Bruna Stjärnan BK (Brown Star SportsClub in english) were established in 1994 in a little town called Götene, Sweden. About seven boys, all 13 years old decided to found a club because there was no opportunities to play in a floorballteam in Götene. Floorball is a very fresh sport and hasn´t reached the U.S yet. But it has developed a lot in Europe. The first name was IFK Pandan. They played against other kids in the neighborhood. Often they won a lot of matches and cups! In 1995 they changed name t´Vikings FC and played the first real match against a older opponent in Götene Cup. However, Vikings FC lost all four games and scored only once. But it was a great experience and a day they never forget. Kenta Edvardsen broke a new record with 7 a min. penalty! Andreas Ramsbacher scored the first goal ever for Vikings FC and that was the beginning of a new era!

Again they changed name. This time: Bruna Stjärnan BK. They played in the first leaguegame against Götene MK. They lost but it was a great game and it almost was a fight at the end. Vikings FC didn´t take any points that season and scored only three times (all goals by David Gustafsson) in five games. In 1996/97 the Bruna Stjärnan BK board decided to challenge the top teams and become a top club. They brought Alberto Miranda to the club and moved to the top division. This time they were more experienced and bought Skaraborgs Ost twice, but the second victory was removed because the Korpen board thought Bruna Stjärnan had cheated and both teams chared one point. Bruna Stjärnan finished at the bottom of the series but grabed three points and scored 9 times in 8 games. Only conceding 19. Top goalscorer this season was Patricio Grondona scoring 4 times in 9 apps. Last season, 98/99. Bruna Stjärnan played in Serie B. And this time they got some more points. They were close to reach the finals but Jokrarna were to difficult and moved on to a total championship title. Daniel Österlund sat a new record in goalscoring, hitting the net 17 times in 10 apps. The club is hoping that Daniel can go on an´score even more goals this season with new partner Oscar Johansson.
