On this page I'll publish y'all's picks for the race just passed. I know it ain't pretty, but it does the job. I'll put points out to the right of your picks so you can do the math yourself. Let me know if I made a mistake. Don't forget - you add another 10 points to your score just for entering. Any typos or grammatical errors in the comments are your own. I just edit for cleanliness. Parenthetical phrases to the right of the picks are my input.

(comments) Sandro, neil here, I'm in. I'm all about picking winners and making comments on
something about which I have no knowledge. I picked all my winners based upon how funny their
name sounds: John Andretti, ha! Thanks for taking the time to put this webpage together I'm
happy any time I get to express my ignorence in a public forum. So when's the next NASCAR meet?
I never go into the official NASCAR store they have at the mall here (no b.s., it's an
entire store devoted to NASCAR paraphinalia) so I don't know.

You bet your ass there are some comments. Martin is gonna be breaking hearts this Valentine's
Day as he beats Gordon by at least two seconds. It's gonna look like Chewbacca vs. Hoar out
there. Lanky, ugly, and just plain mean. (I hope you don't deduct points for sentence
fragments.)
I like Burton as my surprise. He finished pretty strong last year, and he drives a cool car.
Han Solo may be able to make the Kestel run in 12 parsecs, but Martin is gonna win this race
against Gordon and his Tuskan Raiders.

1. the 24 +10 +10(winner) 2. Terry Talabonte
3. Bobby Talabonte
4. Mike Skinner +10 +15(surprise) 5. Dale Earnhardt +10
My surprise pick is Skinner. I don't think he finished in the top 10 last year.
I know its kind of a copout since he's so dominant at the superspeedways, but
under your format he technically becomes a surprise pick.
Look for the Roush cars of Martin and Burton to be there right at the end but I
predict they'll just get shuffled out of line at the end of the race. the 24 is
probably the strongest car in the field and if he doesn't get abandoned by hes
#5 teammate he will win his 2nd Daytona 500.
