CHICAGO BULLS vs PORTLAND BLAIZERS

Scottie PippenThe Bulls became just the fourth team in NBA history to win back-to-back championships. And Jordan became the first player to do the same with the Finals MVP.

Averaging 35.8 points a game, Jordan led Chicago past Portland in six games.

Jordan was omnipotent, especially in Game 1 when he exploded for a Finals record 35 points in the first half to crush the Blazers, 122-89.

"Sometimes, I fascinate myself," Jordan said of his awesome shooting performance. "I just can't explain it. I just felt good, and kept on shooting. I got into a zone.

Jordan poured in 46 points in Game 5, and in Game 6, he broke out of a funk to score 12 of his 33 point in the fourth period, including the Bulls last six. Unlike the previous year, Jordan shed no tears after capturing his second ring. Instead, the Bulls player leaped upon the scorer's table and led the Chicago Stadium crowd in a celebration of title No. 2.

"Last year, there was seven years of frustration, of anxiety, all built up inside of me," Jordan said. "This has been only one year. I was able to hold back the tears and be more enthusiastic."
