Note! Tanja Szewczenko has certainly had a hard time since she burst onto the scene in 1995 with a bronze medal at Worlds. She has had to overcome a very serious illness which has held out for over a year. Last season she come back with a bang, as she was 3rd at Europeans. However her illness was a decisive factor in her decision to retire from the olympics. Tanja is a very elegant skater, her presentation and choreography is really good and her jumps are pretty consistant, however she has a tendency to land her jumps on two feet when put under preasure. Next season her chances should be pretty good for top placings.
