A subgroup of us went down to St.Denis to try to score some tickets
to the

match at the
Stade de France.
About half of us got in. Larry and I weaseled some kid down to 700 franks some tickets that had 138 face value on them. The scalpers were everwhere and they all seemed to want at least 1000 franks for tickets that cost them anywhere from 38 to 200 franks. But the seats were well worth the monopoly money and haggling with the French was fun.
The game was a bit slow compared to
the Germany - Yugoslavia game, but the result made my pisan Larry happy.
This stadium is awesome Bill!
