Here are some fun facts about the Stooges. Some of them you may already know while others are very little known info. Enjoy.

• Curly, Moe, and Shemp were brothers in real life. They had two other brothers, who were not in show business.
• There were a total of 6 Stooges.
• Larry's favorite comidians were Jack Benny, Milton Bearle, and Redd Foxx.
• Curly was the youngest of the Horowitz (Howard) brothers and was nicknamed "Babe."
• Moe's nickname growing up was "Harry."
• The only Stooge that used his real name was Joe Besser.
• The Stooges made a total of 190 "short subject" episodes with Columbia - 97 with Curly, 77 with Shemp, and 16 with Joe.
• The Stooges appeared in the first "music video" in 1938. This was for a song called "Swinging the Alphabet" and appered in the short film "Violent is the Word for Curly."
