Gina Gogean's Biography

Gina Elena Gogean was born on September 9, 1977 in a small village
near Focsani called Campuri, in the county of Vrancea. Her father's name
is Emil & he's a driving instructor. Her mother, Anica, is a factory worker.
Gina has one sister named Maricica, who was a medical student at the
University of Iasi. Gina began gymnastics at the age of 6 & her favorite
events were vault & floor. Her idols include Nadia Comaneci & Daniela
Silivas. As for hobbies, Gina likes music & watching TV. Her favorite
singer is Michael Jackson 7 her favorite actor is Eddie Murphy. In her
free time, she also enjoys reading adventure novels & shopping for cloths.
She finished high school in 1996, where her favorite subject was biology.
Of the places she's visited, her favorite was Rome, Italy. After the
retirement of Lavinia Milosovici in 1996, Gina became team leader until her
retirement after the 1998 World Cup. She was nearly 21. After retiring
she coached the junior national team in Deva, but quit in late 1999 or
early 2000 because her & Milo hadn't been paid their salaries in months.
In 1997 she competed for the Alma Juventus Fano team in Italy. Gina
is currently dating a guy named Cristian, who lives in Deva & is attending
her final year at the University of Timisoara.
