gymnastics at Petrolul Ploiesti & was a member of the national team
from 1993-1998, although she didn't begin to make her mark until
1997. Little is known about her, except that she showed great potential,
but unfortunatly in 1998 Nicoleta suffered a spine injury, ultimatly ending her career. After the injury, Octavian Belu kicked her off the national
team. According to Nicoleta, "Belu, nor the Romanian Gymnastics
Federation care about a gymnast after they have a serious injury".
She was 16 when she retired. Nowdays, she has been offered a coaching
contract in United Arab Emirates & she is very optimistic about this
new opportunity.
