Old Man Carter, a very successful St. John's businessman was having a meeting with his new son-in-law, Vince.

"I love my daughter very much," said Old Man Carter, "And to show you how fond I am of you, and to welcome you into the family, I am making you a 50-50 partner in the business. All you have to do is work on the factory floor for a while and learn the ropes."

"On the factory floor!!!" said Vince. "No way!!! I couldn't stand the noise."

"Okay," said Old Man Carter. "You can work in the office. You can learn the management side of things."

"I'd hate being stuck behind a desk," said Vince. "I could never work in an office."

"You won't work in the factory," said Old Man Carter. "You won't work in the office. What am I going to do with you?"

"Easy," said Vince. "Buy me out."
