Angela Ghimpu's Biography

Angela Ghimpu was born in Marasesti on January 24, 1978. Much
was expected of this gymnast but things didn't go the way Angela had
hoped. She made her international debut in 1993 & was a member of
the 1994 Goodwill Games team, but after that, injuries took their toll.
In early 1995, after an extremely short time on the national team,
Angela was forced to retire. She was 17.
