OTHER COMMENTS: Steve won the In Thim There Award during his first full season of MFL, after playing in two games during the 1998 season. Last season, Steve posted a successful 6-1 record winning the Moore Award and the In Thim There Award for the second straight year. Steve was the first person from outside of McAdoo to become an official member of the MFL, and was followed shortly thereafter by Tim Matula, both of them making up the "Coaldale Connection". Steve is a very versatile player and can perform at whatever position he needs to for his team to be successful. He was named to the MFL's 10th Anniversary All-Outsiders Team during the 1998 season. He is very dedicated to MFL and is very eager to play whenever possible. He is a lethal receiver and Defensive Back and possess a strong, accurate arm while Quarterbacking. Steve is recently graduated from Allentown College and was a three sports athlete during high school. He was the first of many newcomers to excel during the past 3 seasons and will be a force to contend with in the years to come. But whatever you do, don't tell him to do any grassies, just ask Lou Ceci.
