Hi!!!  My name is Jessi! I'm a Black Lab. I was born in Burin on August 19, 1992, but I have lived with my owners in Marystown since I was 5 weeks old.      I have a sister who is the same age as me. Her name is Shylo. She used to live in Grand Bank, and we used to play with each other a whole lot when we were puppies and young dogs, but she lives in Brooks, Alberta now, and I haven't seen her in a while.      I have a friend Nikki who lives in Garnish. She's two years younger than me. I don't see her that often, but when we get together we have a lot of fun, and sometimes we may even have a little arguement.      I have two pussycat friends, Simon and Snuffie, who live with me. I like playing with Snuffie, but all Simon does is sleep, yawn, and then sleep some more.  Snuffie is a year older than me, and Simon is eight years older than I am. He's really old.      I used to have two hamster friends, Spice and Chi Chi,  but they are not with us any more.      I have a pussycat friend named Shelbe, who lives in Toronto. I only met her once for two weeks at Christmas. She's okay, I guess. We send each other e-mail.      I have a friend who lives in Winnipeg. His name is Max. He's a German Sheppard. I've never actually met him, but our moms chat all the time, so we feel as though we know each other.      I love going for walks with my dad, but since I got some arthritis in my hips, I have to be careful not to over-do it. I also hurt my knee a while back  but Dr. Harding fixed it. You can read about it here.      Hope you enjoy my pictures.

That's Simon. He's a hundred years old. He wasn't fussy about me when I first came to live here, but he got used to me. He's the boss. He does what he wants, when he wants, where he wants. I sure don't argue with him.

I had an accident on December 10, 1994. I was gone for six days, and when I came back the Doctor took off one of my toes and bandanged my whole paw. That was a rough time for me, but I got over it.

This is my friend Max, the German Sheppard in Winnipeg. He's a big baby, just like me.

This is Penny. Her mom and dad are from Deer Lake, but they live in Marystown now.  Her mom works at KFC with my mom.

This is Tim. He lives in Grand Falls-Winsor. If you'll notice, he only has one front paw. The Doctor had to take off the other one. He dosen't seem to mind it though.

This is my little hamster friend Chi-Chi. Her real name is Cappuccino.

Ya gotta admit, I am one good lookin' dawg. This picture was taken right after my very first swim. I only went about two feet, and it only lasted a few seconds, but I really was swimming. I was six weeks old at the time. I didn't know what was going on, but there was something about it I liked. I can swim a lot better now than I could back then. Swimming is my most favorite thing in the whole world to do, except for playing fetch, playing garden hose, going for walks, sleeping, eating breakfast, eating supper, going to work with Dad, going in the car, going in the truck. Come to think of it, I love everything!!! Life is good.

Tia lives with Tim in Grand Falls-Winsor. She's pretty, but not as pretty as me.

When I was five weeks old and came to my new home, Simon wasn't very glad to see me. I'm much larger than he is now, and I remind him of that first night often. We laugh about it.

Tigger's mom and my mom are friends. I bet they talk about us all the time.

Trinity's mom is from Cavendish, Trinity Bay. She lives in Ottawa with her mom and dad, Dion.

This is Chloe. She lives in Ottawa. Maybe she'll be Prime Minister some day.

Cooter likes to act like a star, but we all know who the real star is around here.

Dad gave mom a little puppy for Christmas, so that means I have to get used to her and be nice to her.. I was jealous at first, until mom and dad explained to me that I am still number one and will always be number one. Just between you and me, I think she is kind of cute, and sometimes when I am bored, I actually enjoy playing with her. I love it when mom and dad gets mad at her. They tell her she should be a good doggie like Jessi. Afterwards, I tell her that being cute will only get her so far in this life, and that she has to be smart like me and play the humans for all they are worth. Oh, yes, I almost forgot, her name is Holly, and she was about seven weeks old when these pictures were taken. She weighed two pounds and will grow to about 15 pounds.

This guy's name is also Simon, but he's just a young thing. I've never met him, but his mom works with my mom, so he must be okay. He lives with two dogs, a little one named Brittney and a big Husky named Keisha. They must be good dogs, like me, to put up with having a cat in the house. I have to admit, he's kind of cute, for a cat.
