The O'Learys were a good Catholic family, however Mrs. O'Leary was having an affair. Every afternoon she would have her lover in and he would be gone by the time Mr. O'Leary arrived home from work.

What she didn't know was that every day while she was seeing her lover, her twelve year old son Lenny was hid in the bedroom closet watching everything.

One day Mr. O'Leary arrived home from work early. Mrs. O'Leary told her lover to hide in the closet. Once the lover was in the closet, Lenny, who was hid there as usual, said to him, "Sure is dark in here."

"Sure is," replied the lover.

"Wanna buy a baseball?" asked Lenny.

"How much?" asked the lover.

"Two hundred dollars," said Lenny.

"That's ridiculous!!!" said the lover.

"Buy it or I'll tell," said Lenny.

The lover reluctantly handed over two hundred dollars for the baseball.

A week later, Mr. O'Leary arrived home early again, and again the lover is forced to hide in the closet. "Sure is dark in here," said Lenny.

"Sure is," said the lover.

"Wanna buy a baseball bat," asked Lenny.

The lover, knowing Lenny had him, asked, "How much for the bat, kid?"

"Three hundred dollars," said Lenny.

"No way!!!" said the lover. "Thats highway robbery!!!"

"Buy it or I'll tell," said Lenny.

The lover passed over the three hundred dollars.

The following Saturday, Lenny's dad noticed his bat and ball was nowhere to be found. "Where's your bat and ball, Lenny?" he asked.

"I sold 'em," said Lenny. "I got five hundred dollars for 'em."

"Five hundred dollars!!!" said his dad. "Lenny, your bat and ball were not worth nearly five hundred dollars!!!" He scolded Lenny for selling his bat and ball for much more than fair market value, and as part of his punishment, being a good Catholic, Lenny was to go to Confession and confess his sin."

Off Lenny went to the church and into the Confessional, where the Priest was on the other side of the screen.

"Sure is dark in here," said Lenny.

"Don't start with that shit," said the Priest.
