The Carmel soccer team played their first home game under the lights against Panas on Monday. Carmel took the early lead with a goal from Paul Hammer. Jesse Foppiano scored his second goal of the season to put Carmel up 2-0. Panas scored before the half to bring the game to within 1. Carmel came out strong in the second half, getting two goals from T.J. Helly and one from Luke Shkreli. Panas added one more to make the final 5-2. Carmel played well, but they will have to stepit up a notch to take on Yorktown and Mahopac this week.
