He was the winner of the Frank Kline Award (2000) for
the player of the year, Rice Award (1999,2000), Moore Award
(1997, 1998, 1999), Sanders Award (1997,2000) , and
Co-Comeback Player of the Year (1997, 1998). Also, Mike
has been named the Killer Lite Player of the Game ( 8)
the most of any other MFL player. He has had
a number of shoulder injuries over the past few years.
Which required surgery on April 3, 1998. He was named to
the First Team All-MFL 10th Anniversary Team. He is
known has the Living Legend because of the way he has
dominated football games in the past and the present. He
has great hands and good cutting ability, which has a
list of victims to back up that statement. He played
Division II Baseball for St. Andrews College in North
Carolina (1996-1999), winning the Coaches Award in
1999, for Best Dedication. He graduated from St. Andrews in May 1999 and recently
graduated from Graduate School at Shippensburg
