Welcome to Kickoff 20001!!!
Video reports RULE!!, but they will only supplement the weekly article, so remember to check here weekly.
Week one in the NFL and here's an overview of the season. The Ravens hopes of repeating took a major blow when Jamal Lewis went down in the preseason with a blown out knee. They should still make a post-season appearance, but I don't expect them to go deep. Okay, call me kooky (Kooky Murphy??), but I think that the New Orleans Saints have a VERY good chance to go to the big show this year (NOT Phantom Of The Opera, you idiots, the Super Bowl!!!). I know it's a stretch, and I'm kinda going out on a limb, but I'm going to take that chance. I think the Titans are the team to beat in the AFC this year. The money pick is on the Broncos, I know, but Tennessee just seems so strong in so many areas. The favorite is STILL the Bucs in the NFC, but hey, just like last year, when Keyshawn came to the team, the "experts" think that it takes a big Johnson to win a Super Bowl. Now the Bucs have two Johnsons. Will two Johnsons be enough, or will they have to bring in Arte next year. "Very Interesting".
I'll restart my "Around The NFL" segment next week. For now, enjoy week one.
