How to throw it: grip the ball sideways so that the holes point up and your hand is parallel to the ground. Throw the ball as hard as possible with a sidearm motion which is parallel to the ground. The ball is bound to cut a little to the left if you're a righty, because of the angle you're throwing it at.
You hold it the same exact way, just the only thing is that the holes face the other way. You must throw this pitch over the top in order for it to work though.
The grip to this pitch is easy. Simply hold it with the holes facing the ground. All you do it throw the ball with any speed that you would like (the quicker, the more the ball drops). You must start this ball high in order for it to drop into the strike zone. It can be very effective.
You grip this pitch, just as you would grip the fastball. Only instead of throwing it completely sidearm, throw it with just a little angle from the ground. While releasing, snap your wrist towards the ground. The ball will slightly drop and curve.
This pitch should be throw with the holes facing you. Place the tips of your fingers just above the holes. Throw the ball like a fastball and it should work. (with this pitch I usually short arm the throw to kind of slingshot it). Basically that's all and it should work.
