Bullets v Edinburgh
We lost by one. Damn. We didn’t even get to see the grand final of the matchstick-leg contest between Yorick and John McCord. Now we’re down below Thames Valley whch is wounding cos they shouldn’t be as good and now we’re 15 and 15. It makes me wonder how important Corey Jackson really was to the team because the appalling slump seems to have coincided with his injury, and got much worse since Yorick’s demise. At least Shawn and Nigel are scoring with some consistency, and Justin and ‘Miko are as consistent on the
floor as ever. Even if Justin isn’t being played. The rumours I heard say that next season we might have Justin and Dorsey, If Mike leaves. I am a big fan of his but you have to wonder who is more important - the all-star coach or two star players? Of course, that rumour might have very little truth in it. Bring back Reginald, that’s what I say. And Derek Redmond. Then the
quality of the baaaarsketball at the club might improve.
Oh, and basketball game.

BULLETS 98 MKL 88
One thing that gets me. We play top teams like manchester, Sheffield and Towers and OK so we lose but it's by 70-65 or whatever. We play a team like MK, who suck, and we play really well and almost get the century, and still they manage to get 88. Make sense?
It seemed to me that the games, and Bullets season was in danger of going horribly wrong when Kelvin Robinson did that allez-hoop (allez-oop? alley-oop? ally-oop? Does anyone care?) in the first half (I was still anticipating 3rd Quarter Syndrome).
I hate Robinson, he has 2 perfect Bullets player qualities: He knows how to dunk well and he knows how to reeeeeeally annoy opposition fans. However, he is a nob and is rubbish (apart from the dunks).
As I was saying, I was worried, then Joel Burns stepped up singing #"Here I come to save the daaaay! Thank goodness Mighty Mouse is on his way!" OK so he didn't help much against Towers, but I know why. See Mighty Mouse is mighty, but for all that Mightyness he is still a mouse and no one could hear him over the laughter they were directing at Danny Lewis' crap new hairstyle and Barry Bowman's crap (old) name in HUGE letters on his back.
NUFF respect to Justin, 28 points for Bullets most consistent player for the last year or so (Nigel & Miko also), NO respect to Erci Burks for missing that dunk.
If he had scored t would have been 98-90, and I would have got a maximum 20 on Mr Roo's Fantasy League. Anyhoo, top result. And CLIVE GOT 8 POINTS (and Myron 1)! Everything might just be good from now on.
