Wide Drag - Strong "I" / Normal

Runs just like it did last year, except for the FlANKER performing the CRACK BACK BLOCK to help get the HB free.
The TE still runs the POST route to "pick" the MLB, thus your HB should be alone on the wide side of the field.
Hustle for the first down! Near the GOAL LINE, try and hit the FB to surprise your opponent!

FB Spring

Also, if you just want to get yards any way you can, I have a pretty good play that I developed and have heard some others say they have too. In any case, it will get you yards. It's called FB Spring. (Strong normal formation) You want to sub in your fastest running back or whoever you want to get the yards in for the FB. You might even want to stick a big blocking TE where the right-side WR is.

QB Default
WR Run block middle
WR run block whatever
RB run block right
FB Toss Right
TE run block middle
LT Run block right
LG Run block right
C RB right
RG Pull Right
RT RB right

A couple cautions: Run this play to the designed side, because if the CPU runs a nickle (and they often blitz the corner from that formation) that blitzing CB will meet you AT THE HANDOFF. (very bad) They won't play dime against this formation that I've seen. Also, when they play certain zones (never seen this happen vs. a man defense) the defensive end will sometimes windmill out into the flat right at the snap. You should still be able to avoid him, but if you see that, speed burst straight right until you get around him. Against any man coverage, you should be in the clear for a 15+ yard gainer. This play basically gives your guy the ball outside the contain of the defense, so they react late, that's all. whew!...

TE Bench

I noticed that someone was asking for some good plays to the TE. Well, here are two of the plays that I use. TE Bench is especially effective on short yardage downs. I think that I stole these two from BYU.

This is a quick play so dump it fast. Do your pre-reads of the Defense and determine who's getting the rock. Usually you want to throw to the long side of the field. You can really suprise the defense with this one if they're blitzing. I've used it against every type of defense and most of the time I can get 5 or more out of it.

The HB will start to run between the WR and RT, but I usually pull him before he gets past the line of scrimmage and follow my pulling RT around the blocking WR and wait for day light. I've had the Rumbling RT pin three defenders while I broke a long one. keep in mind that the only time I will use the block RT is when I see the first hole is getting plugged up quick.

Jimbo

i have been reading a lot of posts were guys have been drafting quarterbacks with 70-80 agility and i was trying to make a play to take advantage of that. i made 2 versions of the play, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. i would like everyone to please try them out and tell me what you think. especially you play creating wizars GIG $F$, Jimbo, and Hellion.

HOW TO RUN THESE PLAYS:

imajine your controller as a clock. now start your joystick at the 7 o'clock position befor the snap on both plays.

#1-start in the 7 o'clock position then wait a split second and start a sweep to your left. now spin to try and avoid the DE, if you do it should be a easy 10 yards, if you don't you will probably suffer a loss of yards

#2-start at the 7 o'clock position then wait a split seceond and run forward at the same forward angle if you understand what i mean. you will usually get a maxium of 7 yards but you won't suffer nearly as many losses as version number one. and rember that if you ever get stuffed that you do have and eligible receiver to throw to.

these plays work best against zones and VERSION #2 works good againts DIME Zone D's

I like this play because if the defense sniffs out the screen to the HB I simply dump it to the WR sitting behind two big blockers.

For those of you that don't have enough pass plays to shred defenses with, here's another:

You need someone who can catch in the fb spot since he's going to get the ball most of the time. I put a te there to give me a bigger target. Look at the safeties at the snap and see if you can go deep to a wideout, otherwise throw to the fb.
