Speed Outs

Speed Out - Pro/Normal

The SPEED OUT play is good against any Four- Short, Three Man Deep Zone or Man Coverage. Corners that line up loose (not playing "Bump & Run") on the WR's are vulnerable to the OUT route.

Assignments

QB: Drop 5

FL: Out 10

SE: Out 10

HB: Wheel L

FB: Wheel R

TE: Slant Hook 10

OL: Plass Blk

Presnap Look: Locate the "soft-side" of the field, work outside - in to that side. Key on SS; off the HASH hit the TE. SS on the HASH, hit the FLANKER.

GRID IRON GHOST $F$

This is one of my Red Zone plays. I often find the TE alone at the back of the end zone (especially when I reverse the play). I can't remember where I got this play though. I might have stolen it from UT Austin or one of the Iowa schools. Then again, I might have just taken someone's TE Option and modified it. If it turns out that I got it from the message board, then kudos to you for the double post.

HB Pass Blk L

FB Far R

O-Line Pass Blk

Ptermani

This play attacks the WEAK side of the field. It can have a PICK action Vs. Man coverage and is a good ball-control pass.

Assingments

QB: PA FB

FL: Post 10

SE: Quick In 6

HB: Corner 5

FB: Wide L

TE: Pass Blk

OL: Pass Blk

Presnap read: QB works HB to SE of the CB read. If WEAKSIDE BLITZ, HB is the Receiver. If a STRONGSIDE BLITZ, hit the SE.

PA Dash - Pro/Normal

The pass concept is effective Vs.a hard-charging rush. A Blitzing Defense will over pursue and the QB should be able to hit either the FLANKER on the FADE (or possibly the TE on the STREAK route)or the SE or the HB over the middle for a quick gain. I usually "HOT KEY" the HB to run an IN route and hit him if the FLANKER and the TE are covered.

The primary receiver on both of these plays is the guy on the flare out pattern. To keep the D honest the long ball to the fade pattern is suggested.

ol pass block

I kept 7 in to block because the team I'm playing doesn't give my qb much time, but I think it actually helps create space against most man or man/zone coverages because defenders assigned to cover the hb or te rush. One of recievers comes open most of the time against the few Ds that do a good job of covering the fb's route. It's called Truck because Kevin Mack is the fullback in my current franchise.

Split Right Scat L Angle - Pro / Normal

Assignments:

QB: Drop 3

FL: Hook 10 or 15

SE: Hook 10 or 15

HB: Angle

FB: Pass Blk R

TE: Curl 15

OL: Pass Blk

You'll find this one in the Colt's PB. Your MAIN read is the HB on the ANGLE. Watch for youe WR's on the "comebacks" if HB is covered by "D".
