Olympics in my Sight
My shoulder has made a good recovery and I'll be ready to play in the italian
Open in Rome.
I was pleasantly surprised with my form after leaving Bermuda early so i could
acclimatise to the clay. Now I'm ready to play well. The biggest tournaments in
the world are between now and August-the French Open, Wimbledon and the
US open. There is also the Masters events with a lot of rankings' points at stake.
ONE of the major reasons I want to do well is the Olympic Games. Australia has
four singles spots available and I want to nail down my spot with some good
performances. Lleyton Hewitt looks a certainty, barring injury, and Mark
Philippoussis also looks good. Andrew Ilie is in the running, Richard Fromberg is
keen and jason stoltenberg is a chance.
SLEDGING has always been a part of team sports such as cricket and football,
but not tennis. The only bloke you hear it from is Jeff Tarango and nobody takes
any notice of him.
