope to salute the crowd, the leader of Disposable Heroes went to work on the Ryno. He hit Ryno with a variety of moves, including a stiff dropkick that sent Ryno back into the corner. Turning to Diamond King, Blitzkrieg hoisted the champion in the air and delivered a strong powerbomb that sent the champion reeling. In the early moments, it was Blitzkrieg's match.
After again hitting Ryno with the pipe, Blitzkrieg's attention became focused on DK. The resourceful champion, however, grabbed a bottle of vinegar that he had found at ringside and sprayed Blitz in the eyes. With his opponent's vision impaired, DK went on the offence, headbutting Blitz in the back before delivering a side Russian leg sweep. In the meantime, Ryno had gotten back to his feet and nailed the champion with a board. He then did the same to Blitzkrieg. The fans errupted, showing their approval of the superstar from the HWA. Ryno set up Blitzkrieg for his Ryno's Charge, but Blitz hit Ryno with a low blow. Both men crumbled to the mat. All three competitors were having difficulties. Whatever happened to Gargoyle Z?
Diamond King was the first to regain his balance. Carl Donovan hit the ring and gave the champ his standard ball bat. As Donovan was hurried away from ringside by MMP officials, DK went to work on his home run swing. He knocked Ryno flat on his back and then began to work on the legs of Blitzkrieg. He threw the bat aside and put a figure four on Ryno. Blitzkrieg crawled over to where the two men were fighting and covered Ryno. He got a two count before DK realized what was happening and broke the hold. He then pulled Blitzkrieg to the center of the ring where he hit a stiff backbreaker. Ryno got to his feet, picked up the bat, and clocked the other two men. Once again, Ryno was in control.
Ryno again attempted to hit his finisher on Blitzkrieg, and this time he was succesful. The Ryno's Charge left Blitzkrieg lying beaten in the center of the ring! He made the cover as the referee counted. At two, DK kicked Ryno in the head to break the count. How much did any of these competitors have left? After hitting a piledriver on Ryno, Diamond King dragged Blitzkrieg to the middle of the ring and put on the Lethal Injection. It was just a matter of time now before the champ retained his title. Suddenly, a man was seen parachuting into the ring wearing a spiked, black leather mask. As he landed behind Ryno he pulled of his mask and revealed his identity. It was Gargoyle Z!!! The crowd errupted in cheers that the fourth man had arrived. He threw the beaten Ryno off the ropes and hit a roll-through side kick that sent Ryno hard to the canvas. He then threw Ryno again off the ropes and caught him in the Watchful Eye! As Ryno struggled, he lost consciousness. The referee turned his attentions to Ryno and noticed that the man was out. He called for the bell. Diamond King, thinking that Blitzkrieg had quit, broke the hold and celebrated. What he did not realize, however, was that Gargoyle had won and was waiting on the former champion. He applied the Watchful Eye on DK. Soon, Gargoyle stood over three broken bodies in the middle of the ring. GARGOYLE Z WINS the World Championship after Ryno passed out in the Watchful Eye! The crowd errupted! Gargoyle made his way out through the crowd as the NEW World Champion!
Wood: Can you believe it? Gargoyle Z is the new champion!!!
Brewer: Sure, but he had to cheat to do it. If he had been there from the start, that never would have happened!
Wood: Pandemonium is breaking lose here in Seattle! Good night, everybody, from Chaos on the Coast!
